Carmen S. Young, 86, of Van Buren died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in a local nursing home.
She was a retired lab technician for Crawford Memorial Hospital and a member of Kibler Road Church of God.
She was the widow of Franklin P. Young.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters, Nelda Morland and Loretta West, both of Van Buren; a son, Franklin Pierce Young Jr. of Van Buren; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Castleberry, Danny Hubbard, Danny and Trey Tounzen, Derek and Damon Morland and Paul Curd.
Wildean Milligan
BATESVILLE — Wildean Ward Milligan, 74, of Batesville died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at her home.
She was born July 17, 1926, in Strawberry.
She was a homemaker and a retired quality control inspector for Gen Corp., and a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church at Strawberry.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with burial at Ward cemetery in Strawberry.
She is survived by two daughters, Yugonda Clinton of Denver and Anita Nerio of Tulsa; a son, Curtis Milligan of Greenwood; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry and Willy Jones, Danny Joe Norman, Charles Jarmuszkiewcz, Steve Owings, Dan Webb and Andy Denham.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

POTEAU — Florene Whitehead Holton, 82, of Poteau died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Poteau.
She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Gilmore, Okla.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ in Poteau.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Oakland cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, William; three daughters, Margaret Blake of Poteau, Freda Barton of Charlotte, N.C., and Nancy Anderson of Durant, Okla.; a son, William Roy Holton Jr. of Oklahoma City; a sister, Willa Mae Ivy of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
J.C. McGee Jr.
J.C. McGee Jr., 84, of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Nashville, Tenn.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a salesman for Varco Business Forms.
He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and of the Heritage Foundation.
He was the widower of Ann McGee.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Marks of Lenexa, Kan.; a son, David McGee of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a sister, Inez Gettys of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother, Marshall McGee of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Mark, Jonathan and Ashley McGee.

Ray Boster, 78, of Fort Smith died Monday, May 28, 2001, in a local hospital.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a retired service station owner and a butcher for Kroger, Market Basket and Goff Brothers Grocery Stores.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Stuart of Van Buren; three sons, David Boster of Van Buren, Dennis Boster of Fort Smith and Donald Boster of Alma; a sister, Leila Lollis of Van Buren; two brothers, Wayne Boster of Van Buren and Doyle Boster of Lincoln, Neb.; and 10 grandchildren.

Lonnie “Butch” Bonner
Lonnie “Butch” Bonner, 74, of Van Buren died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1926, in Booneville to Lonnie and Rosa Dallas Bonner.
He was a retired truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service, a musician and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margurite Cottingham.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Dallas Bonner of the home; two daughters, Lily Copeland and husband, Kenny of Van Buren and Janice Clark of West Fork; two sons, Jackie Bonner of Van Buren and Tommy Bonner and wife, Bonnie of Monte Vista, Colo.; a sister, Edna Mae Beaty of Springdale; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and three nephews and their families.
Pallbearers will be Conrad Smith, Charles Gilmore, Jerry Cottingham, James Beaty, Claudie and Carrol Copeland, John Szczerba and Leon Green.
Harvey McFeeters
INOLA, Okla. — Harvey Thomas McFeeters, 72, of Inola, Okla., formerly of Fort Smith, died Monday, May 28, 2001, in Tulsa. He joined the Army when he was 18 years old and served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star, and retired from the Army after 21 years service as sergeant first class.
He retired from Rheem after 18 years of service and was a member of the First Christian Church in Inola.
The body will be cremated. Private graveside service will be at Fort Gibson National cemetery in Fort Gibson under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Billie; a daughter, Twila Martin; a son, Mark T. McFeeters; four grandchildren, Shanna and Joe T. McFeeters and Kaleb and Katie Martin.
Evelyn Judy
Evelyn Lucille Judy, 83, of Fort Smith, formerly of Mansfield, died Monday, May 28, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital.
She was retired from Holt-Krock Clinic and a member of Goddard United Methodist Church and a former member of the Silvertones of Goddard. She was the widow of George H. Judy.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Goddard United Methodist Church with burial at Coop Prairie cemetery in Mansfield under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield.
She is survived by three daughters, Hilda Caldwell, Elizabeth Dooley and Susan Morland, all of Fort Smith; a sister, Mildred Kropp of Fort Smith; a brother, Bob Ed Allen of Houston; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Caldwell, Derek Smith, Chris and Daniel Morland, Jerry Hill and Perry Green.
Visitation will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Goddard United Methodist Church.

Stanley Everett “Buck” Turpin, 61, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Fort Smith.
He was a retired welder for Custom Equipment in Fort Smith and a Baptist.

He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Rose of Fort Smith; a son, Randy Turpin of Fort Smith; two sisters, Nita Colley of Broken Bow, Okla., and Marie Dameron of Texas; six brothers, Lee and Jim Turpin, both of Muldrow, Bill Turpin of Akins Community, Jerry Turpin of Michigan, Mike Turpin of Wyoming and Newell Turpin of California; and three grandchildren.

BOONEVILLE — Mark Dwight Milam, 48, of Booneville died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a self-employed mechanic.
The body will be cremated. No services are planned.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; a daughter, Lacy Milam of Fort Smith; a son, Ashley Rutherford of Melbourne, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and David Tucker of Livingston, Texas; three sisters, Dee Anderson of Rockport, Texas, Reva Stephens of Columbus, La., and Lisa Sheika of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother, Carey Smith of Silsby, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Etta May Tripp, 90, of Fort Smith, formerly of Syracuse, N.Y. and Cape Coral Fla.., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Marcellus, N.Y. She was a homemaker and the widow of Stuart Tripp.
Funeral services and burial be held in Marcellus, N.Y. at a later date. Arrangements are by Norris Funeral home of Marcellus, N.Y.
She is survived by two sons, John of Fort Smith and Harold of Carol Stream, Ill.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

SALLISAW — Velta Katherine Perdue, 75, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was born April 28, 1928, in Yowstown. She was a homemaker, was a clerk for a pharmacy, and of the Church of Christ faith.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Akins cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise West of Grants Pass, Ore., and Shannon Shadel of Tulsa; two sisters, Wanda Osburn of Fort Smith and Helen Edwards of Sallisaw; and three grandchildren.

ARKOMA — Mildred J. Gray, 81, of Arkoma died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, in Pocola. She was born Sept. 11, 1922, in Sallisaw. She was a licensed practical nurse at nursing homes and hospitals, was a Free Will Baptist, and the widow of Donald Gray.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Yow of Fort Smith; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

POTEAU — Mary Lou Lanham Feo (Skeeter), 54, of Poteau died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1950, in Nelson County, Ky. She was a member of Poteau Valley Baptist Church and an employee at Oxford Home Health for eight years.

PEGGS, Okla. — Wallace J. Fisher, 89, of Peggs, Okla. died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in Tulsa. He was born May 18, 1915, in Peggs, Okla. He worked for Cherokee County District 1 for 35 years, and was a dairy farmer and a member of Blue Springs General Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah, Okla., with burial at New Home cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie; five daughters, Gladys Cook and Lula Steely, both of Tahlequah, Okla., Kathy Barnett of Cedarville, Barbara Nace of Peggs, Okla., and Sharon Fisher of Okay; four sons, Richard Fisher of Peggs, Okla., Ray Fisher of Phoenix, Norman and Eugene Fisher, both of Tahlequah, Okla.; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
