Lois Dean McAnelly Huston

Mrs. Lois Dean McAnelly Huston, age 78, of De Queen, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the De Queen Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 3, 1934 in Dierks, Arkansas and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Huston was preceded in death by her husband, William Frederick Huston; parents, Harmon Edgar and Dessie Agnes Shelton McAnelly; a son Randy Huston and two grandsons, Seth and Christopher Huston.

She is survived by three sons; David Huston of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Steven Huston of Perryton, Texas, Michael Huston of Cartwright; three daughters, Cheryl Huston of De Queen, Susy McGuffin of Horatio, Arkansas and Kathy Parr of De Queen; one brother, Weldon McAnelly of Shreveport, Louisiana; four sisters, Patsy Cox of Broken Bow, Alice Stubbs of De Queen, Sybil Melancon of Timpson, Texas and Linda DeHart of Ashdown, Arkansas; eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Huston will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 in the Redmen Cemetery with Rev. Shane Haarmeyer officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Dorothy Lou Little Igo

Mrs. Dorothy Lou Little Igo, age 74, of Wickes, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the De Queen Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 27, 1937 in New Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Wickes, Arkansas..

Mrs. Igo was preceded in death by her parents, James and Josephine N. Lindsey Little; two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Igo; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Joseph Frank Clemmons of Seattle, Washington, Donna and Fred M. Gammon of De Queen, Arkansas, Jennifer and Travis W. McNeal of Foreman, Arkansas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Dean Igo and Sharon of Port Angeles, Washington and Walter Igo, Jr. and Claudia of El Paso, Texas; three sisters, Ethel Halston, Laverne Cole and Sally Williamson; three brothers, James, Edward and Charlie Little; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services are pending

A meal will be served at Fred and Donna Gammon’s home after the service.

Marvin Dale Schmidt

Mr. Marvin Dale Schmidt, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Christus St. Michaels Health System in Texarkana.

He was born August 02, 1931 in Audubon, Iowa. Mr. Schmidt was in agricultural sales and enjoyed wood working. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He was the recipient of two bronze stars and he was a Lutheran

Mr. Schmidt was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Janell Rogers Schmidt; daughter, Bonnell Davis; parents, Ricard and Alma Nissen Schmidt; brother, Maynard Schmidt; and sister, Deanna Carr.

He is survived by his two sons, Craig Schmidt of Omaha, Nebraska and Brian Schmidt of Carroll, Iowa; two daughters, Lawanda Knighten and Lynnell Cleghorn both of Foreman; sister and brother-in-law, Lela and Rich Gleason of Audubon, twenty-three grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services are pending.

Keith Gene May

Mr. Keith Gene May, age 52, of De Queen, Arkansas, died Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas..

He was born June 15, 1959 in Ashdown, Arkansas and he was a truck driver.

Mr. May was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe May and his twin brother Kenny May.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Melton May; his mother, Shirley Lee and his mother-in-law, Rosalee Melton both of De Queen, Arkansas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jo and Duck Gauldin, Mary Beth and Jamie Heath, all of Foreman, Arkansas and Laurie and Jim Melton of De Queen; his grandmother, Lou Ella Lancaster of Magnolia, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Corene May of De Queen and a brother-in law, Roger Melton of De Queen; several nieces nephews cousins and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. May will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in the Mt. Ida Cemetery with Tony Bob Ray officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday June 4, 2012 at the funeral

