Cazy C. “Bobby” Smith
Cazy C. “Bobby” Smith, age 89, a resident of De Queen, AR died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the De Queen Medical Center.
He was born September 6, 1921 in Dierks, AR. He was a Baptist and a logger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Rae Smith on September 15, 2007 his parents, Dan W. and Emmie Harris Smith, one sister and five brothers.
Mr. Smith is survived by one son, Charlie Ray(Judy) Smith of De Queen; one daughter, Bobbie Jean Jones of El Dorado, AR; two grandchildren, Ken Jones (Benita) of El Dorado, and Cindy Smith of De Queen; three great-grandchildren, Molly Jones, Will Jones and Triston Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Smith will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Belleville Cemetery
in Lockesburg, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
John Amos “Jack” Ridenour
Mr. John Amos “Jack” Ridenour, age 72, a resident of Lockesburg, died Friday, October 15th at his home.
He was born to Leslie Hughes and Violet Louise Eaton Ridenour at Mountainburg, Arkansas, on January 4, 1938. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U. S. Navy. He was a former employee of the City of Lockesburg, and a Baptist. He enjoyed reading, and playing games, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy, and his second wife, Betty, a son, Keith Walker, and a daughter, Arline Icenhower.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Pogue Cunningham Ridenour of Lockesburg, four daughters, and sons-in-law, Nicki and Brandon Humphrey of Foreman, Diane and Chris Teehee of Ben Lomond, Kathy and Raymond Vallee of Ashdown, And Brenda and Edmond Lewis of Lockesburg, a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Wendy Walker of Lockesburg, three brothers, Melvin Eugene Ridenour of Prineville, Oregon, Billy Joe Ridenour of Elma, Washington, and Donald Ray Ridenour of Prineville, Oregon, one sister, Louise Koehn of Prineville, Oregon, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jack Ridenour are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 18th in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Daisy, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday, October 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Altha White
Mrs. Altha White, age 86, a resident of De Queen, died Saturday, October 9th at De Queen Medical Center, De Queen.
She was born to James Ollie and Lela Ellen Holland Solomon on May 29, 1924, at Waldron, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, and had worked for the Rubber Corporation of Arkansas, and Fred’s Discount Store. She was a Baptist, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Ione Hart, Lucille Bransford, and Clara Adkins.
She is survived by her husband of over 67 years, Quinton H. White of De Queen, a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Michael James and Elaine White of Mahomet, Illinois, a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Dr. Frank Farkas of Rowlett, Texas, four grandchildren, Thomas White and Charles White both Mahomet, Ill., Christina, and her husband, Brian Mackey of Allen, Texas, and David and his wife, Gina Farkas of Stephenville, Texas, two great-grandchildren, Connor and Ethan Mackey of Allen, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Altha White are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 14th in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Daisy, Ark, with Bro. George Frachiseur officiating.
Charles Archer Tutt
Mr. Charles Archer Tutt, age 79, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the Brookwood Nursing and Rehab in De Queen.
He was born August 19, 1931 in De Queen. Charles was a former accountant for Dr. Pepper Co. in Dallas, Texas; he was a rancher, a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the First United Methodist Church in De Queen.
Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Louise Keith Tutt on October 26, 2000; his parents, Homer and Barbara Wright Tutt; a son, Charles Tutt and a brother James Tutt.
He is survived by his wife, Lavonne Johnson Mullins Tutt of De Queen; one son, Steven Tutt of Rockwall, Texas; one sister, Frances Reid of Hot Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brian, Kristen, James and Alex Tutt; two great grandchildren; three step- children, eight step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Mr. Tutt will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in the Chapel Hill Cemetery
near De Queen with Rev. David Williams officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in De Queen.
Bloomis “Bill” Willis
Mr. Bloomis “Bill” Willis, age 86, a resident of Surprise, Arizona passed away at his home on October 6, 2010, of a lengthy illness.
He was born May 13, 1924 in Howard County, Arkansas. During his full life, Bloomis held a variety of positions: he served in the United States Marine Corps in the South Pacific Theater on Saipan and Tinian during World War II; he was a horticulturist in the Yakima Valley of Washington State; and he was a truck driver for Watson Brothers and Yellow Freight Lines for more than thirty years. Bloomis was also a rancher in Madison County, Arkansas since 1961 and he was a member of the Huntsville, Arkansas VFW Post 10021.
Bloomis was preceded in death by his parents, William Andrew and Gertrude Chambers Willis; and his daughter Marsha.
