Mr. Aubrey Andrew Sims
Mr. Aubrey Andrew Sims, age 81, a resident of Ashdown, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in Ashdown.
He was born July 21, 1932 in Horatio, Arkansas. He was a retired logger.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Martha Sims; one daughter, Ronda Lynn Sims; two brothers, Pete Sims and J.C. Sims and one sister, Clara Lee Williamson.
He is survived by one daughter, Audrey Benefield; three sons, Melvin Jay Sims, Mark Randall Sims and Ross Wayne Sims all of Horatio; two sisters, Martha Lou Westbrooks of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Letha Langford of Baytown, Texas; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, in the Clear Creek Cemetery
in Horatio, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 23rd at the funeral home.
Ronda Lynn Sims
Ronda Lynn Sims, age 49, a resident of Ashdown, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Ashdown.
She was born March 23, 1964 in De Queen, Arkansas. She was a truck driver. She was preceded in death her parents, Aubrey Andrew and Bertha Louise Rowton Sims.
She is survived by one sister, Audrey Benefield; three brothers, Melvin Jay Sims, Mark Randall Sims and Ross Wayne Sims all of Horatio; and a number of aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, in the Clear Creek Cemetery
in Horatio, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 23rd at the funeral home.
David Edward Lynch
Mr. David Edward Lynch, age 92, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in De Queen.
He was born July 15, 1921 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. He was a Mason and civil servant at North Island Naval Station in San Diego, California. He survived Pearl Harbor while serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II and also served in Korea.
Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Ada Edwards Lynch; and his wife, Louella Mae Spencer Lynch.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Dona Lynch of Fernley, Nevada; two grandsons, Daniel Lynch of Fernley, Nevada and Jeffry Lynch of Alameda, California and three great-grandsons, Otto and Bren Lynch of Fernley, Nevada and Ryan Lynch of Alameda, California.
Private Family services will be held at a later date.

Judith Daniella Price
Judith Daniella Price, age 62, a resident of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in Texarkana.
She was born June 24, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an Licensed Vocational Nurse and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Thomas Hallisey V and one daughter, Elizabeth Danette Price.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Shawna McAdams of Texarkana, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Emerson of Fouke, Arkansas; her mother, Hilda Mae Hallisey of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Daniel Thomas Hallisey VI and wife, Sherry Hallisey of Wake Village, Texas and Joel Michael Hallisey and wife Carol Hallisey of Atlanta, Georgia; and three grandchildren, April Butler, Winter Emerson and Daniel Emerson.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the Campground Cemetery
near Winthrop with Winston Dossett officiating.
Windell Clyde Cox
Windell Clyde Cox, age 80, a resident of the Green’s Chapel Community near Dierks, Arkansas, died Monday, August 19, 2013, in Dierks.
He was born October 31, 1932, in the Green’s Chapel Community to Troy and Elsie Cox. He was a retired payroll clerk with Weyerhaeuser, a member of the Green’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and a
Korean War Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Cox of Green’s Chapel; one son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Amy Cox of Green’s Chapel; one grandson, Zane Cox of Green’s Chapel; one brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and Barbara Cox of Bedford, Texas; one niece and nephew-in-law, Charlie and Karen “Cox” Powell of Bedford, Texas; three great-nephews, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Cox will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 in the Green’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Robert Lyons and Jerry Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Green’s Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22nd at the funeral home in Dierks.

Mrs. Margie Mae Morris Fisk
Mrs. Margie Mae Morris Fisk, age 78, a resident of De Queen, died Saturday, August 17th at her home.
She was born to Chester Carl and Nettie Mae Ruth Morris in King, Arkansas, on August 27, 1934. She was a member of the Free Holiness Church, and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, canning, cooking, quilting, and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jim Morris.
She is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Ralph Fisk of De Queen, two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Diann Fisk of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Dale and Lisa Fisk of Lockesburg, a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Roy Stover of De Queen, five grandchildren, Bradley Fisk and Tonya Runnels of Little Rock, Ark., Ashlee Fisk and Logan Fisk both of Lockesburg, and Derek and his wife, Tiffany Sullivan of Grannis, two great-grandchildren, Parker Sullivan of Grannis, and Shaylee Runnels of Little Rock, a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Wilma Morris of De Queen, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Margie Fisk will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 19th in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Don Weeks and Bro. Ray Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Ida Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
James Gregory “Greg” Lane
James Gregory “Greg” Lane, age 55, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, formerly of Grannis, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 in Tahlequah.
He was born June 5, 1958 in Abilene, Texas to the late Clift C. Lane and Dorothy Parsons Lane. He was a processing line supervisor in the poultry industry for D.A.R.P. Processing and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Victorious Life Church and was a loving father, grandfather, son, cousin and a friend to all who met him. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beasley-Wood Chapel with Brother Robert Lott and Brother Scott Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in Grannis Cemetery
under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Clint Lane, Blaine Higgins, Howard Bagley, Gary Bagley, LaVoy White, and Robert Whitten. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Martin, Randall Martin, Mike Salem, and Addison Epstein.
Marvin Lee Billingsley
Mr. Marvin Lee Billingsley, age 83, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas, died Thursday, August 15, 2013, at his home.
He was born November 26, 1929, in Sanford, Texas. He was a mechanic for John Deere and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mr. Billingsley was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur A. and Elmyra Lee Billingsley; five brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Billingsley; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Terry Buhr; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Jeannie Billingsley, Kendall and Donna Billingsley and Duane and Lisa Billingsley; one brother, Elvin Billingsley; one sister, Ella Mae Hilton; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Billingsley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Jerry Brazeal officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Elizabeth Anne Williams Bunyard
Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Williams Bunyard, age 84, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at her home.
She was born March 4, 1929 in Wink, Texas. She was a graduate of Acorn High School. She worked for the De Queen Telephone Company, De Queen City Hall and KDQN radio station and was a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen.
Mrs. Bunyard was preceded in death by her parents, Conley “Doc” and Lyda Elliott Williams; her husband, Jack Wallace Bunyard; one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Teresa Bunyard of De Queen, Jon and Sonia Bunyard of De Queen, and Joel and Melinda Bunyard of Farmington, Arkansas; six grandsons, Jacob Bunyard, Joseph Bunyard, Michael Monroy, John David Bunyard, James Bunyard, and Jack Bunyard; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bunyard will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Carlton officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery.
The family will be at 915 N. 9th St. in De Queen.
