Services for Ruth Carol Yarbrough will be held Tuesday at noon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Griffin officiating.

Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Yarbrough, 57, of Meridian, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Riley Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Willie James Yarbrough, and her mother, Juanita Chaney, both of Meridian; a daughter, Donna Yarbrough Harbour; two sons, Albert Lorenzo Hopson and his wife, Pat, Willie James Yarbrough Jr. and his wife Gloria, five granddaughters, Brittany Harbour, Tiffany Yarbrough and Donna Alisa Yarbrough, all of Meridian; and Tamisha Hopson and Nicole Hopson, both of Los Angeles; five grandsons, James Harbour, Terrance Harbour, James Yarbrough Jr. and Willie Lorenzo Yarbrough, all of Meridian; and Albert Hopson Jr. of Los Angeles; eight sisters, Ruby Helen Rush and her husband, Phillip, Patricia Newell and her husband, Bobby, Rose Mary Burge and her husband, Charles, Anita Harris and her husband, Jimmy, Latrice Chaney, Torie Chaney and Lorraine Gordon and her husband, Fred, all of Meridian; and Tenia Hill and her husband, Demetrius of Pearl; nine brothers, James Lewis and his wife, Debbie, John Lewis, Billy Lewis, Casey Burge, and Barry Burge, all of Meridian; Demetri Chaney and his wife, Eutiha, of Tupelo; Joe Parker and his wife, Pinky, Teddy Parker and Jerry Parker all of Los Angeles; a loving step-mother, Vera Parker of Los Angeles; five aunts, Betsy Blanks, Carrie Love and Janie Camper, all of Bailey; Lilly D. Floyd and Janet Roberts, both of Racine, Wis.; three uncles, Charlie Parker and Dan Parker Jr., both of Los Angeles; and Johnny Roberts of Racine; two great-uncles, Rufus Wooten and his wife, Gladys, of Shucktown; and Marshall Griffin of Meridian; one great-aunt, Gerdie Wooten of Chicago; her best friend, Helena Clark and her husband, Joe, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

PATRICIA G. SCOTT

Services for Patricia G. Scott will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Scott, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

MOBILE, Ala. Arrangements were incomplete at Pine Crest Funeral Home of Mobile, Ala. for Jane Miller Harding, of Mobile, formerly of Meridian, who died Friday, May 17, 2002, at Mercy Medical Hospital.

DIANE W. WALTERS

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Diane W. Walters, 46, of Meridian, who died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Phillip W. Norris, 45, of Philadelphia, who died Thursday, May 16, 2002, at his home.

INEZ AGENT
Homemaker

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Inez Agent will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel, with the Rev. Danny Purser officiating.

Burial will be in Longino Cemetery in Neshoba County.

Mrs. Agent, 87, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at her home.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Adams of Philadelphia; two sons, James Jerome Agent of Jonesboro, Ark., and Pat Agent of Carthage; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Barrier, Ava Martin and Bobbie Green, all of Philadelphia, and Clarice Erwin of Crystal Springs; and a brother, W.E. "Son" Hancock of Philadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Agent.

ROBERT "BOB" JONES
Hotel employee
Services for Robert "Bob" Jones will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. William Harper officiating.

Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery in Savoy.

Mr. Jones, 55, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, in Killeen, Texas.

He was employed by the Plaza Hotel in Killeen.

Survivors include four brothers, Billy Joe Jones and his wife, Mary E., Ollie Jones and his wife, Eva, Calvin Jones and his wife, Rene, and Lester Jones all of Meridian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

LELA CAROLYN WILLIAMS ROSENBAUM

Services for Lela Carolyn Williams Rosenbaum will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack M. Loflin officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rosenbaum, 72, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Hospice of Central Mississippi in Ridgeland.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was a native of Jackson. She graduated from Central High School in 1948 and Mississippi State College for Women in 1952.

She received a grant from Denver University in librarianship in 1967.

She received a Library Certification from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree in elementary administration from Mississippi State University.

She taught school at Stephenson, St. Patrick's Catholic School and West Hills Elementary in Meridian.

She was a roving resource librarian and traveled to every Meridian public elementary school telling stories to children, teaching library skills, giving book reviews and performing creative dramatics for children to encourage reading. She was a librarian for Chalk School, West Hills, West End and Crestwood elementary schools and Marion Park. She taught school at Lamar Elementary School and became principal in 1975 and remained in that capacity until her retirement.

Mrs. Rosenbaum has served on the boards of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, Meridian Symphony, Mississippi Private School Association and Aldersgate. She has served as an officer in the Meridian Jr. Auxiliary, Mississippi Private School Association, Mississippi Library Association and Aldersgate.

She was a member of the Sigma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.

She taught elementary Sunday school at Central United Methodist Church for 11 years.

Survivors include her mother, Laura Filgo Williams of Jackson; a brother, Charles H. Williams and sister-in-law, Vivian Williams, of Jackson; her children, C.L. "Dutch" Rosenbaum and daughter-in-law, Deborah Magoun Rosenbaum, of Clinton; Laurie Rosenbaum Williams and son-in-law, Bob Williams, of Madison, Charles Lee Rosenbaum and daughter-in-law Angela Owen Rosenbaum of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Neil and Tatum Rosenbaum, and Logan Rosenbaum; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, S.F. "Fletcher" and Addy Rosenbaum, David and Joan Rosenbaum, all of Meridian; and Perry and Kaye Rosenbaum of Gulf Shores, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. "Neil" Rosenbaum of Meridian, and her father, Charles Hal Williams of Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Turner Cassity, David Rosenbaum, Fletcher Rosenbaum, Perry Rosenbaum, Bob Williams and Hal Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joann Dobbins, Sylvia Gilder, Barbara Hall, Norma Sessions, Majel Slade and Betzyl Webb.

Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1706, Meridian, MS 39301; Rex Scholarship Fund/Meridian Community College, c/o Ms. Sue Thompson, 4817 15th Place, Meridian, MS 39305; Lamar Elementary School earmarked for art, library or computer science, 544 Lindley Road, Meridian, MS 39305.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the church.
