RAINSVILLE, Ala. - Jewell Cooper Teat died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999. She was 83.

Survivors include three daughters, Jeannie Downs, Huntsville, Frances Owens, Scottsboro, Ala., and Betty Jones, Rainsville, Ala.; stepsons, Randy Teat, and Ruben Teat Jr., Rainsville; one sister, Hazel Lesee, California; one brother, Thomas Wright, Rainsville; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Graham and the Rev. Doyle Shirey officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

L.D. Turner
FORT PAYNE, Ala. - L.D. Turner died Monday, Jan. 26, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 84.

He was retired from Fort Payne Water Works and attended the Church of Christ.

He was the widower of Audrey Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Lee Turner; one son, Edward L. Turner, Norman, Okla.; four daughters, Bobbie Dale Young, Nadine Davis, and Elaine Turner, all of Fort Payne, and Shirley Jean Cassidy, Rainsville, Ala.; one brother, Howard Turner, Santa Rosa, Calif.; four sisters, Lavernia Whitley and Ruby Faye Hunt, Fort Payne, Lois Strickland, Rainsville, Ala., and Christine Owens, Fyffe, Ala.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Burt Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Freeman and the Rev. Steve Davis officiating.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

James Nelmes
DAWSON, Ala. - James Mitchell 'J.M.' Nelmes died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 87.

Survivors include three sons, J.L. 'Red' Nelmes, Wyman Nelmes and Gary Nelmes, all of Dawson; four sisters, Cleo King, Irene Chambers and Lois Edistn, all of Gadsden, and Llian Rucks, Dawson; one brother, Mavrick Nelmes.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 3 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Morgan Graham officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

'Jimmy' DiNardi
FORT PAYNE, Ala. - Vincent John 'Jimmy' DiNardi Sr. died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, in a Birmingham hospital. He was 85.

He was retired from NADA and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, 338 Bomb Group, 1751 Service and Maintenance.

He was also retired from the Army Reserve, a member fof NARFE Chapter 1868, VFW Post 3128 and Asbury Untied Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Stringer DiNardi; one daughter, Janice Burt, Fort Payne; one son, Vince DiNardi Jr., Fort Payne; three sisters, Margaret Calise, Ginger Mangino, and Lucy Brennen, all of New York; one brother, George DiNardi, Florida; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Parker officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens.

James Watson
SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - James Watson died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in an Alabama hospital. He was 67.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Watson; his mother, Pauline Watson, Scottsboro; six sisters, Joyce Griffith, Dutton, Ala., Betty Naler, and Theresa Steele, Hollywood, Ala., Lujean Bishop, Ruth Adkins, and Barbara Turner, Scottsboro.

Services were held Thursday at Scottsboro Funeral Home.

Ollie Houston
DAWSON, Ala. - Ollie V. Houston died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 85.

She was a native of Dekalb County, Ala., a member of Lusks Chapel Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bufford Houston.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha White, Dawson, Ala.; one son, Thomas Houston, Marion, Ala.; one sister, Iva Moses, Ider, Ala.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Lusks Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Ralph Johnston and the Rev. Roger White officiating.

Burial will be in Lusks Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are by W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in Rainsville, Ala.

Rev. Wesley McLain
SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - The Rev. Wesley P. McLain died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at his home.

He was the pastor of Oak Grove Holiness Church, was a veteran of World War II and was preceded in death by his wife, Cowley McLain.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Putman, Scottsboro; one son, Jimmy McLain, Chesterton, Ind.; one sister, Ruth Benson, Scottsboro; three brothers, Hilra McLain, Scottsboro, the Rev. James McLain, Lookout Mountain, Ga., and Doyle McLain, Hytop, Ala.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were Friday at Oak Grove Holiness Church.

Burial was in Gunter Mountain Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were by Scottsboro Funeral Home.

Bea Hendricks
ROSALIE, Ala. - Bea 'Scott' Hendricks died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, in Trenton, Ga. She was 88.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.R. Hendricks; two sons, Aunzell Hendricks and Charles Hendricks; and one daughter, Betty Hendricks.

Survivors include five sons, Almon Hendricks, Atlanta, Wonley Hendricks, Ider, Ala., Covie Hendricks, Signal Mountain, Tenn., E.J. Hendricks, Cartersville, Ga., and Ronnie Hendricks, Rosalie.; three daughters, Earnestine Stallings, Lookout Mountain, Tenn., Gail McBryar, Trenton, Ga., and Bobbie Sewell, Rosalie; and 33 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar, Ala., with the Rev. Rex Beaty and the Rev. Michael Hosch officiating.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 9 p.m. CST at the funeral home.

Jewell Blair
SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - Jewell Blair died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in a Jackson County Hospital. She was 67.

Survivors include one daughter, Rose Dunn, Flat Rock, Ala.; two brothers, Floyd Blair and Alvin Blair, Georgia; three sisters, Dollie Davis, Koko, Ind., Mary McCoy and Betty Paschal, Scottsboro; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Rainsville, Ala., with the Rev. Steve Wilbanks officiating.

Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery.
