CHARLES RONALD ROBERSON
MORTON, Miss. — Funeral service for Charles Ronald Roberson, 59, formerly of Clay County, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will be in Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Roberson died Nov. 24 at his residence. He was a native of Sylacauga, had been a former resident of Clay County and was presently a resident of Morton, Miss. He was currently employed as a welder with Steel Services in Flowood, Miss. He had previously been employed as a truck driver for Colonial Freight Lines in Knoxville, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Roberson of Morton, Miss.; his mother, Buna Roberson of Ashland; one son, LeWayne Roberson of Albertville; one sister, Joyce Griffin of Lineville; and one brother, Larry Roberson of Lineville.
Pallbearers will be Greg Roberts, Steve Roberts, Danny Hill, Jeff Griffin, Bart Griffin and Ralph Headrick.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. Tuesday until service time Wednesday.
Clay County Funeral Home will direct the service.
GLENDA WEST SIMPSON
LEEDS — Funeral service for Glenda West Simpson, 59, was Saturday at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Mrs. Simpson died Nov. 21.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Emery Simpson; a daughter, Renee Simpson Williams; and a son, Michael Emery Simpson.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds directed the service.
ANNIE EVA STINE
LINCOLN — Funeral service for Annie Eva Stine, 87, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Blue Eye Baptist Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Ronnie Chapman and the Rev. Daniel Bentley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Stine died Nov. 26.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
ARTHUR B. TURNER
MOODY — Graveside service for Arthur B. Turner, 101, was Sunday in Wafford Cemetery
near Sulligent.
Mr. Turner died Nov. 22.
He is survived by three sons, Henry Turner Sr., James Arthur Turner and Harold Turner; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds directed the service.

LINCOLN — Susie J. Wilson, 64, of 186 Hunter Road, died Nov. 26 at Regional Medical Center.

B.E. GENE HERMAN
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for B.E. (Tennessee) Gene Herman, 68, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donald Grice and the Rev. Freddie Edwards officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Herman died Dec. 11. He attended Unity Freewill Baptist Church, was married for 46 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He fought in the
Korean War and worked for a number of years at Avondale Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Mae C. Herman of Sylacauga; two sons, Dempsey Herman of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Donald E. Herman of Sylacauga; five grandchildren, Stephanie Rodgers of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Pete Shrader of Dickson, Tenn., Shorty Shrader of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Chase Herman of Sylacauga and Dustin Herman of Sylacauga; and two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Rodgers and Kelli Rodgers of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Bill Taylor, Jeff Hickman, Greg Hammonds, Marcus Grandstaff, D.J. Culverson, Glen Meherg, Ray Epperson and Robert Cox.
Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Hickman.
Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga will direct the service.
MILDRED LIMBAUGH LIPSEY
IRVINGTON — Funeral service for Mildred Limbaugh Lipsey, 93, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg chapel with the Rev. John Verciglio officiating. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Lipsey died Dec. 11 at her residence in Mobile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lipsey; a brother, Rosston Limbaugh; and a sister, Hattie Ruth Foster. She lived in Eastlake for 55 years, was a member of Eastlake Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was a native of Childersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Marshall of Irvington and Amelia Collins of Fairhope; six brothers, Frank Limbaugh, Robert Limbaugh, George Limbaugh, James Limbaugh, Shealey Limbaugh and Roscoe Limbaugh; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
OLLIE BEATRICE LAWRENCE PATTERSON
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Ollie Beatrice Lawrence Patterson, 71, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg chapel with the Rev. Edward Green officiating. Entombment will be in Greenhill Memorial Mausoleum.
Mrs. Patterson died Dec. 10 at Coosa Valley BMC. She was a member of Mountainview Baptist Church, the Heritage Society (Kymulga) and was a native of Talladega County.
She is survived by her husband, James Patterson of Childersburg; one daughter, Patsy Jo Brinkert of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three stepsons, Edward Patterson of Sylacauga, Roy Patterson of Birmingham and Ray Patterson of Wilsonville; two stepdaughters, Brenda Rogers of Arkansas and Velinda White of Georgia; one brother, Eddie Johnson of Childersburg; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Johnson, Raymond Carroll, Edward Patterson, Jeff Spates, Blaine Carroll, Larry Carroll, Roy Patterson and Marcus Lightsey.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

CLIFFORD C. STRICKLAND
SYLACAUGA — Clifford C. Strickland, 84, died Dec. 9 at Coosa Valley BMC.

JOHN THOMAS TUCK SR.
PELL CITY — Funeral service for John Thomas Tuck Sr., 84, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Bill Ayers officiating. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery
in Birmingham.
Mr. Tuck died Dec. 12. He served in the U.S. Army for 29 years, was a veteran of World War II and the
Korean War and was a former P.O.W. He served in Burma, India. He retired as a staff sergeant in 1966. He was born in Birmingham on Nov. 16, 1917, was a lifetime member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association, the V.F.W., the American Legion and was a member of Eden Weside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby L. Tuck; one daughter, Katherine Gangali of Pennsylvania; two sons, Peter Tuck and John Tuck Jr. of New Jersey; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Sosebee of Pell City and Barbara Foster of Birmingham; two stepsons, Larry Justice of Loachopoka and Ronnie Justice of Winton, N.C.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
