Services for William George Keyes, 73, of Jacksonville, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father William Lucas officiating. Burial will be at Fort Benning, Ga., with K.L Brown Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Keyes died Saturday at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Keyes of Jacksonville; four daughters, Laura L. Keyes of Chamblee, Ga., Lynn Duke of Lewisville, Texas, Lisa McGuire and her husband, Michael W. McGuire, of Jacksonville and Laine Wrann and her husband, John Wrann, of Ft. Hood, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Ashley N. McGuire, Ryan P. McGuire, Mallory L. McGuire, Tyler W. Duke Hannah L. Duke, John A. Wrann, Conner J. Wrann and Lauren M. Wrann.

Mr. Keyes was a native of Springfield, Mass. and resident of Calhoun County for many years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Keyes of Ayer, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of East Alabama, 818 Leighton Ave., Suite A, Anniston, AL 36207.

Services for Jamee Charlene Lehr, 37, of Jacksonville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dogwood Trails Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Ms. Lehr died Sunday at Baptist Montclair Hospital in Birmingham.

Services for James Samuel Martin, 51, of Oxford, will be 2 p.m. today at Usrey Chapel with Revs. Harold Payne and Wayne Eden officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The body will be at the chapel one hour prior to services.

Martin died Friday at his residence.

Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Smith of Munford and Lisa Johnson of Newsite; one brother, Jerry Martin of Talladega; one sister, Louise Atkisson of Georgia; and three grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Jellisa Smith, and Autumn Smith.

Pallbearers will be Mike Smith, Tommy Smith, Dennis Smith, Jackie Smith, Mike Gilmore and Larry Gilmore.

Mr. Martin was a native of Talladega County and lived in Oxford most of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Matson; his father, Omer Martin and a brother, Omer "Bit" Martin, Jr.

Services for Ernest S. Oliver, 90, of Oxford, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Pell City. Visitation will be 5-7 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Oliver died Sunday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Oliver of Oxford, a stepson, Don Dailey of Trussville; a daughter, Mary Evelyn Stephens of Oxford; two stepdaughters, Sara Wise of Centre and Patsey Pierce of Oxford; and one grandson, Darryl Stephens.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Mr. Oliver was a native of St. Clair County and an Oxford resident for 36 years. He was a member of East 22nd Street Baptist Church in Anniston and was a retired security guard.

Graveside services for Hugh E. Phillips, 63, of Piedmont will be 3 p.m. today at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Ward officiating and Mickelson McGee Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends noon-3 p.m. today.

Mr. Phillips died Friday at Gadsden Regional.

Survivors include his companion of 14 years, Lassie Kennedy.

Services for Mary Jean Barber Phillips, 64, of Pinson, formerly of Pell City and Leeds, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Ford in charge. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Phillips died Saturday in Pinson.

Survivors include three daughters, Cedria E. King of Phoenix, Ariz., Lexie P. Stephens of Pinson and Sue P. Ezell of Birmingham; a son, Harley Phillips of Ragland; a brother, Alvin N. Barber, Jr. of Riverside; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Phillips was a native of Birmingham and a resident of Pinson for the last eight years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Roebuck.

Services for Marcus Anthony Pugh, 17, of Wellborn, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Memorial Baptist Church with Revs. Billy Kitchens and Tim Thomas and Scott Peavey officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens, with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends 4-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Pugh died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Donita McElroy and Kenneth McElroy of Anniston; a brother and his wife, Walter Johnson and his wife, Bethany, of Eastaboga; a grandmother, Rhoda Smith of Anniston; an aunt, Sandra Farmer of Anniston; an uncle, Mickey Pugh of Anniston and a niece, Alexus Johnson of Eastaboga.

Pallbearers will be Scott Farmer, Kyle Bright, Chris Mitchell, B.J. Ralph, Dustin McClelland and Harley Tipton.

Mr. Pugh was a native and lifelong resident of Wellborn and a junior at Wellborn High School, where he was active in football and baseball. He is preceded in death by his father, Garry Pugh and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Pugh and Donald Templeton.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Wellborn athletics, in care of Wellborn High School.

Services for Thomas Kenneth Ansley, 87, of Talladega will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Revs. Charlie Bolt and Paul Gilbreth and Bufrey Dean officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Ansley died Monday at Talladega Health Care Center.

Survivors include his wife, Lavella Ansley of Talladega; a son, Morris Ansley of Sylacauga; two brothers, Frank Ansley of Talladega and Glen Ansley of Florida, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Waites, Wren Waites, Tim McKay, Ted White, Jerry Ansley, Jason Walker, Woodie White and Gene Gilliand. Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Jimmy Davis and Clay Davis.

Mr. Ansley was a native of Talladega County, where he lived most of his life. He was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Clay County, where he served as outside deacon. He was retired from Talladega Aluminum Pattern Inc. and had attended Cherry Street Church of God for 14 years.

Graveside services for William C. Couch, 80, of Pensacola will be Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends October 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Chapel South in Pensacola.

Mr. Couch died Monday.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dave Maresca of Pensacola, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Couch was born in Ashland. He was an Army veteran and had worked as a policeman in several Alabama cities.

Services for Johnnie Ruth Hines Glover of Jacksonville will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church in Ohio with Bishop Dr. Johnnie L. Johnson and Samuel Young officiating. Burial will be in Landmark Memorial Cemetery with Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Glover died Dec. 5.

Survivors include a son and his wife, John T. and Tina Mae Glover Sr. of Forest Park, Ohio; a sister, Jean Fennell of Sacramento, Calif., nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Glover; a sister, Louise Jelks; and a brother, Clarence Jelks.

Services for Louie James Grindle, 76, of Centre were Monday at 7 p.m. at Centre Memorial Chapel. Revs. J.L. Stanley and Mark Green officiated. Graveside services will be today at 10 a.m. at Cherokee Memory Gardens.

Mr. Grindle died Sunday at his home.

Survivors include four sons, Billy Grindle and James Grindle, both of Anniston, Larry Grindle of Centre and Jeff Grindle of Panama City, Fla.; a daughter, Judy Grindle of Anniston, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
