JACKSONVILLE

Services for Clark Smith, 52, of Jacksonville will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service.

Mr. Smith died Wednesday at his home.

TALLADEGA

Services for Jewell L. Bullock will be announced by Miller Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bullock died Sunday at Citizens Hospital in Talladega.

WADLEY

Services for Mary Emma Gay of Wadley will be announced by Quattlebaum Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gay died Sunday at the Florence Hand Nursing Home in LaGrange, Ga.

Huff

Services for George Reader Huff, 85, of Anniston will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown & Kughn Memory Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Huff died Saturday in Anniston.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

McGinnis

Services for Charles V. McGinnis, 92, of Anniston will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Parker Memorial Baptist Church with Drs. Billy L. Harris and Charles Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery with Gray Brown- Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge Masonic honors. The family will receive friends today 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McGinnis died Saturday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Sam McGinnis of Anniston; two daughters and their husbands, Patsy M. and Harvey Love of Birmingham and Rose Marie and Jim Dougherty of Griffin, Ga.; three grandchildren, Cindy Yukich, Sherri Washburn, Todd Love and Chris Love; and four great-grandchildren, Jonathan Yukich, Brooke Yukich, Mallory Washburn and Lindsey Washburn.

Pallbearers will be Todd Love, Chris Love, Jonathan Yukich, Ed Lindsay, Raymond Lindsay and Earl Lindsay.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Baraca Sunday school class of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #443 of Anniston.

Mr. McGinnis was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a deacon of Parker Memorial Baptist Church where he was a member of the Baraca Sunday school class. He was the owner and operator of Charlie's Coal & Transfer Company and a member of Masonic Lodge #443 of Anniston.

Mosher

Services for Francis C. Mosher, 82, of Anniston, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Mosher died Sunday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Deloras Crawford of Glencoe; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis and Pamela Mosher of Glencoe and Daryl Mosher of Hokes Bluff; a sister, Esther Burleigh of New York; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Timmons, Tommy Monroe, Mark Whitley, Edward Mosher, Johnny Mosher and Dwayne Yancey.

Mr. Mosher was a native of New York but had been a resident of Calhoun County for most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War and retired from Fort McClellan after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Saks Baptist Church.

Mr. Mosher was preceded in death by his wife Jewell Mosher.

Shealy

JACKSONVILLE

Services for Alex Shealy, 96, of Jacksonville will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Jacksonville Church of God with Rev. Danny Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory today 7-9 p.m.

Mr. Shealy died Saturday at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lowell and Christel Shealy of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Randy Shealy of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Tony Shealy, Kay Brown and Melanie Raulerson; five great-grandchildren, Blake Shealy, Brooke Shealy, Natalie Raulerson, Derek Raulerson and Justin Johnson; and one great-great-grandchild, Brooke Raulerson.

Pallbearers will be Tony Shealy, Blake Shealy, Justin Johnson and Derek Raulerson.

Mr. Shealy was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Jacksonville for 70 years. He was a plumber and a member of the Jacksonville Church of God for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Shealy; a daughter, Juline Brown; a granddaughter, Denise Shealy and a daughter-in-law, Ann Shealy.

Services for Virginia Rainey Smith, 68, of Talladega, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Usrey Chapel with Rev. Roger Young officiating.

Mrs. Smith died Sunday at her home.

Survivors include five daughters, Martha Malone and her husband, Roy, of Munford, Carra S. Strickland and her husband, Thomas, of Lincoln, and Becky Smith, Mary Fowler and Charlotte Jean Golden, all of Talladega; a daughter-in-law, Pam Smith of Talladega; four sons, David Smith and his wife, Tara, of Blowing Rock, N.C., James E. Smith of Townsend, Mt., Eddie Paul Smith and Phillip Smith, both of Talladega; a mother, Minnie Rainey of Munford; two sisters, Patsy Smith of Wedowee and Peggy Beck of Munford; and four brothers, Wayne Rainey of Eastaboga, Doug Rainey of Virginia, Jimmy Rainey and James Rainey, both of Munford.

Pallbearers will be Terry Fowler, Jeff Snider, Andy Fowler, Donald Beck, Johnny Frank, Adam Beck, Howard Bussie and Wallace Bussie.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Zach Smith, Joe Smith, Jon Smith, Austin Malone, Christopher Strickland, Jeremy Fowler, Anthony Fowler, Patrick Smith, Thomas Grant Smith, Jake Smith, Roy "Shug" Lathem and Ed Dunnaway.

Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of the East Providence Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lathan Grant Smith, Sr.; two sons, Kenneth Smith and Lathan Grant Smith, Jr.; and a daughter, Patsy Gurley.

Services for Charles P. "Chuck" Stewart, 74, of Piedmont will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends today 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Stewart died Sunday in Huntsville.

Williams

Services for Dain Kamper Williams, 85, of Anniston will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Fitzhugh officiating. A memorial service will also be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Canterbury United Methodist Church Chapel in Birmingham with Rev. Sam Williamson officiating. Gray Brown- Service Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Williams died Saturday at Mt. Royal Towers.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Niena Williams and Charles Franklin Goodwin and Nancy Williams and Lawrence Hugh Hollingsworth, all of Birmingham, five grandchildren, Kathryn Goodwin Byrd, Julie Goodwin, Jennifer Goodwin Schmidt, Mary Dain Hollingsworth and Ann Holllingsworth; and two great-grandsons.

Pallbearers will be William C. Byrd, John Nathan Schmidt, G. Coke Williams, Jr., James Chiles Williams, Fred W. Williams, Jr. and James T. Potter.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Meridian, Miss., but lived in Anniston most of her life. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Grace Episcopal Church.

LINCOLN

Graveside services for Jewell B. Bullock of Lincoln will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Moore officiating and Miller Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home in Oxford.

Mrs. Bullock died Sunday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Joe Bullock of Eastaboga and Carthell Bullock and Louis Bullock, both of Lincoln; two daughters, Alice Hopper of Lincoln and Pat Tate of Huntsville; a brother, Charles Bedwell of Gadsden; a sister, Ruth Davis of Anniston, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bullock; two sons, James E. Bullock Jr. and Rudolph Bullock; and a grandchild, David Hopper.

Graveside services for Mary Emma "Big Mama" Gay, 86, of Wadley will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wadley Cemetery with Rev. Ted Embry officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home in Roanoke.

Mrs. Gay died Sunday at Florence Hand Nursing Home in LaGrange, Ga.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Becky and Donald M. Brown of Wadley; a grandchild and her husband, Donna Brown Meadows and Leslie Meadows; and two great-grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Meadows and Andrew Gaines Meadows.

Mrs. Gay was a lifelong resident of Wadley and was the co-owner of Gay's Craft House and Service Station. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wadley. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gaines Gay; her parents, Reuben B. and Ola Wilkins Cotney; two brothers, Rufus Cotney and John Walter Cotney; and two sisters, Lavern Prater and Carrie F. Cotney.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 361767, Birmingham, AL 35236; or the Wadley Cemetery Trust Fund.