Imogene LeForce

Ms. Imogene LeForce, age 72, was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on September 4, 1939, to Albert and Julia Ann Maxey LeForce. She passed into her heavenly fathers hands on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Christus St. Michaels in Texarkana Texas. She treasured her relationship with the Lord and was blessed to know and love him.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the fathers of her children, Warren N. “Bo” Willis of Eagletown, OK and James T. Procell, Sr of De Queen, AR, two brothers, Ed R. LeForce and his wife Bonnie J. Willis LeForce of Idabel, OK, Bob Leforce and his wife Vida Lou Earnhart Leforce of Oraville, CA, one sister, Martha LeForce Willis and her husband Roy M. Willis of Eagletown, OK, and a sister-in-law Joy Bernice Castle LeForce of Discovery Bay, CA.
She is survived by her children, Michael W. Willis of Eagletown, OK, Lloyd E. Willis, of Horatio, AR, Busta Lenn Willis of Alleene, AR, Phyllis Procell Daigle and her husband Brian of Jacksonville, AR, and James T. “JimBo” Procell, Jr and his wife Trudy of Idabel, OK. Her grandchildren Amanda G. Willis Foor and her husband Joey of Montross, VA, Kyle Willis of Eagletown, OK, Joshua R. Daigle and Stephanie M. Daigle of Jacksonville AR, and Nicholas J. Procell, Danielle Bouchard and Alex Labrador of Idabel, OK. Her great grandchildren Allyson G. Foor and Scarlett R. Foor of Montross, VA, Sophie Willis of Eagletown, OK and a number of nieces and nephews who she treasured.

She survived by three brothers, C.V. LeForce of Brentwood, CA, Carl E. LeForce and his wife Sue of Idabel, OK, Earl A. LeForce and his wife Kathy of Horatio, AR. Three sisters, Dorothy LeForce McDaniel and her husband Cecil of Catoosa, OK, Sue LeForce Tipton and her husband Dale of Claremore, OK and Mildred LeForce of Rancho Mirage, CA.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She helped raise her younger siblings after the death of her mother in 1949. Our mother was loved by all who crossed her path. She loved her family and friends and especially enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, cooking, sewing and crafting. If you went to her house and you left hungry it was your own fault and if she knew you were coming, she would prepare your favorite dish. She was a retired Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in Idabel, OK and loved her border collie “Oreo”.

She will be missed by her family who enjoyed her unconditional love and all those who ever ate one of her home cooked meals, enjoyed her southern hospitality, her birthday cards or special gifts.

Visitation Information:
Ms. LeForce service will be handled under the direction of Norwood-Nation Funeral Home of Idabel, OK followed by burial in Broken Bow Memorial Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK. Please join her family in visitation on Friday, June 1, 2012, from 6 – 8:p.m. and her service on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Norwood-Nation Funeral Home Idabel OK.
In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation in her name to the Animal Rescue Kennel, (ARK).

Ona Lee Gauldin

Mrs. Ona Lee Gauldin, age 91, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas died Monday, May 28, 2012 in the Little River Nursing and Rehab Center in Ashdown, Arkansas.

She was born April 23, 1921 in Ben Lomond, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a Christian.

Mrs. Gauldin was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Lucy Mae Whitney Pond and her husband, Calvin Ernest Gauldin.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Amos and Beverly Gauldin, "Duck" and Jo Gauldin, J.L. Gauldin, and David and Tina Gauldin, all of Foreman; one daughter and son-in-law, Patsie and Bill Matthews of Alexandria, Louisiana; one brother, Cecil Pond of Foreman; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Gauldin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 in the First Baptist Church in Foreman with Bro. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31st at the funeral home.

Edward Gene Gabbard

Mr. Edward Gene Gabbard, age 69, a resident of Brownstown, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his home.

He was born February 26, 1943 in Ben Lomond, Arkansas. He was a welder and construction worker, a US Navy veteran and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death his father, Albert E. Gabbard.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Trusley Gabbard; his mother, Dorothy B. Ricks of Brownstown; three children, Barbara Jones of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Christy Deprofio of Minden, Massachusetts and John P. Gabbard of San Bernardino, California; one brother, Jerry R. Gabbard of Huntsville, Texas; one sister, Janice Coon of New Diana, Texas and a number of grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arranged by Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Juanita Frances Tollett Pannell

Mrs. Juanita Frances Tollett Pannell, age 87, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas died Saturday, May 26, 2012 in De Queen, Arkansas.

She was born August 8, 1924 in Lockesburg, Arkansas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Pannell.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Pannell of Lockesburg, Arkansas and Luther Samuel Pannell, Jr. of De Queen; one daughter, Connie Pannell of Horatio; two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

There are no services.
