PELL CITY — Funeral service for William Martin "Bill" Bell, 37, of Pell City will be Monday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel in Pell City.

Mr. Bell died Nov. 23, 2005, in Pell City.

Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his father, Terry Bell.

Survivors include wife, Kimberly Bell; mother, Martha Bell; sister, Dawn Bell; brother, Jerry Bell; 2 nieces, Stephanie Bell and Brittney Bell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joyce and Jimmy Perry.

Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City is in charge of the arrangements.

MABLE "PAT" MCDANIEL

HOLLINS — Funeral service for Mable "Pat" McDaniel, 80, of Clay County will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, at Hollins Church of Christ with Jacky Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Hollins Cemetery in Hollins.

Mrs. McDaniel was born May 16, 1925, and died Nov. 26, 2005, in Clay County.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Jolene Bohannon and husband, Jerry of Millerville, Alabama, and Tammy Camp and husband, Randy of Millerville, Alabama; sister, Bobbie Chambers of Pensacola, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Eric Camp, Raven Camp, Jeremy Bohannon, Justine Bohannon; several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by husband, Memphis McDaniel.

The family would like to thank the staff of Clay County Nursing Home for their services.

Pallbearers will be David Willingham, Jim A. Willingham, Walter Willingham, Peter Willingham, Keith McDaniel.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service.

ANNISTON — Janet Evans Ray, 51, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at her residence in Anniston.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ervins Funeral Chapel in Anniston.

CHRISTOPHER "STANKY BOO" SWAIN

CHILDERSBURG — Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. from Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Cunningham officiating. Burial will be held in Tallassahatchie Cemetery.

Mr. Swain died on November 22 at his residence.

He is survived by one daughter, Lakisha McMillian of Childersburg, AL.; three sisters, Virgina Swain, Sylvia Swain McMillian, Alfreda Swain, all of Childersburg, AL.; one brother, Etho M. Swain, Jr. of Childersburg, AL., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews and brothers-in-law.

Flowerbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. Swain may be viewed at Community Funeral Home on Monday from noon until 9 p.m.

ODENVILLE — Graveside service for Infant Logan Quinn Courtney will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Brasher officiating. The Infant passed away Monday, Nov. 28. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Canonda Courtney; brother, Jacob Taylor; grandparents, Jean Burns, Teresa and Keith Epperson, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Courtney, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dunnavant; great grandparents, Benny and Alma French, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Courtney; great-great grandmother, Mrs. Janet Carr; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 2, from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

MUNFORD — Funeral services for Kristin Nicole Dustin, 11, will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Young officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Cemetery. Miss Dustin passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, at RMC. She was a native and life long resident of Talladega County. A member of Providence Baptist Church and Junior S.S. Class, Choir, and Awanas. A member of the Dance Line for the Munford Peewee Football League. She attended Munford Middle School. She is survived by her parents, Dusty H. Dustin of Munford and Sheri L. Dustin of Heflin; sister, Kadi Danielle Dustin of Munford; brother, Joshua Hugh Dustin of Munford; grandparents, Charles and Nellie Randall of Talladega and Steven and Janine Moses of Oxford; great grandparents, George and Hazel Miller of Munford and Martha Rainey of Lineville; aunts, Deborah D. Godwin and Amber Randall both of Talladega; uncles, Philip Randall of Talladega, Patrick Orr of Huntsville, Mathew Moses of Jacksonville, Nicholas Moses of Oxford, Alexander Moses of Oxford, and John Godwin of Talladega. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 1, from 5-7 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

Pallbearers will be Philip Randall, Patrick Orr, Mathew Moses, and John Godwin. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the services.

KANSAS CITY, MO. — Irene Elston, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Kansas City, MO. Sims Funeral Service will announce arrangements.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral services for Carl Lee Gaither, 67, will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Blackmon and Pastor Tony Thornburg officiating. Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery. Mr. Gaither died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Montclair BMC. He was a member of Heart of Dixie Cruisers. A native of Weogufka. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Allen Oil Co. of Sylacauga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna McDonald Gaither; parents, Emory and Dolly Gaither; and sister, JoAnn Roberts. He is survived by daughters, Donna and Jeff Limbaugh of Childersburg and Lisa and Danny Baird of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Blake Baird of Sylacauga and Candace Limbaugh of Childersburg; and sister, Ruth Hay of Hollins; Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 1, from 3:30-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gary Floyd, Jerry Sanford, Keith Barnett, Brad Rudd, Telbert Lightsey, and Jerry Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Howell, Pete Porter, Jackie Barnett, and Nick Poppella. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.

