Hryczsyn

MARKED TREE -- Stanley Joseph Hryczsyn, 87, of Marked Tree died Sunday, Dec. 26, at Three Rivers Nursing Center.

Born in Wisconsin, he was a retired truck driver and of the Catholic belief.

There are no immediate survivors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Mary Hryczsyn.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shady Grove Cemetery at Evadale, with Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza is in charge of arrangements.

No visitation is scheduled.

Hunt

EUREKA, Mo. -- Hollis Eugene Hunt, 82, of Eureka died Saturday, Dec. 25, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.

Born in Tennessee, he was retired from Stone Container Co.

Survivors include one son, Larry E. Hunt of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a daughter, Patsy Caldwell of Eureka; one brother, Rick Hunt of Murfeesboro; three sisters, Mildred Bloodworth of Cahokia, Ill., Emily Russell of Jonesville, La., and Vita Lee Tackett of McGehee, and two grandchildren, Becky Singen and Beth Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hunt; his parents, James Clarence and America Jane Manson Hunt, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, with the Rev. Floyd Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Overby Cemetery at Pocahontas.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hurley

MANILA -- Brian Otis Hurley, 35, of Manila died Saturday, Dec. 25, at Manila.

Born at Watervliet, Mich., he had worked for Green Gin Cotton Co. and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Hurley of Manila, and his grandfather, James Wesley Newton of New Carlisle, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Hurley; his father, Wendell Hurley, and one brother.

No services are scheduled. Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.

Jenkins

CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- George Jenkins, 82, of Cherokee Village died Monday, Dec. 27, at Hardy.

He was born at Highland.

Survivors include one son, Paul Jenkins of Gainesville, Mo., and two daughters, Ann Anderson of Rochelle, Ill., and Debbie Ingram of Monument, Colo.

Funeral services will be announced by Heath Funeral Home's Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.

Krzton

PARAGOULD -- Joseph Kurt Krzton, 28, of Paragould died Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Louis.

A 1995 graduate of Paragould High School, he was the 11th Chancellor Scholarship recipient of the University of Arkansas for computer engineering. He was a self-employed computer repairman, and sold his first computer program to IBM at the age of 11. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Kisef Krzton of Florida; his father, Eric Krzton of Paragould; his mother, Peggy Koenig of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Michael Krzton and Jon Krzton, both of Paragould; two sisters, Kimberly Krzton of Jonesboro and Marie Krzton of Paragould, and his maternal grandmother, June Koenig of St. Louis.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould, with Jeff Dial officiating.

Pallbearers will be Michael Krzton, Jon Krzton, Fred Ryan, Ricky Betts, Eric Krzton and Archie Johnson.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Laboy

Richard Laboy III, 31, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

He moved to Jonesboro three years ago from North Little Rock. He was a basketball coach at the Sixth Grade Academic Center and a member of McAlmont Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Marelyn Laboy of Jonesboro; a son, Richard Laboy IV of Jonesboro; a daughter, Carelyn Ann Laboy of Jonesboro; his father and stepmother, Richard Jr. and Marsha Laboy of North Little Rock; his mother, Margarita Villaneuva of Piscataway, N.J.; three brothers, Antonio Laboy, Luis A. Laboy and Clifton Barnum, all of North Little Rock; two sisters, Jasmine White of Piscataway and Michelle Laboy of Plainfield, N.J.; and his grandmother, Lydia Bonilla of Piscataway.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother and his great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery at Piscataway under the direction of Piscataway Funeral Home.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Piscataway Funeral Home.

McGuffey

ALICIA -- Graveside services for James McGuffey, 71, of the Calvin community near Alicia, who died Thursday, Dec. 23, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, will be at 2 p.m. today in Calvin Cemetery near Alicia.

Monroe Baldwin will officiate, and House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.

Born in the Barmlett community, he served in the Army in Korea, was a retired carpenter and had lived in St. Louis before moving to the Calvin community in 1974.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth McGuffey of the home; his mother, Olive Cobble of Walnut Ridge; a sister, Evelyn Williams of the Oak Grove community, and a brother, Harley Mack Turner of Barmlett.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Turner.

No visitation is planned.

Pack

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Funeral services for Harold Pack, 73, of Orange Park, who died Friday, Dec. 24, at Orange Park Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Emil Williams will officiate, and burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Pack, David Pack, Steve Evans, Jerry Pack, Dosie Pack, Aubrey Pack and Nathan Pack.

A Navy veteran, he was a magna cum laude graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan and was a retired civil engineer for Proctor and Gamble. He had lived in Kansas City, Kan., before moving to Orange Park 12 years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pack of Orange Park; three sons, Norman Wayne Pack and Larry Allen Pack, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and David Brian Pack of Atlanta; a daughter, Janis Ann Evans of Orange Park; four brothers, Aubrey Pack, Nathan Pack and Dossie Pack, all of Jonesboro, and Jerry Pack of Forth Worth, Texas; three sisters, Lawanda Marie Gott of Jonesboro, Elaine Payton of Springfield, Mo., and Eloise Stone of Little Rock, and seven grandchildren, Jenna Pack, Tyler Evans, Brittany Evans, Brian Pack, Austin Pack, Christopher Pack and Caitlin Pack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Eva Mae Ellington Pack; one sister, and one brother.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Christian Family Chapel in Jacksonville, Fla., with Doug Rutt officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home.

Puckett

LEACHVILLE -- Terry Ray "Red" Puckett, 60, of Leachville, died Sunday, Dec. 26, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

A native and lifelong Leachville resident, he was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include two sons, Yancey "Guy" Puckett of Jonesboro and Jerry Ray Puckett of West Plains, Mo.; three daughters, Zenia Adams, Terrie McCormick and Sherrie Shepard, all of Leachville; four brothers, Thomas Puckett, Charles Puckett and Bert Puckett, all of Leachville, and Cloyce Puckett of St. Louis; five sisters, Jo Ann Carden, Connie Shepard and Wava Martin, all of Leachville, Quinnie Moore of St. Louis and Mary Ellen Steen of Kennett, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Stockinger Puckett, and his parents, Edward and Faye Lents Puckett.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Howard Funeral Service chapel in Leachville, with the Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
