DAISY MAGLINE CAMPBELL

WATTSVILLE Funeral service for Daisy Magline Campbell, 90, will be Thursday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Johnny Cook and the Rev. Allen Bain officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Campbell died June 8 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Wattsville and was a member of Wattsville Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter, Ima J. Crump of Wattsville; grandchildren, Alan Crump (Claudia) of Wattsville and Cindy Allen (Kenny) of Valdosta, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Crump of Wattsville, Krista Gray of Macon, Ga., and Charley Gray of Valdosta, Ga.

Pallbearers will be David Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Emrs Dale Campbell, Sam Crump and Jason Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Pope, Tandy Payne and Jack Jr. Isbell.

Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

ANDREW W. McCLAY

CROPWELL Funeral service for Andrew W. McClay, 82, will be Friday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Matthew Brennan officiating. Burial will be in Valley Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mr. McClay died June 8. He retired from Moodys Investor Services as vice president and national sales manager in New York, N.Y. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Trudi McClay; daughter, Mary Beth (Micky) Zielinski and husband Ron; grandchildren, Kathryn (Katie) Zielinski, Cindy (Mark) Coyle and Liesa (John) Burke; and great-grandchildren, Henry Coyle and Andrew W. Burke.

Vigil will be held Thursday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Social Concerns or to Lakeside Hospice of Pell City.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

ROOSEVELT McELRATH

SYLACAUGA Roosevelt McElrath, 69, died June 9 at Citizens BMC.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Madden's Funeral Service.

CORINE MILTON

OHATCHEE Corine Milton, 92, died June 8 at her residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service.

INFANT ROBERSON

LEEDS Graveside service for Infant Roberson will be Friday, June 11, at 1 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.

The infant died June 1. The infant was preceded in death by grandfathers, James H. Roberson III and Dr. H. Kenneth Dillon.

The infant is survived by parents, James H. (Jay) and Kelli Roberson of Leeds; sister, Mary Allison Roberson; brother, Parker Roberson; grandparents, Anita Dillon of Gardendale, Joe and Charline Parker of Childersburg; great-grandparents, Addie Mae Roberson of Leeds, Lucille Parker of Childersburg, Charles Hardin of Childersburg and William and Gertrude Reno; aunts and uncles, Holly and Wes Talley of Hoover, Andy Dillon of Gardendale, Vanessa and James Webber of Sylacauga; cousins, Luke and Jack Talley and Trenton Webber.

Jefferson Memorial Trussville will direct the service.

BOBBY ROLAND

SYLACAUGA Bobby Roland, 59, died June 9 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel.

JAMES THRASH

SYLACAUGA Funeral service for James "Pete" Thrash, 75, will be Saturday, June 12, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga.

Mr. Thrash died June 9 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Thrash. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by daughters, Trish Weldon of Sylacauga, Patty Collier of Sylacauga and Donna Botticello of Sylacauga; sons, Glenn Thrash of Alabaster and Kevin Thrash of Alpine; brothers, Billy Joe Thrash of Sylacauga and Samuel Thrash of Mississippi; sisters, Violet Sims of Childersburg and Wilma Gilliland of Sylacauga; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Duncan, Joey Ogle, Brad Campbell, Rodney Brown, Keith Wilson and Luther Lutz.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga will direct the service.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN GARRETT JR.

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Benjamin Franklin Garrett Jr., 64, of 24 Jordan Lane, will be Wednesday, June 16, at noon at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. George Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Garrett Memorial Gardens in Pell City.

