Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mount McCurry cemetery in Rudy.
She is survived by her mother, Donita Pixley of Chester; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Larry Mason of Paris, Bobby and Melissa Pixley of Chester; maternal great-grandparents, Mary Ann Walker of Atlantic, N.C., Terry Newman of Mansfield, Linda Gillett of Chester and John Whitsett of Fort Smith; maternal great-great-grandparents, Ollie Walker of Ozark, Betty Martin of Huntington and Reba Whitsett of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Calvin and Truman Pixley and James Rogers.

Rocky Adamec
Rocky Adamec, 65, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 24, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a retired inspector for the Whirlpool Corporation after 38 years of service and an Army veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Adamec of the home; four daughters, Shari Chronister of Van Buren, Gwyn Parish of Mansfield, Kim Corley and Traci Barker, both of Fort Smith; a son, Mike Adamec of Fort Smith; his mother and stepfather, Helene and Joe Musil of Riverside, Ill.; a sister, Barbara Doubek of Clairmont, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Micheala, Alexis, Alex and Nathan.
Pallbearers will be Jarvis Chronister, John Parish, Vince Corley, Joe Ruloph, Gary Barker, Mark Goforth, Bill Dempsey and Joe Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be retired employees of Whirlpool Corporation.

Wilma Burke
Wilma Burke, 74, of Fort Smith died Sunday, March 25, 2001. She was a homemaker and was previously employed by Dixie Cup and Town and Country Restaurant.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial at Garden of Memories in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of 54 1/2 years, Graden “Grady” C. Burke; a stepdaughter, Rebecca J. Faldon; stepgrandchildren, Scott and Mark Faldon, all of Fort Smith; nephews, Earl and Glenn Cross, both of Charleston, and Dale Cross of Detroit, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mintie Duncan and Alonzo Raney, a sister, Marie Cross, a brother, J.D. Raney.
Pallbearers will be Frank Day, Dave Galloway, Joe Knox, Alex Sylvester, Ronnie Ashley and Gary Paris.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.

A. Marie Webb
GREEN RIVER, Wyo. — A. Marie Daffron Webb, 85, of Green River, Wyo., formerly of Rock Springs, Wyo., died Saturday, March 10, 2001, in Green River. She was a 1932 graduate of Mansfield High School and was a retired nurse at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County and Kimberly Manor Nursing Home, both in Wyoming. She was the widow of Reid Webb Sr.
Funeral was held March 14 at Vase Funeral Home Chapel in Rock Springs, Wyo. The body was cremated.
She is survived by a son, Reid Webb Jr. of Rock Springs; two sisters, Edith DeCora Beveridge of Rock Springs and Joyce Oliver of Midland; two grandsons, Mike Johnson of Parker, Colo. and Paul Johnson of Rock Springs; and three great-grandchildren.

Annie Grissom
BOONEVILLE — Annie Lee Grissom, 93, of Booneville died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a charter member of First Assembly of God in Booneville.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in First Assembly of God with burial at Oak Hill cemetery in Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Sue Parish of Fort Smith; a son, Alford “A.L.” Grissom of Booneville; three grandchildren, Douglass Parish of Springdale, Davis Grissom of Booneville and Mary Ann Echols of Rogers; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Patterson, Steve and Brad Parish, Loren Wagoner, A.J. Stafford and Benny Warren.
Honorary pallbearers will be a group of close friends.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Assembly of God Church or church of your choice.

Clarence Brown
HEAVENER — Clarence Otis Brown, 89, of Heavener died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Zoe cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie; two daughters, Mary “Pooch” Watts of Heavener and Norma Hart of Gore; four sons, Thomas “Tink” of Wister, Henry of Poteau, Clarence W. “Bill” and James “Pee Wee,” both of Heavener; a stepsister, Suzie Stites of Heavener; 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

LITTLE ROCK — Lori Lea Gattis Garber, 30, of Little Rock died Wednesday, May 23, 2001. She was a LPN and worked for the family business. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Charleston and a member of Western Hills Country Club.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Roller-Drummond Southwest Chapel in Little Rock with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
She is survived by her parents, Noel Wayne Gattis and Betty Lou Martin Gattis and stepmother, Patti Gattis, all of Little Rock; a twin sister, Leslie Blacklock and a sister, Lillian Gattis, both of Little Rock; two brothers, Curtis and Randy Gattis, both of Little Rock.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Wanda Cates
GREENWOOD — Wanda Cates, 81, of Greenwood died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in Greenwood. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mount Harmony cemetery in Greenwood.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Nell Zebell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joye Beth Hayes of Greenwood; a son, Walter Dale Cates of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Adele Ercoli
Adele Josephine Ercoli, 90, of Fort Smith died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was former owner of E&R Supermarket in Old Forge, Pa. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was the widow of John Ercoli.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Vina Richards of Fort Smith; a son, Nazzareno Ercoli of Morgantown, Ind.; a sister, Theresa Eigne of Old Forge, Pa.; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 22 N. 13th St., Fort Smith, AR 72901.

