Grant

BLYTHEVILLE -- Isiah Grant, 63, of Blytheville died Saturday, Sept. 11, at his home.

Born in Jefferson County, he was a factory worker and was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include a daughter, Deloris Lewis of Crumpton, Calif.; his father, Jessie Grant of Blytheville; a brother, George Willie Grant of Blytheville; and two sisters, Juanita Grant and Lommie Mae Davis, both of Blytheville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lomie Grant.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with D.L. Corns officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery at Burdette.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Gregory

TRUMANN -- William W. "Bill" Gregory Sr., 76, of Trumann died Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

Born in Memphis, he was retired from the Air Force and was an ordained minister.

Survivors include his wife, Katie L. Gregory; a son, William W. Gregory Jr. of Franklin, Tenn.; one stepson, Larry Rodgers of Trumann; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Embery of Sheridan, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday in Forest Hill Cemetery at Memphis.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 2405 Stadium Blvd., Jonesboro 72403.

Henson

BROOKLAND -- A memorial service for Joe Lee Bratton Henson, 39, of Brookland who died Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Regional Medical Center at Memphis, has been scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Darrel Miller officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Honorary pallbearers will include Darin R. Gibbs, Dennis Weaver, Ted Simpson, Les Doris, Scott Barnes, Cletius Hale, Jerry Lally, Steve Wilson, David Pate and Bruce Owens.

Born in Las Vegas, he had worked for Colson Caster Corp. and served in the 875th Engineering Battalion of the Arkansas National Guard for eight years. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include two sons, Derek Henson of Hoxie and Tristan Henson of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Autumn Henson of Fort Worth; his mother, Phyllis Bratton Newcom of Brookland; his stepfather, Robert Newcom of Brookland; two brothers, Floyd McCranie of Jonesboro and Roy McCranie of Trumann; four sisters, Paulet Dacus of Tucson, Ariz., Barbara Owens of Waco, Texas, and Dawn Pate and Kim Wilson, both of Brookland; and three half sisters, Jean Hensley, Johnny Kay Minge and Joyce Young, all of West Plains, Mo.; and his fiance, Judy Moody of Brookland.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harrall Bratton, and his grandparents, John and Lela Bratton and Phillip and Pauline Scott.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock 72207.

Holiman

LEPANTO -- Mary Helen Holiman, 77, of Lepanto died Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born in Memphis, she was a member of First Baptist Church, the Lepanto Art Chapter and the National Audubon Society.

Survivors include two sons, Jake Holiman and Mark Holiman, both of Lepanto; one daughter, Charlotte Patterson of Lepanto; one sister, Doris Hamilton of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Murphy Funeral Home chapel, with Jim Duffle officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include J.P. Holiman III, Sarah Holiman, Justin Patterson, Jordan Patterson, Lindsay Holiman and Marissa Holiman.

Valerie Qualls and Kirsten Holiman will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Hopkins

Jim Glenn Hopkins, 86, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Sept. 16, at NEA Medical Center.

Born at Paragould, he lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Valine Hogland Hopkins; three stepsons, Leonard Pickle Jr. of Weiner, Paul Pickle of Jonesboro and Robert Pickle of Hardy; four brothers, Jerry Hopkins of Paragould, Ted Hopkins and Larry Hopkins, both of Memphis, and Bill Hopkins of St. Louis; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Marty Hopkins officiating. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 300 North Airport Road, Jonesboro 72401.

Lewis

BLYTHEVILLE -- Lucy Lewis, 90, of Blytheville and West Memphis died Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Cordova, Tenn., Rehab and Nursing Center.

Born at Lake City, she lived in Blytheville most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and a former member of Little River Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Janie L. Tate of Germantown, Tenn., and Jeannie M. Gill of Blytheville; one sister, Mary Kizer of Rector; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruff Lewis; her parents, Will and Cora Lee Guest Craft; three brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Little River Baptist Church in the Lost Cane community, with the Rev. Jerry Flagg officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Visitation has been scheduled for 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Malott

A memorial service for Debra Susan Malott, 49, of Jonesboro, who died Monday, Sept. 13, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, is scheduled for 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Michael Smith will officiate.

Born at Selma, Ala., she lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a graduate of Arkansas St-ate University.

Survivors include one son, Ryan Malott of Jonesboro; her mother, Geneva Adams Jones of Jonesboro; one brother, Rick Jones of Jonesboro; and two sisters, Sherri Jones of Jonesboro and Ann Fisse of Madison, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Jones, and one brother.

Memorials may be made to St. Bernard's Hospice, 2813 Forest Home Road, Jonesboro 72401 or the Arbor Day Foundation.

Munns

Elihue Munns, 98, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Sept. 15, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Born at Cotton Plant, he had lived in the Bay and Jonesboro areas since 1938, working several years as a butcher for Broadaway Packing Co.

He was a member of the Jonesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Burns Munns of the home; one son, Paris Munns of Forrest City; and four grandchildren, Robert Munns, Shannon D. Munns, Janice Taylor and Ora Mae Jarrett.; and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Thelma Munns.

A memorial service has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Jonesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, with Mitchell Young officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro will be in charge of private burial services.

No visitation has been planned.

Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5618 Summer Place, Jonesboro 72404.
