Campbell
AMORY, Miss. -- Otho Campbell, 89, of Amory, formerly of Piggott, died Saturday, Sept. 18, in Amory.
He was born at Piggott.
Survivors include his wife, Jewerldean Campbell of Amory; two daughters, Joeann Vaughn and Willistene Mitchell, both of Amory; two sisters, Nellie Gossett and Mildred Gossett, both of Piggott; a granddaughter, Ramona Stanford of Crystal River, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oline M. Miller; his parents, Arthur Glen and Hattie Jane Fields Campbell, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Piggott Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Dan Gossett, Daniel Gossett, Jerry Gossett, Norman Gossett, Richard Gossett, Larry Bowling, Toby Stanford and Glen Campbell.
Carter
THAYER, Mo. -- Frances Irene Carter, 89, of Thayer, formerly of Imboden, died Sunday, Sept. 19, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Born in Conway, Mo., she was a homemaker and a member of Imboden Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Carter of the home; three sons, Edward Carter of Marion, Mich., Wayne Carter of Battle Creek, Mich., and Robert Carter of Rowlett, Texas; a brother, Jack Ikerd of Bolivar, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Imboden Baptist Church, with Tony Clem officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery
under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Imboden.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Doty
POCAHONTAS -- Jerry Darrel Doty, 55, of Pocahontas died Sunday, Sept. 19, at his residence.
Born in Jonesboro, he was a sales manager for a farm equipment business.
Survivors include his wife, Sharion Doty of Pocahontas; one son, Todd Doty of Salem; one daughter, Dena Whitley of Benton; four stepdaughters, Brandy Brooks and Danette Halliburton, both of Pocahontas, and Tesha Dick and Michelle Woodard, both of DeRidder, La.; his mother, Doris Dunaway Doty of Jonesboro; two brothers, Tom Doty of Keiser and Mark Doty of Jonesboro; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bonard Doty.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel at McNabb Funeral Home, with Tom Doty and Jerry Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include Lonnie Reed, Mark Doty, Lynn Doty, Rick Brown, Donnie Brown, Clint Clark and Charles Dunaway.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Fisher
NEWPORT -- Violet Lee Fisher, 94, of Newport died Monday, Sept. 20, at Pinedale Nursing Home.
Born at Locust Grove, she was a homemaker and a member of Holden Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Maurice Lee Fisher of Searcy, Norman Oscar "Buddy" Fisher of Newport and Chester Edward Fisher of Michigan; three daughters, Wilma Dean Hendricks of Texas, Imogean Falwell of Sherwood and Barbara Joan Coombs of Cabot; one sister, Madge Goodman of California; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Oran Fisher; a son, Bernus Ray Fisher; a daughter, Mary Katherine Fisher; four brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dillinger Funeral Home chapel, with Charley Coombs and Jim Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Watson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Greer
SALEM -- Raymond Devayne Greer Jr., 40, of Salem died Saturday, Sept. 18, in Salem.
An Army veteran, he worked as a die caster and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Devayne Greer III and Zebadiah Ray Greer, both of Pocahontas, Iowa; three daughters, Kimberly Dawn English of Pocahontas, Iowa, and Emily Elizabeth Greer and Abby Annette Greer, both of Salem; his stepfather and mother, Marshall and Peggy Gross of Salem; a sister, Yenneke Robinson of Salem; two brothers, Glenn Jackson of Salem and Christopher Gross of Forrest City; and a granddaughter, Clara Ann English of Pocahontas, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Devayne Greer Sr.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, with William Hughart officiating.
Memorials may be made to Salem Assembly of God.

MAYNARD -- Brian Lloyd Jones, 28, of Maynard died Sunday, Sept. 19, at Regional Medical Center at Memphis from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near McDougal. His mother, Fern Jones, also died of injuries she sustained in that accident.
Born in Pocahontas, he worked as a farm hand.
Survivors include a son, Dalton Anthony Jones of Pocahontas; his father, Bill Jones of Maynard; three brothers, Willie Jones and Michael Jones, both of Maynard, and Robert Jones of Little Rock; three sisters, Patty Jacobs of Bartonville, Ill., and Tammy Gaude and Genny Jones, both of Pocahontas; and his grandmother, Gertie Ezell of Pocahontas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, with Johnny Cockrum officiating. Burial will follow in Sharum Cemetery
at O'Kean.

Born in Pocahontas, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Jones of Maynard; three sons, Willie Jones and Michael Jones, both of Maynard, and Robert Jones of Little Rock; three daughters, Patty Jacobs of Bartonville, Ill., and Tammy Gaude and Genny Jones, both of Pocahontas; her mother, Gertie Ezell of Pocahontas; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Rudolph Williams.

ALICIA -- Jerry Lyn Light, 63, of Alicia died Sunday, Sept. 19, at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock.
Born in Alicia, he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a lifelong resident of Alicia. He was a farmer and a member of Alicia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Light of the home; a son, Jay Lynn Light of Alicia; a daughter, Tina Crow of Bono; seven brothers, Lavon "Heavy" Light of Alicia, James Lavell Light of Germantown, Tenn., Gary Dale "Hop" Light of Minturn, Ronnie "Frog" Light of Hoxie, Benny Light of Locust Grove, Jackie Light of Centerville, Tenn., and Charles Light of Dallas, Ga.; three sisters, Jone Baldridge of Tampa, Fla., Janet Staudinger of Winchester and Sharon Goodwin of Powhatan; and two grandchildren, Brittnie Light and Justin Light, both of Alicia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo C. and Thelma E. Hartley Light, and a brother.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie, with Monroe Baldwin officiating. Burial with military honors provided by members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Promberger-Traw Post No. 4556 of Pocahontas will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include David Light, Lavon Light, James Light, Gary Light, Ronnie Light, Benny Light, Jackie Light and Charles Light.
Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
McManners
Lucy Mae Sims McManners, 84, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Sept. 19, in Jonesboro.
Born at Melbourne, she was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of the Assembly of God at Tuckerman.
Survivors include two brothers, O.L. Sims of Dexter, Mo., and Noil Sims of Cape Coral, Fla.; and one sister, Margie Cook of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McManners; her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Dowell's Chapel Cemetery
under the direction of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