LAMAR — Loyd “Jack” Morris, 78, of Lamar died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in Paris. He was born Feb. 2, 1923, in Hartman. He was a member of Springhill Masonic Lodge No. 118 of Hartman.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Hartman cemetery in Hartman.
He is survived by his companion, Iris Terry of Lamar; a sister, Lois Miller of Hartman; two stepsisters, Sharon Trout of Oklahoma and Mary Hembree of Van Buren; two stepbrothers, Ewell and Leo Morris, both of Fort Smith; several nieces and nephews and stepnieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Fred and Max Dlugosh, Duel Miller, Larry Lowry, Donald Lee Harkreader and Jackie Thomas.

PRYOR, Okla. — Ruby I. Henry, 92, of Pryor, Okla., formerly of Sallisaw died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in Pryor. She was a homemaker and a Missionary Baptist. She was the widow of Erman Lee Henry.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Agent Funeral Home Chapel of Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Lillie Mae Henry of the home; and a nephew, Jerry Hayes of Pryor, Okla.
The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hannah Roberts
MULDROW — Hannah “Gracie” Roberts, infant daughter of Tommy and Shayne Brooke Humphrey Roberts II of Muldrow, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in a Little Rock hospital.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Tommy Roberts III; her paternal grandparents, Tommy and Judy Roberts Sr. of Roland, maternal grandparents, Elaine Humphrey of Bartlesville, Okla., and Joe Humphrey of Sallisaw; paternal great-grandparents, Delmas and Ruby Roberts and Charles and Thelma McGrew, all of Roland, maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mary Francis Jackson and Mable Humphrey, all of Sallisaw; several aunts and uncles and a cousin.

Dixie Whitfield
COAL HILL — Dixie Bryant Whitfield, 95, of Coal Hill died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in a local nursing home. She was born July 24, 1905, in Coal Hill. She was a member of Ferguson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Coal Hill and of the Coal Hill EH Club.
Funeral will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Ferguson Memorial Presbyterian Church with burial at Coal Hill cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by a brother, Dawson Bryant of Coal Hill; two nieces, Patricia Shamblin of Ozark and Gayle Hurst of Coal Hill and a nephew, Allen Bryant of Coal Hill.

Ruth C. Speers
Ruth C. Speers, 73, of Sand Springs, Okla., formerly of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in her home. She was retired Tumor Registrar at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, original Tumor Registrar at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, a member of Goddard United Methodist Church in Fort Smith and the Fort Smith Historical Society. She was a resident of Fort Smith from 1954 to 1978.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Speers of the home; four daughters, Pamela Speers of Hawaii, Deanna Speers of Bixby, Okla., Alana Swafford of Jupiter, Fla., and Anita Sarten of Fort Smith; two brothers, Allen H. Howay of Tulsa and Jerry Howay of Grand Rapids, Mich.; five grandchildren, Joshua D. French of Jacksonville, Fla., and Shannon Marie French of Deerfield Beach, Fla., grandchildren of Helen and Leroy French, Adrianne Cattoni of Port Richey, Fla., Anastasia D. Cattoni of Tulsa and Samantha S. Speers of Bixby, Okla.; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Austin and Dillon Taylor, all of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Joshua French, Jeffrey Swafford, Stan Sarten, Taylor Kilpatrick, Pamela and Deanna Speers.

David Lee Rush
David Lee Rush, 23, of Greenwood died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was born June 8, 1977, in Fort Smith and was employed with Kone Elevator Co. in Denver. David graduated from Greenwood High School in 1996 and attended Westark Community College and Carl Albert State College before moving to Denver.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood followed by graveside service at Evans cemetery located on Old Excelsior Road in Greenwood.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Betty Rush of Greenwood; three sisters, Beth Allen and DeAnna Coker, both of Fort Smith and Brandy Oaks of Sallisaw; four brothers, Scott Butler and Jeffery Rush, both of Denver, Don Rush Jr. of Van Buren and Michael Rush of Fort Smith; his maternal grandmother, Katy Freeman of Greenwood, 12 nieces and three nephews; and numerous friends.

Jim Mclaughlin
Jim Mclaughlin, 71, of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in a local hospital. He was the owner and operator of J. and B. Trucking, a Navy veteran and a Methodist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Forrest Park cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie; seven daughters, Coletta Kissinger of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Sharon Wood of Conway, Linda Morphis of Bryant, Rita Grigsby of Morrilton, Yvonne Hesson of Texas, Vickey Simmons of Fort Smith and Debbie Kenney of Van Buren; three sons, Rudy Hesson and Myron Heckman, both of Alma, and Jeff Heckman of Fort Smith; a sister, Carolyn McNally of Missouri; a brother, Bob of Oklahoma City; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dixon, Jimmy Shores, Jeff Black, Jerry Kenney, Jeremy Brownmiller and Kim Hoover.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
