Quick

OXFORD

Services for Annie Cleo Quick, 88, of Oxford will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church with Revs. Buford Gay, Norris Wade, Buck Greenwood and James M. Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge.
The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Quick died Monday at her home.

Survivors include a son, Billy Mack Quick; eight grandchildren, Rev. James M. Phillips, Rodney Phillips, Darrel Phillips, Anthony M. Phillips, Michelle Thornell, Selena Wilkerson, Poochie Johnson and Kelly Watson, 12 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Oswalt, James M. Phillips II, Mark Wilkerson, Ladale Johnson, Harvey Reavey and Ricky Watson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry McClellan, Shoco Shears and the Sunday School Class of Hopeful Baptist Church.

Mrs. Quick was the oldest member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mac Quick; a daughter, Bobbie Jo Milam; a son, Danny Joe Quick; and her parents, Robert and Fannie Waugh.

Shealy

JACKSONVILLE

Services for Alex Shealy, 96, of Jacksonville were Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Jacksonville Church of God. Rev. Danny Jeffers officiated.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery with K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in charge.

Mr. Shealy died Saturday at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lowell and Christel Shealy of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Randy Shealy of Jacksonville; a sister, Savannah Parris of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Tony Shealy, Kay Brown and Melanie Raulerson; five great-grandchildren, Blake Shealy, Brooke Shealy, Natalie Raulerson, Derek Raulerson and Justin Johnson; and a great-great-grandchild, Brooke Raulerson.

Pallbearers were Tony Shealy, Blake Shealy, Justin Johnson and Derek Raulerson.

Mr. Shealy was a native of Cleburne County and had lived in Jacksonville 70 years.
He was a plumber and a member of Jacksonville Church of God for 63 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Shealy; a daughter, Juline Brown; a grandchild, Denise Shealy and a daughter-in-law, Ann Shealy.

Stine

LINCOLN

Services for Annie Eva Stine, 87, of Lincoln will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Blue Eye Baptist Church in Lincoln with Revs. Ronnie Chapman and Daniel Bentley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Talladega Funeral Home in charge.
The family will receive friends 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stine died Monday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

Survivors include three daughters, Bettye Jo Bullock and Jackie S. Crump, both of Lincoln and Ginger Hemesley of Alexandria, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bullock, Joshua Bullock, Ray Crump, Tim Crump, Michael Graham and Barry Gauldin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Johnson and James Hemesley.

Mrs. Stine was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County.
She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and was retired from Citizens Baptist Medical Center.

Services for Doris Stockdale, 71, of Anniston will be announced by Ervin Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Stockdale died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center.

Workman

LINEVILLE

Services for Sara Elaine Workman, 83, of Lineville, formerly of Roanoke, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Tommy Gene Young and S.T. Janney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge.
The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
The family will receive friends after 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Workman died Monday at Clay County Hospital in Ashland.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Crenshaw of Woodland and Sandra Wynn of Prattville; a son, Bobby Workman of Roopville; a sister, Sue Johnson of Roanoke, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law.

Ms. Workman was a native of Randolph County and was the daughter of Warner William and Elsie Owens Brown.
She had been employed in the textile industry and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

LINCOLN

Services for L.C. Gaston, 71, of Lincoln will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Cave Spring Baptist Church with Revs. Ronnie C. Beavers and Jessie L. Mincey officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary in charge.
The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.

Mr. Gaston died Friday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.

Survivors include a daughter, Lenora Gaston of Lincoln; a son, Harry Gaston of Birmingham; five sisters, Pauline Cook, Mary Smoot Anderson, Betty Jones, Peggy Daniels and Ethel Lee Gaston, all of Springfield, Ohio; six stepsisters, Diane Stockdale, Doris Stockdale and Carolyn Stockdale, all of Lincoln, Jane Caldwell and Darlene Stockdale, both of Talladega and Katrine Stockdale of Tuscaloosa; two brothers, Roy Gaston of Lincoln and James Gaston of Scottsboro; two stepbrothers, Alphonso Stockdale of Talladega and Lee Stockdale of Tuscaloosa; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. Gaston was a member and superintendent of the Sunday school at Cave Spring Baptist Church.
He was retired from the Rock Quarry in Glencoe after 30 years of service.

Graveside services for Hilda S. Graham, 84, of Oxford will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pedricktown Cemetery in Pedricktown, N.J.
The family will receive friends 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at Ashcraft Funeral Home in Penns Grove, N.J. Miller Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Graham died Monday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Graham; a son and his wife, Robert B. and Ellen S. Graham of Fayetteville, N.C.; a daughter, Patricia A. Graham of Bynum; and a grandchild, Allyson Michelle Graham.

Pallbearers will be George Graham, Mike Hiltebrand, Adam Gagliardi, Frank O'Hagan, Earl Graham and Robert C. Lee.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to a favorite charity.

ROSHOLT, S.D.

Services for Esther LeClair, 82, of Rosholt were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt. Rev. Wendell Kopperud officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Lutheran Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. LeClair died Friday at a Sisseton hospital.

Survivors include her companion, Ray Pomploon; 10 children and their spouses, Dorothy and Glen Schafte of Washoughal, Wash., Dale and Darlene LeClair of Battleground, Wash., Lyle and Mary LeClair of Anniston, Roy and Fay LeClair of Tea, S.D., Ray and Nancy LeClair of St. Paul, Minn., Linda and Rodney Sand of Rosholt, S.D., Lonnie and Marsha LeClair of Fridley, Minn., Dennis and Alice LeClair of Plymouth, Minn., Janette and Nick Brandenburger of Rosholt and Robert LeClair of Wahperon, N.D.; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Ruth Olson; a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Clifford Pearson of Rosholt; a brother-in-law, LeRoy Meyer; 17 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike LeClair, Dan LeClair, Neil LeClair, Steven LeClair, Bradley LeClair, Patrick LeClair, Brent LeClair, John Eneboe and Gary Schafte. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters.

Mrs. LeClair was born in Rosholt and was the daughter of the late Gust and Alwine Meister Zastrow. She was a member of St. Joseph Lutheran Church in Rosholt. She was preceded in death by her husband, George LeClair; a son, Billy LeClair; a brother, Edward Zastrow; and a sister, Elsie Meyer.

Memorial services for Patty Randall, 69, of Piedmont will be tonight at 6 at St. Joachim in Gadsden with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Randall of Piedmont; three daughters, Bonnie Kunkz of Ohio, Cathy Gill of Michigan and Rebecca Shouck of Alaska; three sons, Ron Randall of Ohio, Jeff Randall of Rhode Island and Tony Randall of California; two sisters, Nancie Bennett of Italy and Diania Bennett of South Carolina; a brother, William Bennett of Michigan; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services for James Herman Reed, 76, of Collinsville, formerly of Centre, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Revs. Joe Higginbotham and Sammy Stabler and Dr. Lewis Archer officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed died Monday at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Dees Bobo Reed; a son and his wife, Joe Allen and Emily Reed of Sylvania; two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie and Don Coley and Sharon Fortenberry, all of Centre; three stepsons and their wives, Jack Bobo of Collinsville, Tommy and Debbie Bobo of Sylvester, Ga. and Jeff and Tonita Bobo of Huntsville; a brother and his wife, Sam and Tola Reed of Hokes Bluff; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reed was a native of Cherokee County and a member of Centre First United Methodist Church. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the 179th Infantry B Company, 45th Division. He was retired from Republic Steel.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Centre First Methodist Church.
