McCullough

TALLADEGA

Services for Johnnie Ceburn McCullough, 31, of Talladega, formerly of San Diego, Calif., will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Cleveland Baptist Church with Revs. Jerry Jones, James Nix, Stanley Threatt and Manuell Smith officiating. Burial will be in New Maryland Church Cemetery with Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.

Mr. McCullough died Sunday in Montgomery.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Janee' McCullough of Richmond, Calif.; his parents, Rev. Johnnie McCullough of Talladega and Mary Lee Newman of San Diego; a sister, Meyoshe Yvette Newman of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Johnnie Lionel McCullough; his grandmother, Oleta Hurd of Clarksville, Texas; and his fiancée, Sheron Ford.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. McCullough was a member of Mt. Cleveland Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Russell Corporation in Alexander City and was employed by the Winn Dixie Corporation in Montgomery.

McLeroy

HEFLIN

Services for James Ira McLeroy, 56, of Heflin will be today at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Revs. Wayne Woods and Steve Dempsey officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. McLeroy died Sunday at University Hospital in Birmingham.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara McLeroy of Heflin; three daughters, Amanda McLeroy of Anniston, Joanna Lipham of Oxford and Donna Vingers of Heflin; a brother, Don McLeroy of Oxford, and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Campbell, B.F. Coefield, Darrell Hammonds, Michael Morrison, Dwayne Snow, Danny Sprayberry and Fred Young.

Mr. McLeroy was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and was retired from the United Parcel Service in Oxford. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Services for Don Ponder of Anniston will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.

Mr. Ponder died Tuesday at his home.

Reese

CENTRE

Services for Jennie V. Reese, 78, of Centre will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Christian Church with Gerald Wright and Cedric Williams officiating. Burial will be in Howell Cemetery with Perry Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.

Mrs. Reese died Sunday at Cherokee County Nursing Home.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Lee and Dale Reese of Cedar Bluff, Roy C. and Shirley Reese Sr. of Centre and Jerry Reese of New York; a daughter, Lebal Howard of New York; two brothers, Joe Stubbs of Rome, Ga. and John Floyd Stubs of New York; a sister, Idmae Leeks of Cleveland, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Mrs. Reese was a native of Cherokee County and a member of Full Gospel Church. She was retired from Centre Manufacturing Co. and was preceded in death by her husband, Horace W. Reese.

Services for Marvin E. Stovall Jr., 70, of Anniston will be announced by Anniston Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Stovall died Tuesday.

Wynn

CENTRE

Services for Dorothy Mae Wynn, 72, of Centre will be today at 11 a.m. at Perry Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Green and Rev. Leslie Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Wynn died Monday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, James Wynn of Centre; two daughters and a son-in-law, Belynda and Claude Johnson and Susan Hightower, all of Centre; a son and his wife, Charles and Rebecca Wynn of Centre; her stepmother, Evelyn Peeler of Homerville, Ga.; three sisters, Myrtie Johnston of Jacksonville, Ruth Morrison of Piedmont and Sybil Griffis of Homerville; five brothers, Carl Morrison of Piedmont, Roy Dale Morrison and Mack Morrison, both of Waycross, Ga., Jimmy Morrison of Homerville and Gary Morrison of Kingsland, Ga.; four grandchildren, Jamey Johnson, Chad Wynn, Julie Graves and Morgan Hightower; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Wynn, Paul Wynn, Jacob Graves, Claudia Graves, Rachael Coffey, Logan Blandrain and Carmen Jenkins, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Johnson, Chad Wynn, Jake Graves, Claude Johnson, Jackie Pope and Donnie Pope.

Mrs. Wynn was native of Cherokee County and was a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mamie Campbell Morrison.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the church of your choice.

Albea

TALLADEGA

Services for Albert Percy Albea of Talladega will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be in Nances Creek Cemetery in White Plains with Miller Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends today from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Albea died Saturday at Citizens Hospital in Talladega.

Survivors include three daughters, Sylvia Shurbutt of Oxford, Susan Golden of Pell City and Debby Bain of Talladega; two sisters, Ella Lee Parris of Florida and Ludie Lanie of Tennessee; a brother, Harvey Albea of Anniston; three grandchildren, Sherry Pugh, Chad Adams and Stacy Medders; three great-grandchildren, Daron Adams, Kristin Pugh and Cody Pugh, and a great-great-grandchild, Dylan Pugh.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Golden, Lewis Reynolds, Chad Adams, George Medders, Mac London and Danny Cargal.

Mr. Albea had lived most of his life in the Bynum area, and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Albea, and a grandson, Shane Grizzard.

Boone

Services for Betty Dempsey Boone, 72, of Anniston will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with pastor Jerry Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boone died Friday at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Boone of Anniston; a daughter, Robin Renei Boone of Anniston; an uncle, William Ross Allen, an aunt, Helen Randall and five cousins.

Pallbearers will be Orie Knowlton, Todd Knowlton, Will Knowlton, Johnny Bentley, R.C. Bryant and Danny Freeman.

Mrs. Boone was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was a member of Harvest Church of God. She was an Anniston High School graduate and had been employed by General Electric Corp. and Coleman's Department Store. She also had served as a pink lady for Regional Medical Center and was a model.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Countryside Hospice, 1419 Leighton Ave., Anniston, 36207, or to the ladies ministry of Harvest Church of God, 520 Golden Springs Road., Anniston, 36207.

Bradsher

ROANOKE

Graveside services for Earl Gentry Bradsher Sr., 70, of Roanoke will be today at 2 p.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery with the Revs. Tex Ergle and Don Quick officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Bradsher died Friday at Randolph Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Huey Bradsher of Roanoke; a son, Earl Bradsher Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; a stepson, Charles Cato of Montgomery; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Ed Thomas of Reidsville, N.C.; an aunt, Helen Wilkins of Sanford, N.C.; a niece and a nephew.

Pallbearers will be Bob Hester, Joe Huey, Ricky McKinley, Don Gross, Charles Huey and James Hurley.

A former Montgomery resident, Mr. Bradsher was a native of North Carolina. He was a self-employed hearse and limo dealer and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Roanoke. He was preceded in death by a son, James Bradsher.

Dearman

LINCOLN

Services for Linda Hill Dearman, 53, of Lincoln will be today at 2 p.m. at Munford Church of Christ with Richard O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford with Usrey Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Dearman died Thursday at Atlanta General Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Cramer Dearman of Lincoln; four sons, David Hill of Munford, Brian Hill of Lincoln, Chris Hill and his wife, Carla, of Talladega, and Stephen Hill and his wife, Gail of Talladega; a sister, Denise Ginn Ellison of Oxford; three brothers, Rickey Lackey of Oxford, Johnny Frank of Lincoln and Barry Lackey of Pell City; her mother, Elise Scott and her husband, Tony, of Lincoln; her stepmother, Luverne Lackey of Pell City; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Smith, Greg Morgan, Owen Lackey, David Larry Barton, Melvyn Ponder, Ted Lackey, Tim Lackey and Justin Lackey.

Mrs. Dearman was a native of Talladega County and lived there most of her life. She was a member of Munford Church of Christ and a former employee of Baptist Medical Center in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Lackey.
