TALLADEGA — Robert Douglas Camp died July 30 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham.

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — Funeral service for Alpha Coe, 75, formerly of Alexander City, will be Sunday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Coe officiating. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Park.
Ms. Coe died July 28 at Russell Medical Center. She was born in Alexander City on May 13, 1929, to Calvin and Nellie Burnett Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Jr. Coe; her mother, Nellie Lorine Wilkins and her father, Calvin "Happy" Nelson.
She is survived by son, Phillip James of Alexander City; one grandchild; and one great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Heritage Chapel Funeral Home in Alexander City will direct the service.

SYLACAUGA — Annie Russell Hill, 51, died July 29.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Floyd Mooney will be Sunday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Albert Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Mooney died July 30 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Mooney, Grady Mooney, Connie Mooney and Lucky Mooney. He worked for Dark's Dairy for 13 years and Sylacauga Utilities Board for 25 years. He was a wonderful father and husband. He loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Mooney of Sylacauga; daughter, Sheila Brown and husband William of Sylacauga; daughter, Patty Pullen and husband Phillip of Sycamore; son, Bryan Letcher and wife Christi of Weogufka; daughter, Angela Letcher of Sylacauga; son, Jason Letcher and wife Jennifer of Childersburg; sister, Lucy Thornton of Sylacauga; brother, Jimmy Mooney of Weogufka; granddaughters, Jessica Letcher of Childersburg, Lindsey McEwen of Sylacauga, Ashley Letcher of Sylacauga, Nicole Pullen of Sycamore, Katlyn Letcher of Childersburg, Elizabeth Letcher of Childersburg; and grandsons, Justin Letcher of Weogufka, Cody McEwen of Sylacauga, Ethan Letcher of Sylacauga and Luke Pullen of Sylacauga.
Pallbearers will be Braxton Carpenter, Robbie Kirk, Wade Houston, Marion Brown, Runt Robinson and Harold Williamson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Machen, Charles Hulett and Mickey Wilson.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JAMES LAUDERDALE
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for James Lauderdale will be Monday, Aug. 2, at noon at Harper Springs Baptist Church in Sylacauga with the Rev. Freddie Flanigan officiating. Burial will be in Harper Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Lauderdale died July 28. He was born Feb. 11, 1922 in Goodwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Mon and Mrs. Gustavia Lauderdale. After joining Harper Springs Baptist Church, he was a very faithful servant. He served as chairman of the Board of Deacons for more than 20 years and also served as a Sunday school teacher. He joined the Army on Dec. 10, 1942 and served honorably through Dec. 10, 1945. He was a decorated World War II veteran. On Sept. 20, 1948 he married Dollie Mae McMillian. He was a dedicated member of Adelphia Lodge No. 213, Prince Hall Affiliation.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie M. Lauderdale of Sylacauga; sons, Elbert Blankenship and James E. Lauderdale of Detroit, Mich., and Larry Lauderdale of Hope Hull; daughter, Mildred J. Blankenship of Detroit, Mich.; brother, Jack Lauderdale of Goodwater; sister, Elizabeth Walton of Alexander City; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Granddaughters and friends of the family will serve as flowerbearers.
The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from noon until 6 p.m. Family hour will be from 6 until 7 p.m.
Community Funeral Home will direct the service.

SYLACAUGA — Mittie Blount, 89, of Sylacauga died Saturday, July 31, at Adams Nursing Home in Alexander City.

in Talladega.
Mr. Camp died July 30 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County, was a member of Craig Memorial United Methodist Church in Eastaboga and owner of Camp Callers.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Gurley Camp of Talladega; daughter, Leigh Camp Walters of Lenlock; stepdaughter, Christin Cole of Talladega; sister, Beverly Utter of Hattisburg, Miss.; brother, Harvey Emerson Camp of Eastaboga; two grandchildren, Kenly Walters and Amory Leigh Camp; and one stepgrandchild, Pierce William Cole.
Active pallbearers will be Don Turner, Johnny Bigbee, Donnie Gallahar, Wayne Culver, Todd Bigbee, Wayne Bigbee, Ron Walters and Marvin Curlee.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Ward, Tim Mercer, Robert Mosley, Glenn Wadsworth, Gerald Grogan, Junior Robinson, Gary Aldredge, Roger Webber, Arlen Geier, Louie Hamilton, Joe Turner and Gowan Embry.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Josephine Dykes Wilson Davis, 71, of Pell City, will be Monday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Leesburg Cemetery
in Leesburg, Ga., with the Rev. Tillmon Harris officiating.
Mrs. Davis died July 30.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon St. John, Cathy Daniels and Joan Sermons; two sons, E.J. "Jerry" Davis Jr. and Phillip Davis; two sisters, Nancy Carol Carter and Sandra McGlamory; one brother, Carl Wilson Jr.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

ASHVILLE — Funeral service for Ola G. Hare, 100, of Ashville will be Monday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Doug Ford, David Hare and Matthew Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in Ragland Methodist Church Cemetery
in Ragland.
Mrs. Hare died July 31, at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ragland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Hare; a daughter, Maxine Wolfe; and a grandson, Greg Deason.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ann Smith of Birmingham and Jo Deason of Pell City; two sons, Laverne Hare of Ragland and Gerald Hare of Waleska, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be David Hare, Tim Hare, Charles Wolfe, Blake Smith, Jeffery Smith and Kerry Smith.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
