NELL REEVES CARPENTER
DE ARMANVILLE — Funeral service for Nell Reeves Carpenter, 82, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roland Brown and Dr. Doyce Nolan officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Lineville City Cemetery
Mrs. Carpenter died Nov. 29 at her residence. She was a member of East 22 Street Baptist Church and was a former member of De Armanville Baptist Church. She was retired from Calhoun County Board of Education, where she taught in the De Armanville School System for 32 years.
She is survived by son, the Rev. Larry Carpenter; daughter, Nellwyn Blackmon; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour before the service.
Pallbearers will be Carl Carpenter, Adrian Carpenter, David Carpenter, Matthew Blackmon, Frank M. Turner Sr. and James Blair.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to AL Baptist Childrens Home, 1130 Woodstock Avenue, Anniston, Ala., 36207.
Miller Funeral Home will direct the service.
ANNISTON — Sammy Chatman, 44, died Nov. 28 at Regional Medical Center.

DORIS OSBORNE FULLER
LINEVILLE — Funeral service for Doris Osborne Fuller, 88, was Monday at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with the Rev. Herbert Gray officiating. Burial was in Lineville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Fuller died Nov. 29 at Lineville Health and Rehab. She was a native of Clay County, lived in Birmingham for 54 years and was a retired bookkeeper and lunchroom manager at Rocky Ridge Grammar School in the Rocky Ridge community. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Fuller; her parents, Yancy Davis and Jessie Clementine Waller Osborne and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville directed the service.
LINEVILLE — Funeral service for Wayne Graben, 56, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lineville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Colquett and Dr. Wayne Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Craven died Nov. 30 at Clay County Hospital. He was a native of Talladega County, was a former resident of Birmingham and had lived in Clay County since 1968. He retired from Ace Products after 28 years of service, was co-owner of Anne's Day Care in Lineville for the past nine years and was a member of Lineville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Burris Graben.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Cook Graben of Lineville; sons, Michael Graben of Jacksonville, David Graben of Nashville and Stephen Graben of Munford; his father, Clemon Graben of Lineville; brother, Carl Graben of Kimberly; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Shaddix, Walt Wilkins, Kenneth Rush, Jeff Kinder, Allen Ogles, Ricky Graben, Billy Watkins and Ralph McVey.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and until service time on Wednesday.

EDWIN RAY JONES
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Edwin Ray Jones will be held in Tyler, Texas.
Mr. Jones died Nov. 29. He was born in Tyler, Texas, on June 20, 1925. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy on the USS Tennessee. He lived in Alabama 53 years and retired from E.I. DuPont Company. He was a member of Victory Christian Center in Pell City.
He is survived by daughters, Anna Christine (George) Lyles of Mobile and Kay J. (Paul) Brooks of Birmingham; grandchildren, Melinda Leigh (Mitch) Burke of Summerdale, Michelle (Wade) Page of Suwanee, Ga., Stephanie (Jerome) Kay of Birmingham, Kris E. (Jennifer) Brooks of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Zakary Kay, Amber Burke, Kristian and Cori Page and Mackenzie Brooks; his previous spouse, Willie M. Jones of Birmingham; brother, Sam W. Jones of Columbus, Miss.; and cousins in Texas.

ISAAC HILTON MILLER
ASHLAND — Funeral service for Isaac Hilton Miller, 82, was Monday at Clay County Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Miller, E.E. Miller and the Rev. Pat Hurst officiating. Burial was in Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Miller died Nov. 29 at Clay County Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was retired from the Anniston Army Depot, where he worked as a mechanic for 30 years. He served in the United States Navy from 1947 until 1949 and was a member of Good Hope Delta Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James John Miller Sr. and Exer Jane Miller; sisters, Flossie Mitchell and Nonnie Miller; and brothers, Gaston Miller, R.C. Miller and J.J. Miller Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Kathernell Miller of Delta; daughter, Racine Waddell of Alexandria; sons, Donald Miller and David Miller of Delta; sister, Solena Knowles of Slocomb; brother, E.E. Miller of De Armanville; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Doyle Miller, Shelby Miller, Mickey Miller, Standford (Rusty) Miller, Glenn Miller, Noah Knowles, Ricky Jones and Roger Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Guy Fuller, Bobby Miller, Keith Miller, Gregory Stephens and nephews.
Clay County Funeral Home directed the service.
FRANCES ELAINE OLIVER
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Frances Elaine Oliver, 66, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home South chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliver died Dec. 1 at her residence. She was a Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Frank A. Oliver Sr. of Childersburg; son, Frank Allen Oliver Jr. of Sylacauga; daughters, Caprece Clinton and Lori Chandler of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Jamie McEwen of Sylacauga, Aaron Chandler of Sylacauga, Jamie Isabell of Sylacauga, Brandy Brasher of Chelsea, Tiara Chandler of Sylacauga and Leslie Oliver of Sylacauga; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Friday, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

MACON, Ga. — Mary T. Smith, 86, died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery

Mrs. Smith was the widow of the late Rudolph G. Smith and was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Turner. Born in Eastaboga, Alabama, was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Alabama and attended Huntington College in Alabama. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a Charter Member of Riverside United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Harold Beatty Sunday School Class. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and an honorary member of the Administrative Board of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Perry Smith and Richard Smith, both of Macon; one daughter, Mary Ann Charles of Marietta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Richard Smith of Smyrna, Georgia, Andrew Smith of Rossville, Georgia, Mary Allison Hobby of Macon and Virginia Ann Charles of Marietta; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Gracie Hobby, both of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Ernest Euel Sullivan, 74, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Bobby Parker and the Rev. Ronnie Cheatwood officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan died Nov. 30.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Wakefield Sullivan; daughter, Patsy S. Smith (Doug); sons, Dale Sullivan (Karen) and Robert Sullivan (Melanie); and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don Edge, Jim Trott, Dennis Bowman, Earl Smith, Eddie Smith and Kenny Owen.
