Mrs. Horn died Wednesday at her home.

OXFORD - Services for Christopher Lail, 34, of Oxford will be announced by Miller Funeral Home in Oxford.
Mr. Lail died Tuesday in Eastaboga.
Ray
LEESBURG - Services for Brance Allen Ray, 70, of Leesburg will be 4 p.m. Friday at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Revs. Bobby Kitchens and Joe Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Ray died Wednesday at Riverview Medical Center in Gadsden.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Ray; a son and his wife, Michael and Lesley Ray of Centre; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and Charles Sewell of Tuscaloosa; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Susan and Jim Robson of Tallahassee, Fla., and Patty and Allan Kyzar of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother and his wife, Kenneth and Joe Bob Ray of Centre; six grandchildren, Joshua Sewell and his wife, Kacy, Charlsa Sewell, Laura Sewell, Rachel Kennerly, Rebecca Kennerly and Stefanie Ray; and a great-granddaughter.
Mr. Ray, a Cherokee County native, was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. He retired as a principal from Centre Junior High School with 30 years of service. He was a board member with Rome Bowling Association and named bowler of the year 2003, 2004.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Brance Allen Ray Scholarship Fund.
Reaves
OXFORD - Graveside services for Charles E. Reaves, 85, of Oxford will be 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery
in Ohatchee with Rev. Lee Loveless officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford.
Mr. Reaves died Wednesday at National Health Care.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Gregg Reaves; a daughter and her husband, Pat and Joe K. Mitchell of Valley; a son and his wife, Stan and Donna Reaves of Saks; four grandchildren, Zackery Reaves, Andrea Reaves, Shannon Templeton and Shane Templeton; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Reaves served in World War II 1941-1945 and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star after serving in three battle campaigns. He retired from U.S. Pipe Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Julie Hill Reaves.
Roberts
SEMINOLE, Fla. - Graveside services for Jerry Wayne Roberts, 51, of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Weaver, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Forestlawn Gardens with Chuck Stricklin officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary of Anniston in charge.
Mr. Roberts died July 12 in Florida.
Survivors include a daughter, Christy Roberts of Anniston; a sister, Candace Frisbie of Gadsden; a grandson, and a nephew.
Mr. Roberts had attended First United Methodist Church. A Marine Corps veteran, he was a member of AmVets and the Army and Navy Union in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Frisbie and William Roberts; and three brothers.
Rosser
CENTRE - Services for Alice Darlene Rosser, 56, of Centre will be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith-Perry Funeral Home Inc. in Centre with Revs. Leslee Bailey and James Rainey officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rosser died Tuesday in Gadsden.
Survivors include her husband, James Luther Rosser; her mother, Sue Logan of Rome; two brothers, Danny H. Logan and Ray R. Logan, both of Rome; a sister-in-law, Sarah Tierce of Centre; a brother-in-law, Hugh Rosser of Centre; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mrs. Rosser, a Floyd County, Ga., native, was a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church. She retired from Cherokee County Library. She was preceded in death by her father, William Hugh Logan; and her grandparents, William and Savannah Logan, and Thomas and Evie Mae Reed.
Secord
DALTON, Ga. - Memorial services for Alan J. "Al" Secord, 82, of Dalton, Ga., will be 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Guy Griffith officiating and Love Funeral Home in Dalton in charge. The family will receive friends following the service in the Northex of the church.
Mr. Secord died Tuesday at Hamilton Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Barker Secord, formerly of Anniston; two sons and their wives, Jim and Carol Secord of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Forrest and Gail Secord of Mableton, Ga.; a brother, Paul Secord of Whittier, Calif.; a granddaughter, Laura Secord; and three stepgrandchildren, Joshua Rothgeb, Caleb Puca and Zachary Puca.
Mr. Secord was a member, deacon and elder of Dalton First Presbyterian Church. He was a Naval reserve officer, serving in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was vice president at Hardwick Bank and Trust for many years.

