Ila “Ellie” Elwanda Hunter, 79, of Albertville, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Shepherd’s Cove - Hospice of Marshall County.
Services were Sunday, May 4, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alan Lang officiating. Burial followed at Union Grove No. 1 Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Molly Jane Hunter; brother, Sam Gilliland, of Oneonta; sisters-in-law, Helen Gilliland, of Oneonta, and Ruth Gilliland, of Albertville; two great-grandsons and one nephew.

Cleo Barksdale Lindsey, 92, of Crossville, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Services will be today, Tuesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Chris Andrews and Chris Guinn officiating. Burial will follow at Skirum Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Denny (Jane) Lindsey and Roger (Martha) Lindsey, both of Crossville, Donna Andrews, of Geraldine, Debbie Lindsey, of New Orleans, and Bill Kistler and Dewana Lindsey, of Hampton Cove; half-brother, J.B. Barksdale, of Ashville; half-sister, Maggie Kilgore, of Geraldine; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Edgar Haroldo Macal, 51, of Kilpatrick, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Shepherd’s Cove - Hospice of Marshall County.
Services will be today, Tuesday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Reynes Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Macal; children, Edgar H. Macal Jr., Sergio Roman Macal, Christopher Paolo Macal, Wendy Yesenia Galdamez, Yenia Yashibel Macal, Evelyn Corina Macal and Sylvia Beartriz Macal Pantgia; brothers, Mario Montenegro, Rodolfo Macal and Vinicio Montenegro; and sister, Silvia Montenegro.
William Troy Musick
William Troy Musick, 82, of Boaz, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center South.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Boaz.
Services were Monday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel with Brother James Perigo, Brother Mike Johnson and Brother Keith Dodd officiating. Burial followed at Forrest Home Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Bunti and Tim Britt, of Newnan, Ga.; Bobra and Marvin Ball, of Albertville, and Billie and Dan Guerin, of Owens Cross Roads; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Karon Musick, of Boaz; grandchildren, Erin Borchard, Abbie Character, Andrea Barclift, Allyson Burns, Whitney Guerin, Will Guerin, Kayla Musick and Wes Musick; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Shirley Musick, of Sardis City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berniece Musick, and son, William Henry “Buddy” Musick.
Pallbearers were Will Guerin, Justin Butler, Chris Barclift, Jay Borchard, Jeremy Burns and Jeff Chandler.

Kermit W. Norrod, 73, of Boaz, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital.
Services were Monday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Carr-Boaz Chapel Funeral Home with Nelson Smith officiating. Burial followed at Mount Moriah Cemetery
in Fyffe.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Norrod; daughters, Annette Swack, of Fort Payne, and Tabitha (Gene) Cook, of Douglas; sons, Ray Norrod, of Tennessee, Richard (Kristy) Norrod, of Anniston, Robert Norrod, of Texas, Timothy (Stacey) Norrod, of Douglas, and Kevin (Christy) Swack, of Mount Hebron; brothers, Edward Norrod, Bill Norrod and Buddy Norrod, all of Tennessee; sisters, Leda Mae Welch, Linda Brown and Lucy Lewis, all of Tennessee, and Jean Corvett, of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arvel Graves, 93, of Crossville, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Shepherd’s Cove — Hospice of Marshall County.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from American Airlines.
Graveside services will be today, Tuesday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Edward Byars officiating and Harris Funeral Home directing. Visitation will take place today from 1-3 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Maggie Graves; daughter, Susan Thompson, of Redmond, Ore.; sisters, Betty Treadway, of Boaz, and Evelyn Whittington, of Anniston; brothers, Ed Cole, of California, and Joe Cole, of Albertville; and grandchildren, Brian Graves, of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Shannon Toll, of Los Angeles; Angel Sully, of Beaverton, Ore., and Zach Thompson, of Sanford, Fla.