Mr. Garrett died June 9 at his residence. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he served as secretary of the Male Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Franklin Garrett Sr., and five sisters. He was formerly employed by B&K Iron Works and Brasfield and Gorrie Construction Company. He attended Briar Field School and St. Clair County Training School. He was a former member of Beavers Pride Lodge No. 710 of the Free and Accepted Masons and was a volunteer with the Stemley Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Mittie Lawson Garrett of Talladega; daughters, Mary V. Smith, Barbara F. Williams and Teresa Garrett of Talladega, Fannie R. Baker of Jacksonville, Fla., Aretha L. Garrett of Seoul, Korea, and Quenella L. Garrett of Ft. Irwin, Calif.; sons, Willie E. Garrett, Gregory P. Garrett, Michael Weatherspoon, James Bradford Jr. and Frederick Weatherspoon of Talladega and Benjamin F. Garrett III of Douglasville, Ga.; his mother, Ollie M. Garrett of Pell City; sisters, Ada M. McConnell, Nellie A. Posey, Betty J. Davis and A. Lois Embry of Pell City, Willie K. Young, Glean D. Walker and Frances E. Garrett of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, John R. Garrett and Charlie C. Garrett Sr. of Los Angeles, Calif., Lee O. Garrett of Omaha, Neb., and Arnold L. Garrett of Pell City; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.

FLETCHER ANN BURTON

DADEVILLE Fletcher Ann Burton died June 13 at her residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Armour's Memorial Funeral Home.

JOHN DEXTER CAMP, R.Ph.

FAYETTEVILLE Graveside service for John Dexter Camp, R.Ph., 69, will be Wednesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Pugh officiating.

Mr. Camp died June 13 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Cora Camp; brother, Dr. Charles Camp; and sisters, Vivian King and Frances Camp. He was a native of Coosa County and graduated from Sylacauga High School. He served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. He was a member of First Baptist Church and graduated from Howard College (now Samford University) with a degree in Pharmacy. After graduation, he was the owner of Doctors Center Apothecary in Birmingham as well as owner of Sylacauga Apothecary. He was in the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association and Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Association. He was an active member of Coosa Valley Scottish Rite Lodge No. 929 in Sylacauga and served as president for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Camp of Fayetteville; daughters, Robin Justice of Sylacauga, Wren Greene of Birmingham and Jaye Bobbitt of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; brothers, Joe Camp of Alexander City and Wilkie Camp, R.Ph. of Birmingham; and sisters, Marion Embry, R.N. of Stewartville, Isabel Waites, R.N. of Birmingham and Josephine Davis, R.N. of Montgomery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be J.M. Waites, Harry Embry, Alan Waites, Hank Camp, Art Davis, John Alan King and Bill Camp.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Hematology and Oncology Association of Alabama, 291 James Payton Boulevard, Sylacauga, Ala., 35150.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.

JUDY GAIL HOLLINGSWORTH

SYLACAUGA Funeral service for Judy Gail Hollingsworth, 54, will be Thursday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Tony McGrady officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hollingsworth died June 14 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair. She was preceded in death by brother, Donnie Mizzell; father, Eural E. Mizzell; mother, Billie Wayne Mizzell; and sister-in-law, Wanda Casey.

She is survived by her husband, J.R. Hollingsworth of Sylacauga; sons, James David Davenport and wife Samantha of Sylacauga, Johnny Shane Hollingsworth of Sylacauga and Steven Ray Hollingsworth of Sylacauga; one brother, Jackie Ray Mizzell and wife Tonya of Washington, D.D.; grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Davenport, Cristian Nichole Hollingsworth, Jacob Thomas Hollingsworth, Hunter Dawn Hollingsworth and John Luke Hollingsworth; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Elaine Dodson and husband James of Birmingham, Lisa Hollingsworth and husband J.P. of Birmingham, Marie Trewitt of Birmingham, Libby Kersey and husband Jerry of Chelsea and Bud Casey of Attalla; and nieces and nephews, John Dodson, Dwayne Dodson, Autume Kersey, Tisha Payne, Josh Mizzell, Jessica Hollingsworth, Jordon Hollingsworth, Damon Trewitt and Rehana Trewitt.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Wilhite, Johnny R. Jennings, Frank Mizzell, Shane Hollingsworth, Brian Rayfield, Bob Jackson, Dwayne Dodson and James Dodson.

MILDRED JOHNSON

HOBSON CITY Mildred Johnson, 74, died June 12.
