Survivors include her husband, Orbrie Huff, of Stanton; son, Burton Huff of Stanton; daughter, Lynn Robinson of Deatsville; granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson of Deatsville; grandson, Trent Huff of Stanton; brother, J. Services are at 10 a.m. Friday, April 23, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating and the Rev. John Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Martin Funeral Home directing. Survivors include her husband, Orrie B. Huff of Stanton, son, Burton (Amy) Huff of Stanton; daughter, Lynn (Roger) Robinson of Deatsville; granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson of Deatsville; grandson, Trent Huff of Stanton; brothers, J. R. "Buddy" Robertson of Tuscaloosa, Jack Robertson of Selma; sisters, Jewel Chambers of Centreville, Ethel Moon of Selma, Ester Ratliff of Plantersville and Elizabeth Argo of Summerfield. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Trevor Huff and Riley Huff.

Grace H. Crew, 81, of Clanton, died Tuesday, January 25 at Chilton Medical Center. She was born November 28, 1923 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Larce Headley and the late Alma Foshee Headley. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Crew of Atlanta; son, Bobby Crew of Alex City; and brother, Tommy Wyatt. Services will be held graveside at Martin Memorial Cemetery, today at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.

Mr. Thea Crowe, age 58, died suddenly last Wed. afternoon at home of his Son, W. B. Crowe of Clanton. Burial was at Mt. Olive near Lawley, Ala.

Crowe, James Lindon
July 25, 1931 - September 11, 2002
Graveside services for James Lindon Crowe, 71, Lawley, were held on Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at Mt. Olive cemetery in Perry County, with Rev. Victor Foster and Rev. Wade Greene officiating, and Rockco's Funeral Home in Centreville directing.Pallbearers included Tootle Freeman, Lynn Greene, David Greene, Clint Carlee, Matt Riff, and Gary Dale Crowe. Crowe attended Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. He served in the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He died on Sept. 11, 2002 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Crowe, Lawley; two sons, Mike Crowe and Greg Crowe, both of Lawley; one daughter-in-law, Gail Lawley.

Graveside services for Willodean Margaret Crowson, 79, of Jemison were June 7, 1998 at Midway cemetery with Rev. Braxton Baker officiating and Martin Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Crowson was born June 13, 1918, in Alabama to the late Euel and Margaret Adelia Dawson. She was a homemaker. She died June 5, 1998 at her residence in Jemison. She is survived by her husband, Milton W. Crowson of Jemison; a son, Roger Dale Crowson of Clanton; a daughter, Donna Jo Carden of Alabaster; two sisters: Lucille Blow of Jemison and Essie Mae Crowson of Hoover; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Crumpton, Christopher Columbus
July 26, 1853 - October 27, 1937
Christopher Columbus Crumpton, age 84, died at the home of his Granddaughter Mrs. Ruby Cobb, Oct. 27. He suffered a Stroke that day while picking up Potatoes. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. He is survived by his Wife, Mrs. Sarah Crumpton, whom he married in 1875, 1 Son, dr. James P. Crumpton of Clanton, 2 Daughters, and 2 Sisters. Before marriage his Wife was Miss Sarah F. Smitherman.

Graveside services for Felton Crumpton, 68, Verbena, were held at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church cemetery on Sunday, March 17, 2002, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Derek Deavers officiating and Martin Funeral Home directing. Crumpton was born on Nov. 17, 1933, in Chilton County, The son of the late Olin Crumpton and the late Maggie Ellen Crumpton. He was a correctional officer. He died on March 15, 2002, at Chilton Medical County. Survivors include one daughter, Lori Smitherman, Verbena; on son-in-law, Phillip Smitherman, Verbena; two grandsons, P. J. Smitherman, Verbena, Morgan Smitherman, Shelby; two granddaughters, Amanda Smitherman and Dana Smitherman, both of Verbena; three brothers, Leo Crumpton, Verbena, Marvin Crumpton and J. O. Crumpton, both of Thorsby.

She is survived by a son, Paul Patterson of Jemison; two daughters: Louise Hayes and Beatrice Burnett, both of Thorsby a brother, Vester Robinson of Jemison; two sisters: Geneva Parker and Polly Watley, both of Thorsby; 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady W. Patterson; her son Rev. Curtis Patterson; and her daughter, Esther Gillispie.

Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist cemetery in Jemison, with Martin Funeral Home directing. Tunell was born on Sept. 8, 1908, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Allen Perry and Claudia Willis Robinson. She was a hairdresser. She died at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Hill of Florence on March 28, 2000. Survivors include one son, Dennis Tunell, Florence; two sisters, Edna Ellison, Jemison, and Winnie Kate Crammond, Auburn; two grandchildren; and great-grandchild.

O. Robinson of Thorsby; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She was the daughter of Joe and Maude Robinson.

She is survived by her Husband, 1 Son, Early Wilson, and 4 Daughters, 1 Son was killed by Lightening Aug 24, of this year.

Robinson of Jemison; two sons: Tom Robinson of Gardendale and Ed Robinson of Jemison; a daughter, Myra R. Ellison of Clanton; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Robinson of Jemison; a son-in-law, Wilbur Ellison of Clanton; three sisters: Edna Ellison of Jemison and Amy Sue Tunnell and Winnie Kate Crammond, Both of Auburn; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two brothers: Donald Robinson of Wetumpka and Gene Robinson of Montgomery; and three sisters: Agnes Driver and Grace Andrews, both of Clanton, and Mrs. Willie Hurley of Prattville.
