MARGARET CAMERON

ANNISTON Funeral service for Margaret Cameron, 71, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Funeral Service with the Rev. Charles Bolton officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Cameron died Aug. 17 at Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Anniston and was a member of Greater Calvary Baptist Church. She worked for Stringfellow Memorial Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Hanna.

She is survived by son, Warren Cameron of Anniston; daughter, Sandra Sistrunk of Birmingham; sister, Jesse Thornton of Pheonix, Ariz.; brothers, Willie Pierce and James Pierce of Pheonix, Ariz., and George Pierce of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

LORRETTA DAVIS

ANNISTON Funeral service for Lorretta Davis, 54, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sweet Rock Pure Holiness Church in Oxford with Mozell Elston officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Anniston.

Mrs. Davis died Aug. 18 at Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Wilson. She was a 1967 graduate of Ophelia S. Hill High School and was an employee of Wal-Mart Super Center in Oxford. She was a devoted Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Davis of Anniston; daughters, August E. Davis, Darlett Davis Anderson, Christal D. Moore and Kenesha L. Davis, all of Anniston; sister, Shirley Jean Denson of Oxford; brothers, Jimmy Wilson, Jeffery Wilson, Chester Wilson and Lester Wilson of Anniston; her mother, Clara Bell Wilson of Oxford; and four grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Denson II, Franklin Gooden, Tim Young, Cedric Northara, Marlin Jones and Kobi Davis.

Ervin Funeral Chapel will direct the service.

LOUIS POPE

WELLINGTON Funeral service for Louis Pope, 79, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Anniston with the Rev. Fred Durant officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Anniston.

Mr. Pope died Aug. 18 at Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Wellington.

He is survived by sisters, Eva Mitchell of Rockford, Earline Gorbin of Riley, N.C., Ella McKenzie of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Elizabeth Ann Shephard of New Castle, Pa.; and brothers, Elve Pope of Wellington and James Pope of Sylacauga.

The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

Pallbearers will be Dee Elston, Dee Keith Davis, Tony Robinson, Larry Wilson, Emelean Taylor and Jimmy Montgomery.

Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

HARRY LEE RIGGINS

ANNISTON Funeral service for Harry Lee Riggins, 53, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Carver Community Center in Anniston with Brother Ralph Turner officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Anniston.

Mr. Riggins died Aug. 15 at Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Riggins. He was a lifelong resident of the Anniston area.

He is survived by his wife, Melba Riggins of Anniston; daughters, Tiffany Garrett of Anniston and Kimberly Washington Bledsoe of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Nora McGhee, Willie Jean McMillian, Georgia Ann Burke, Mariah Joshua and Venelsa Jenkins; brothers, Isiah Riggins, Anthony Riggins and Billy Ray Riggins; half-brother, Joseph Jackson; his mother, Carrie Riggins; and four grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at Carver Community Center for one hour before the service.

Ervin Funeral Chapel will direct the service.

GLENN WOODY THOMASON

SYLACAUGA Glenn Woody Thomason, 88, died Aug. 21.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Madden's Funeral Service.

VIOLET N. WALKER

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Violet N. (Tootie) Walker, 66, of 725 Roosevelt St., will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church in Talladega with Samuel Holt officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Ms. Walker died Aug. 19 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. She was a lifelong resident of Talladega County. She was a member of New Life Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lusetta Keith; father, Will Keith; brothers, Milton Keith, Junior Keith, Olen Keith, Samuel Carter, George Ivory Carter and Lennon Carter; and sisters, Lillie Belle Keith, Lucille Lee, Rosie Reaves, Josephine Keith, Maude Swain and Ransie Swain.

She is survived by sons, Walter Tanner, Lewis Tanner and Fred Warwick III of Talladega; daughters, Carolyn Lawson, Joyce Curry, Allison Lindsey, Glenda Crowe and Wanda Warwick of Talladega and Gwen Gajadhar of Georgia; sister, Margaret Lee of Gadsden; brothers, Otis Downer of Florida, Joel Carter Detroit, Mich., and George A. Carter of Sylacauga; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Friends of the family will serve as flowerbearers and pallbearers.

The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

Childersburg Mortuary Service will direct the service.

ANGELENE AUSTIN BARNES

BIRMINGHAM Funeral service for Angelene Austin Barnes, 67, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church East Thomas.

Mrs. Barnes died Aug. 19. She was a member of First Baptist Church East Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Barnes; daughters, June Wood and Sharon Jones; sisters, Josephine McElrath and Sally Mitchell; brother, the Rev. James W. Austin; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Bushelon Funeral Home will direct the service.

ELEANORA HAMPTON

JACKSONVILLE Eleanora Hampton, 64, died Aug. 21 at Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service.

ALEXANDER CITY Mary Emma Ransaw, 88, died Aug. 22 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wright's Funeral Home.

MICHAEL EVERETT WILLOUGHBY

PELL CITY Graveside service for infant Michael Everett Willoughby will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Cook Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Parker officiating.

Infant Willoughby died Aug. 20 at University Hospital.

He is survived by his parents, Kim and Gale Willoughby of Cook Springs; grandparents, J.R and Thelda Willoughby of Madison, Fla., and Thelma Andrews and Charles Stover of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; brothers, Charles Beebe and Terry Beebe of Cook Springs and David Willoughby of Madison, Fla.; sisters, Christina Beebe and Kala Willoughby of Cook Springs and several aunts and uncles.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.
