THOMAS O'NEAL

SYLACAUGA Thomas O'Neal, 81, died Nov. 1.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga.

BEREDITA R. WAITES

PELL CITY Beredita R. Waites, 37, died Nov. 1.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City.

WALTER WHITSON

TALLADEGA Walter Whitson, 86, of 106 Riddle Lane, died Oct. 31 at Talladega Health Care Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary.

GERALDINE LANE WOODARD

EASTABOGA Funeral service for Geraldine Lane Woodard, of 195 Grandview Drive, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. John E. Russell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Woodard died Oct. 28 at her residence. She was a member of Pine Grove Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as president of the Missionary and was a member of the choir. She was a graduate of Ophelia S. Hill High School in Munford and was employed by Anniston Sportswear.

She is survived by one stepdaughter, Beatrice Woodard of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two sons, Christopher Lane and Chann F. Woodard of Eastaboga; three sisters, Lyzonial Wilson, Juanita Johnson and Gloria Elston of Eastaboga; three brothers, James Lane and Ernest Lane of Eastaboga and Sherman Lane of Lincoln; and three grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Easy Riders will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.

SETH LEE MILLER

TALLADEGA Funeral service for Seth Lee Miller, 18, of 504 Heath St., will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Paul and the Rev. Jeff Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Miller died Friday in Chambers County. A native and lifelong resident of Talladega, he was a member of First Baptist Church and also attended Grace Community Church at Stockdale, where he was very active in the music program. He was a 2002 graduate of Talladega High School, where he lettered in all sports. He was attending Southern Union State Junior College on a baseball scholarship, and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Mock of Talladega; his father, Allen Miller of Talladega; a sister and brother-in-law, Meredith and Scott Smith of Talladega; one nephew, Daniel Braden Smith of Talladega; a grandmother, Judy Mock of Talladega; his grandparents, Ray and Mary Ann Miller of Talladega; and three great-grandmothers, Eloise Burgess, Myrtis Mock and Jewell Miller, all of Talladega.

Active pallbearers will be David White, Chris Freeman, Chad Jones, Brandon Endress, Shay Jones, Matthew Carr, Jason Peters and Jarred Hanner. Honorary pallbearers will be the Talladega 2001, 2002 football and baseball teams and coaches and the Southern Union baseball team and coaches.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.

WESLEY RAMSEY

PELL CITY Funeral service for Wesley Ramsey, 18, of Pell City, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Eden New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Ramsey and the Rev. Paul Brasher officiating. Burial will be in Eden New Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Ramsey died Friday. A lifelong resident of Pell City and 2002 graduate of Pell City High School, he was very active in Pell City youth baseball programs growing up. He was on the 1992 Pell City team that won the state championship, and played all four years at Pell City High School, where he was awarded a Most Valuable Player Award and pitched two no-hitters. Following graduation, he won a baseball scholarship to Southern Union State Community College. He attended Eden New Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Cathy Ramsey of Pell City; his brother, Cory Ramsey of Pell City; his grandparents, Hansel and Sybil Ramsey, Bill and Stella Barker, and Faye and Hobart Colley, all of Pell City; his great-grandmother, Audrey Wright of Pell City; a niece and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Eden New Hope Baptist Church.

Kilgroe Funeral Home Pell City will direct the service.

LOUIS COLEY

ALEXANDER CITY Funeral service for Louis Coley, 87, of Alexander City, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Ridge Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Elam Number One Cemetery.

Mr. Coley died Monday at Brown Nursing Home.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Coley of Alexander City; three sons, Earlie B. Coley of Birmingham, Roy Lee Coley and Donald Coley, both of Alexander City; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Wright's Funeral Home will direct the service.

JAMES CARL McCAIG

LINCOLN Funeral service for James Carl McCaig, 77, of 500 Kathryn Drive, Lincoln, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel with James Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.

Mr. McCaig died Saturday at Baptist Medical Center Montclair. A native of Blytheville, Ark., he was a resident of Lincoln most of his life. He was a retired space engineer with NASA and owner of the River Beach Mobile Home Park. He was a member of Greenbriar Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tere Jancsek and a son, Jim McCaig.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie S. McCaig of Lincoln; one daughter, Mindy J. McCaig of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Chip Jancsek of Lincoln, Andrew Jancsek of Tuscaloosa, Elizabeth McCaig of Lincoln, Katie McCaig of Birmingham and Trey McCaig of Birmingham; five sisters, Retha Dees of Birmingham, Eloise Benson of Stephens, Ark., Jean Nunnelley of Anniston, Bobbie Vaughn of Anniston and Patsy Brittan of North Forth Myres, Fla.

Active pallbearers will be Rick Armstrong, Barry Armstrong, Roy McCaig, Scott Roberson, Keith Roberson, and Fred Nunnelley III.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home.

The family will accept flowers or donations to the American Cancer Society.

Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.

THOMAS CLUSTER O'NEAL

SYLACAUGA Funeral service for Thomas Cluster O'Neal, 81, of Sylacauga, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Todd Reaves of Mignon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, with full military honors.

Mr. O'Neal died Friday in Sylacauga. A veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, he was married for 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Earlene O'Neal of Sylacauga; two sons, Thomas Cluster O'Neal Junior of Ocala, Fla., and Michael Thomas O'Neal of Sylacauga; three daughters, Jerry Deloris Edgington of Atlanta, Peggy Ann Sweat of Sylacauga and Angela Dee Johnson of Sylacauga; three step-sons, Jeffrey Holmes Krehbiel of Hamilton, Ohio; Timothy Earl Krehbiel of Chesapeake, Va.; and Alan Clay Krehbiel of Hamilton; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Active pallbearers will be Michael O'Neal, Alex Johnson, Ray Mauldin, Ronnie Mauldin, Gregg Phillips and Joey Horton.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.

WILLIE LEE DUNCAN

GOODWATER Funeral service for Willie Lee Duncan, 70, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kingston Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Duncan died Oct. 31 at Goodwater Nursing Home.

He is survived by two sisters, Dessie Garrett of Alpine and Addie Morris of Sylacauga; brothers, Joe Cephus Duncan of Alpine and Hamp Duncan of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of other relatives.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Sims Funeral Service will direct the service.

DEALER MAE PARKER

GAINESVILLE, Fla. Funeral service for Dealer Mae Parker, 80, will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Church of God by Faith in Bronson, Fla. Burial will be in the Jim Milton Cemetery.

Ms. Parker died Oct. 31 at Ayers Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville. She was an Alabama native but had lived in Florida most of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Sweetie Parker Thomas of Bronson, Fla., Della Parker Jones of Talladega and Eura Evans of Dothan; sons, Eddie Parker, William Parker and LeTroy Parker of Bronson, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Duncan Brothers Funeral Home in Gainesville, Fla., will direct the service.