Bloomis is survived by his wife, Clara, and sons, Brent and Brad; grandsons Brad Willis, Jr., Derrick Willis and Zachary Willis all of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughter Jennifer Irwin, great granddaughter Sophia Irwin and great grandson Sam Irwin all of Columbia, Illinois; two brothers, George Bearden of Forum, Arkansas and Amon Bearden of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Willie May Rollins of Lubbock; daughter-in-law, Lonetta Smith Willis and sisters-in-law, Verda Johnson and Paula Anderson and their families.
Funeral Services for Mr. Willis will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in the Mountain View Baptist Church in Umpire, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery
under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Isauro Lopez Sanchez
Mr. Isauro Lopez Sanchez, age 96, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 09, 2010, in the Christus St. Michael Health System.
He was born in Ixcamilpa De Gro Puebla, Mexico to Vicente and Sacramento Sanchez Lopez on May 14, 1914. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and a retired farmer and rancher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings, his children, Balberto Lopez, Esteban Lopez, Victorina Lopez, and two infant daughters.
He is survived by his wife of over 66 years, Delfina Alcocer Vidal Lopez of De Queen, Five sons and daughters-in-law, Juan Lopez of Mexico, Francisco and Senorina Lopez, Vicente Lopez, Dionicio and Jackline Lopez, all of De Queen, and Eladio and Lisa Lopez of Nashville, Ark.; four daughters, Balbina Lopez of Mexico, Eusebia Lopez, Alberta Lopez, And Ambrosia Lopez all of De Queen, 79 grandchildren, 141 great-grandchildren, and A number of great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass for Mr. Lopez Sanchez will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 11th in the St. Barbara’s Catholic Church with Father Jose Orellana officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. A Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, October 10th in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
Lena Rose (McFarland) Lacefield
Mrs. Lena Rose (McFarland) Lacefield, age 89, a resident of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at her home.
She was born December 6, 1920 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She was a retired employee of Red River Army Depot and she was a Christian.
Mrs. Lacefield was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jane (Fults) McFarland; her husband, Lloyd Lee Lacefield on February 15, 1989 and a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara and (Larry) Hamilton of Queen City, Texas, Brenda Miles of Texarkana and Wanda and (Herbert) Coburn of Texarkana; a sister-in-law Mildred Lambeth of De Queen, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lacefield will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with Pastor Reggie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery
in De Queen.
Pauline Stegall
Mrs. Pauline Stegall, age 78, a resident of Lockesburg, AR died Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana.
She was born March 1, 1932 in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stegall was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Annie Box.
She is survived by her husband, Dillard Stegall; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Kathy Stegall and Terry and Elayne Stegall, all of Lockesburg; her grandchildren, Larry Stegall, Jr. of Lockesburg, Mickie and Wayne McWhorter of Lockesburg, Robin and Chris Gauldin of Foreman, AR, and J.J. Stegall of Lockesburg; her great-grandchildren, Kris McWhorter and Layne McWhorter, both of Lockesburg, Hannah Gauldin, Noah Gauldin, and Lane Gauldin, all of Foreman.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stegall will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the Rock Hill Baptist Church with Charles Jones and John Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Belleville Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Lisa Heidi Heck Cornell
Mrs. Lisa Heidi Heck Cornell, age 46, a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Saturday, October 2nd from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
She was born in Papillion, Nebraska, on May 14, 1964, to Nicholas and Hilda Grumbolski Heck. She was a homemaker, as well as a partner of Cornell Plumbing, Bossier City, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Cornell, Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana, one son, Michael J. Lee of Shreveport, Louisiana, two daughters, Alicia K. Lee of Mena, Arkansas; and Jessica Lee of Shreveport, Louisiana; two sisters, Nancy Heck, and Ingrid Heck both of Apache Junction, Arizona.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Sacramento Salgado Hernandez
Mr. Sacramento Salgado Hernandez, age 74, a resident of De Queen, AR died Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX.
He was born January 10, 1936 in Santa Lucia, Guerrero, Mexico. He worked for Pilgrims Pride and was a member of the St. Barbara Catholic Church.
Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his wife, Francisca Aguilar Hernandez on January 19, 2003.
He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Amado Hernandez, Eleuterio (Josefina) Hernandez, and Armando (Misty) Hernandez, all of De Queen, Pantaleon (Biatriz) Hernandez and Adalmiro Hernandez, both of Mexico; two brothers, Margarito Hernandez and Mario Hernandez, both of Mexico; two sisters, Estela Hernandez and Isabel Hernandez of Mexico; his grandchildren, Junior Hernandez, Aubrey Hernandez, Andrew Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, Lesly Hernandez, and Lindsey Hernandez, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Hernandez will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in the St. Barbara Catholic Church with Father Jose Orellana officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5th in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel.
Viewing will be held Monday and Tuesday.
