Funeral services for Don L. Clements, 69, of Bremen were Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Antioch Baptist Church, Glenn Perdue officiating, with Burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Clements died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Dec. 20, 1933, to Roy and Lilly Mae Crump Clements. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy Roy Clements; a sister, Joyce Clements; and a brother, Charles Maxwell Clements.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie Jean Robbins Clements; two sons, Donald J. (Cindy) Clements of Crane Hill and Charlie (Jan) Clements of Sumiton; a daughter-in-law, Lisia Clements; a brother, Charles Micheal Clements; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was Sunday.
Bob Taylor Glass
Funeral services for Bob Taylor Glass, 95, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, with Burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mr. Glass died Saturday, Nov. 1 in Cullman. He was born Nov. 23, 1907, in Tennessee to George and Florence Ridgeway Glass.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Valanta Thomas Glass of Hanceville; two sons, Ernest Glass of Hanceville and Edsel Glass of Lafayette, Tenn.; a daughter, Alma Ruth Hackney of Plant City, Fla.; a brother, L.J. Glass of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Karmen Helen Phillips
Funeral services for Karmen Helen Phillips, 79, of Walter were Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Tom Williams officiating, with Burial in Duck River Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to Francis and Hazel Kies. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Berman Phillips.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl (Jerry) McCay of Walter and Pamela Phillips of Holly Pond; two sons, Jan (Patsy) Phillips of Walter and Ricky (Sue) Phillips of Michigan; 12 grandchildren, Shawn, Tim, Shannon, Pam, Karmen, Michael, Steven, Ryan, Jessica, Rich, Robbie and Eric; and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Caden, Audrey, Tyrone and Terrance.
Visitation was Sunday.

Mr. Sanford died Sunday, Nov. 2, in Cullman. He was born Jan. 11, 1915, in Mississippi to Martin L. and Alice Lowery Sanford. He was a longtime member of Addington Chapel Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Lorene Sanford; a daughter, Margie Freeman of Cold Springs; two grandchildren, Gaylon (Cindy) Freeman of Trussville and Remona (Ronnie) Earley of Cold Springs; five great-grandchildren, Steven (Melissa) Freeman of Moody, Cheryl (Brian) Milam of Pinson, Jonathan Freeman of Trussville, Jeff Earley and Amy Earley, both of Cold Springs; and a stepgreat-great-granddaughter, Kristin Johnson of Moody.

Worth, Texas and Randy (Candace) McGaughy of Sand Springs, Okla.; two grandchildren, Timothy of Texas and Candace of Oklahoma; two brothers, Larry (Anna) McGaughy of York, Penn.; and Mike (Sheiliah) McGaughy of Ardmore, Tenn.; four sisters, Dianne (David) Bell, Pat (Jerry) Pruitt of Double Springs, Debra (Russell Mullins) McGaughy of Addison and Lynn (Tony) Smith of Nauvoo; 23 nieces and nephews; three uncles; and three aunts. Survivors also includes the Johnny Lee Robins family: six sisters; seven brothers; 30 nieces; and seven nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Don Mitchell of Cullman; parents, John and Nell Higdon of Cullman; a son, Michael (Vickie) Hembree of Athens; two daughters, Dionne Hembree of Cullman and Heather (Sgt. Mrs. Schnupp died Tuesday, Nov. 4 at her residence. She was born June 17, 1909 in Joelton, Tenn. to Alonzo and Anne Armstrong Winters. She was an inspector for Genesco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, the Rev. Luzerene A. Schnupp, former pastor of St. Matthew's Church in Franklin, Tenn.; and a grandson, Rudy Steltemeier III.
Survivors include a son, Fred C. (Florence) Schnupp of Holly Hill, Fla.; a daughter, Ramona (Bill) Steltemeier of Hanceville; and a granddaughter, Katrina Schnupp of Holly Hill, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of the Angels Monastery, 3222 County Road 548, Hanceville, Ala. 35077.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Knights of the Holy Eucharist in Hanceville and Friars of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word, Birmingham.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the church.

Mr. Skinner died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Cullman to Wesley Samuel and Lella Jester Skinner. He was a self-employed carpenter and painter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Thurman Freeman Skinner, Nelson Charlie Skinner, Chester Cleo "C.C." Skinner, Garvis Arlin "G.A." Skinner and Troy Thurman Skinner; and four sisters, Lizzie Rodgers, Maglene Simmons, Dorothy Ransom and Ada Wood.
Survivors include his wife, R. Mae Skinner; two sons, Bobby Joe (Cathy) Skinner and Thomas Edward "Tom" (Diane) Skinner; a daughter, Margaret Ann Bell; two brothers, Burvil "B.W." Skinner and Bueron M. "B.M." (Betty) Skinner; a sister, Beatrice Skinner (Oran) Graves; a sister-in-law, Movalene Brock Skinner; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a brother, Donald Paschal of Cullman; two sisters, Azlee Reynolds of Hanceville and Odell Rudd of Centerville, Tenn.; a nephew; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; and four great-great-nephews.

Mrs. Schaeffel died Tuesday, Nov. 4 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. She was born May 12, 1923 to Arnold and Elizabeth Blette Schaeffel. She was a retired South Central Bell Service representative.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Martha Henke and Marie York; and a brother, John Arnold Schaeffel Sr.
Survivors include a brother, Carl (Beverly) Schaeffel of Arkansas; and a sister, Helen (Les) Clark of California.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Brandon Miles Jones of Cullman; a daughter, Ashley (Jason) Leibensperger of Cullman; her parents, the Rev. Autry and Peggy S. Conn of Cullman; a brother, Robin Autry (Cindy) Conn of Huntsville; a grandson, Jaxon Cole Leibensperger of Cullman; her grandmother, Autha Woods of Cullman; and two nieces, April (Eric) Cochren of Cullman and Alexandria Conn of Huntsville.