WADLEY - Services for Martha Catherine Gray Wilson, 78, of Wadley will be 2 p.m. Friday at Quattlebaum Funeral Home in Roanoke with Revs. Bill Calhoun and Stanley Owen officiating. Burial will be in Forresters Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson died Wednesday at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Phyllis and John Daniel of Oxford; a granddaughter, Tammy Owen and her husband, Rev. Stanley; and a great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bennett, Randy Cummings, Bobby Parmer, Craig Calhoun, Tony Motley and Shenan Motley.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of Gray Hill Church of God. She retired from Handley Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Herman Wilson.

Brown
Services for Sharon Sue Brown, 40, of Anniston will be 11 a.m. today at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin with Pastor David Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Iron City Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her father, Virgil Brown of Iron City; her mother, Virginia Brown of Iron City; a daughter, Ashley Hill of Anniston; a brother, Tommy Brown of Iron City; three sisters, Judy Hightower of Anniston, Brenda McCord of Ranburne and Bobbie Wudarczyk of Iron City; and her grandmother, Adell McMicheal.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Brown, Johnny Wayne Brown, Jonathan Hightower, Zachary Hightower, Shawn Self and John Weaver.
Mrs. Brown, a Calhoun County native and lifelong resident, was a former employee of Lamar Manufacturing in Heflin.
Carroll
OXFORD - Graveside services for infant Jacob Travis Carroll, 6 months, of Oxford will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Hutto officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford.
The infant died Wednesday at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his parents, Todd Carroll and Shay Carroll of Oxford; a sister, Jessica Carroll of Oxford; his grandparents, Travis E. Carroll and Jane Carroll of Oxford; and his great-grandparents, Betty R. Waddell, Mildred Carroll, and Thelma Deason.
Collins
LINCOLN - Services for Brenda Heard Collins, 55, of Lincoln will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Holy Hill Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ with Bishop Edward Thomas and Elder Julius Cook officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 tonight at Terry’s Metropolitan Mortuary in Talladega. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mrs. Collins died Saturday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Bishop James E. Collins; two daughters, Sheretta Bradford and Lorraine Collins, both of Anniston; three sons, James Earl Collins, Orandray Collins and Kenny Collins, all of Lincoln; six sisters, Mattie Carmichael of Lincoln, Minnie Thorton, Edna Guilford, Debra Smith, Betty Heard and Bobby Heard, all of Panama City, Fla.; six brothers, Johnnie Reed of Dothan, Charlie Heard and Timothy Heard, both of Panama City, Howard Heard of Lincoln, Willette Heard of Anniston and Willie Lewis Heard of Columbus, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lawerance Carmichael, Dwight Elston, Rodney Hayes, Stevie Smith, Alfred Thorton and John Wills.
Mrs. Collins was a member of New Hope, Faith Deliverance and True Word of God Apostolic Ministers Inc. She was a member of the District Missionary, a Sunday School teacher and president of the Women Counsel of the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Heard Sr. and Nesie Embry Heard; two sisters, Maxine Carmichael and Evelyn Smith; and a brother, Eugene Heard.
Craig
OXFORD - Graveside services for Leila L. Craig, 94, of Oxford will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Oxford Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford.
Miss Craig died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include five nieces, Ann C. Stephens of Oxford, Mary G. Dyle of Chelsea, Nancy G. Shannon of Clanton, Martha C. Bauknecht of Ohio and Joyce C. Kloss of Georgia; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be great-nephews.
Miss Craig, a lifelong Oxford resident, was the oldest member of Oxford United Methodist Church. She was the oldest living member of the Oxford College Class of 1926.
Horn
ALEXANDRIA - Memorial services for Cleo Dover Horn, 83, of Alexandria will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Saks Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating and Miller Funeral Home of Oxford in charge. The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. today at the family residence, 55 Brooks Drive in Alexandria.
Mrs. Horn died Wednesday at her home.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Jeff and Tina Horn of Alexandria, and Gary and Elaine Horn of Washington; three grandchildren, Corey Horn, Zachary Horn and Stefanie McCuffey; and a great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Horn, a Clay County native, was a charter member of Pompano Baptist Temple in Pompano Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.T. Horn; her parents, Rosa Bolin Dover and Tobert Sparks Dover; three brothers, Burl Dover, Doy Dover and Dick Dover; and four sisters, Lula Fetner, Elbert McCormick, Dasie Strickland and Elva Worthy.
