Services for Ralph O. Collins, 68, of Ohatchee will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service.

Mr. Collins died Tuesday at Colonial Pines in Oxford.

Jones

HOBSON CITY

Services for George G. Jones, 53, of Hobson City will be today at 1 p.m. at Anniston Funeral Service. Burial will be in O’Connee Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died Thursday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Jones of Hobson City; two daughters, Christy Moore of Atlanta and Marcia Chatman of Hobson City; three sons, Reginald Jones of Hobson City, Necole Jones of Anniston and Keith King of Colorado; two sisters, Effie Lois Martin of North Carolina and Gloria Jean Moore of Michigan City, Ind.; three brothers, Archie Jones of Michaelville and Tommy Lee Jones and Ray Jones, both of Anniston; and 15 grandchildren.

ASHLAND

Services for Lillie Mae Jones, 90, of Ashland will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Rosser officiating. Burial will be in Clay County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends after 6 tonight until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday at Clay County Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Fultz of Ashland; a son, Rick Jones of Ohatchee; a sister, Mildred Mitchell of Ashland; and two grandchildren, Angie Jones and Alan Jones.

Pallbearers will be Alan Jones, David Belrose, Roger Jones, Bob Fultz, Wade Price and Jerry Pinkston. Honorary pallbearers will be close personal friends, Nobie Mitchell, Dora Dison, Nadine Kennedy, Barbara Hallman and Jeannie Buchanan.

Mrs. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. She was retired from Southland Manufacturing after almost 40 years of service and was a homemaker. She was a Grace Believer. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Jones, and a daughter, Phyllis Jones.

Money

TAYLORSVILLE, Ga.

Services for Johnny Edward Money, 56, of Taylorsville will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home in Centre. Burial will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Money died Monday at Emory-Cartersville Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Cole Money; a son and his wife, Steve and Beth Money of Bagley; a daughter and her husband, Gina and Jack Elam of Bagley; three brothers, Larry Money of Rome, Ga. and David Money and Carl Money, both of Cedar Bluff; five sisters, Dorothy Greene and Gail Massingale, both of Cedar Bluff and Lena Sue Bishop, Becky Cash and Betty Ann Houze, all of Rome, Ga.; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Money was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Samuel Albert and Gerdie Weeks Money. He was a construction worker and a Baptist.

Moody

ROANOKE

Services for Fannie Mae Moody, 82, of Roanoke will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Roanoke with Rev. R.L. Heflin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Service in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. Moody died Sunday at Lafayette Extended Care in Lafayette.

Survivors include two daughters, Beautie Moody White and Tommie L. Watts, both of Cleveland; and two sisters, Jimmie Lou Heard and Grace Ferrell, both of Roanoke.

Services for Hubert Roland, 72, of Anniston will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service.

Mr. Roland died Tuesday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.

Smith

LECTA

Services for Irene W. Smith, 81, of Lecta will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Old Hopewell Baptist Church with Revs. Bobby Garner, James Benefield and Eugene Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Rainwater and West Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.

Mrs. Smith died Tuesday at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Willard Butterworth of Lecta; and two grandchildren, Zach Butterworth and his wife, Sandy, and Cy Butterworth.

Pallbearers will be Hal Wilson, Terry Dean Smith, Phillip Wilson, William Wilson, Gary Snow, Jimmy Vinson, Dr. Mike Gaines and Cris Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. James West and Warren Sarrell, T.J. Preston, Tommy Lee Snow, and former pastors of Old Hopewell Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of Old Hopewell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vachel Smith; and her parents, William A. and Estella Fordham Wilson.

Williams

Alva Welch Williams, 82, of Anniston, formerly of Rome, Ga., died Tuesday at Beverly Health Care Center in Oxford. Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ruth Luttrell and Jennifer Williams, both of Rome; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terrell and Eleanor Ruth Williams of Anniston and Stanley Williams of Iowa City, Iowa; a brother, Rolf Welch of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Rome, Ga., and had lived in Anniston six months. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel P. Williams.

Complete arrangements for Barbara Ann Baldwin, 60, of Roanoke will be announced by Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee. Services will be Tuesday. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baldwin died Sunday at Wedowee Hospital.

Brown

ROANOKE

Funeral services for Ruby Hester Brown, 96, of Roanoke will be 2 p.m. today at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with Rev. Fitz Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Sunday at Brian Center Nursing Care in LaGrange, Ga.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Henry of Roanoke, a sister, Mary Bryan of LaGrange, Ga.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown was a native of Randolph County and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was employed with Handley Mills.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lant and Ella Costley Hester, and her husband, James L. Brown.

Finley

Services for Troy Clifford Finley, 80, of Anniston will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Pate, Gerald Clark and Larry Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Forestlawn Gardens with Chapel Hill Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Finley died Friday at his home.

Survivors include four daughters, Ann Edwards and her husband, Gerald, of Weaver; Gatha Eichelberger and her husband, Gene, of Prattville; Gayle Nowland and her husband, Wille, of Lineville; and Becky Galloway of Weaver; two brothers, Jerry Finley of Saks and Alton Finley of Heflin; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tyrone Edwards, Chris Galloway, Anthony Galloway, Scott Nowland, Roger Nowland, David Nowland and Mike Gaddy.

Mr. Finley was a native of Georgia and had lived in Calhoun County all his life. He was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Co. after 43 years. He was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Finley, and a son, Wayne Finley.