PELL CITY — Funeral services for Ola P. Hollis, 92, will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Hollis died Monday, Nov. 28. She is survived by daughter, Joan H. Williams (Perrigin); grandchild, Ronnie D. Williams (Charlayne); great grandchildren, Kaitlyn O. Williams and Marissa Hussey; three great-great grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. ALEX CITY — Graveside services for Herrell Otha Sasser, 82, will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Todd Henderson officiating. Mr. Sasser died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home. He was a member of Mignon Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Nina Sasser; brother, Bud Sasser; sisters, Liller Davis, Ruth Ward, and Annette Pearson. He is survived by daughters, Gail Harris and husband Tom of Chambersburg, PA., Jan Hare and husband Matt of Alex City, Pam Wingo and husband James of Hixson, TN.; their mother, Bea Sasser; grandchildren, Allen Jones, Mary Yourkavitch and husband Brad all of Chambersburg, PA., Kristi Dudley and husband Brett of Birmingham, Jamie Hare and wife Crystal of St. Petersburg, Tripp Wingo and Tucker Wingo both of Hixson, TN.; five great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Sasser of Valdosta, GA., Rayford Sasser of Childersburg, and Melvin Sasser of Pensacola; and sister, Ruby Richardson of Sylacauga. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Curry died Sunday, Dec. 4, at her residence. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Edward Curry of Lincoln; daughters, Mary Greer of Bynum, Florence Lemon of Los Angeles, CA., Brenda Woods of Eastaboga, Edwina Truss, Mattie Mauldin, Blanche Curry, Virginia Curry, Gloria Lynch, Tawanda Curry and Bervina Sims all of Lincoln; sons, Edward Curry Jr. of Huntington, NY and Frank Curry of Lincoln; sister, Ruth Fomby of Cleveland, OH; brothers, Charles Wills of Lincoln; 33 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren. The body will lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the services.

PENSACOLA, FLA. — Funeral services for Sandra A. Farley Lolley, 54, formerly of Irondale, will be Saturday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Mrs. Lolley died Thursday, Dec. 8. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Pensacola for the past nine years. She is survived by her husband, Harold Lolley; sisters, Brenda F. Johnson (Lloyd) and Elaine F. Wilkins (Kenneth); brothers, Curtis E. Farley (Carolyn), Kenneth Farley (Angelia), and Wendell Farley (Sharon); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Owings died Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Owings; brothers-in-law, Tony Stewart, Herschell Brooks, Freddy Brooks, David Owings, and James Brooks; sisters-in-law, Sherry Brooks and Judy Brooks. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lynn Stewart; brother, John Roberson Jr. of Talladega; and sister, Barbara Ann Isbell of Sylacauga. TALLADEGA — Louise M. Streeter, 83, died Thursday, Dec. 8, at Citizen's BMC. Sims Funeral Service will announce arrangements.

GARFIELD WHITE JR.

VILLA RICA, GA. — Mr. Garfield White Jr., 69, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was born February 9, 1936, in Randolph County, Alabama. He was the son of the late Garfield White Sr. and the late Rosie Free White. Mr. White was of the Christian faith. He was an owner/operator of his own trucking company for 38 years. Mr. White was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jaunaria Ruis White of Villa Rica; his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Gary Vansloun of Jefferson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Marcia Vaughn of Villa Rica, Gary White of Oxford, and James Gary and Louella Martin of Washington; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Ron Freeman of Chicago, Ill., Louise and Tim Bright of Anniston, Juanita and William Wooton of Jacksonville, Ala., Donna and Darrell Chapel of Jacksonville, Ala., and Ressie and Bill Nesmith of Atlanta; two brothers, Albert Taylor of Huntsville and Ralph Taylor of Anniston; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 9, at 11:30 a.m. at Villa Rica Christian Church in Villa Rica, Ga. with Minister Billy Kaylor officiating. Mr. White will lie in state at the Villa Rica Christian Church on Friday, Dec. 9, from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Ellers, Richard East, Tracy Bright, Curtis Rewis, Joel Rewis, and Jimmy Pate. Interment will follow in the Garden of Remembrance at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6-9 p.m. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com. PELL CITY — Funeral services for Sally Fields Creel, 88, will be Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Ethelsville with Dr. John Thweatt officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Creel died Friday, Dec. 12, at her residence. She was a member of the Lawrence family of Columbus, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Fields and Price Creel; and two grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Atkins of Columbus, MS., Debbie (Tony) Montalbano of Pelham, and Patsy (Jon) Adair of Birmingham; sons, Lawrence (Brenda) Fields of Pell City and Billy (Skip) Fields of Hoover; sisters, Frances Lawrence and Gabie Manning both of Columbus, MS; brother, Charles Lawrence of Daytona Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday at the church from 1-2 p.m.

DEWARD HANNAH

RAGLAND — Funeral services for Deward Hannah, 87, will be Saturday, Dec. 10, at 3 p.m. at Usrey Chapel in Pell City with burial in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hannah died Thursday, Dec. 8, in Pell City. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his daughter, Norma Hall (G.W.) of Newnan, GA.; grandson, Todd Hall of Atlanta; special friends, Sue and Sparky Barber of Ragland; several nieces and nephews. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the services.
