Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a son, John Scott Womack of Springdale; her father and stepmother, Roger and Vera Casey of Fort Smith; two sisters, Kaye Cooper of Fort Smith and Lori Green of Bastrop, La.; two brothers, Alan and Kenny Wray of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

BOARD CAMP — Ellen L. Breitweg, 63, of Board Camp died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Mena. She was born June 18, 1938, in Ravenna, Texas. She was cook for Queen Wilhelmina State Park for 10 years and a member of Board Camp Assembly of God Church. She was the widow of William John Breitwig Jr.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Board Camp Assembly of God Church with burial at Board Camp cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Service of Mena.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Erickson of Board Camp and Lisa Henry of Arkadelphia; a son, William John Breitweg III of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Darlene Smith of Wright City, Okla.; a stepson, Kenneth Breitwig of Dexter, Mo.; two sisters, Ruth and Pauline; two brothers, Ronald VanHooser of Bonham, Texas and Edward VanHooser of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edward, Ronald and William John Breitweg III, Jeff Henry and James and David Erickson.
Tommy Harrison Sr.
SPIRO — Tommy Harrison Sr., 65, of Spiro died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was a member of Lighthouse at the Crossroads.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with burial at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Noveline; two daughters, Debbie Harrison and Denine Cooper, both of Spiro; two sons, Tommy Gene and Henry Harrison, both of Spiro; a brother, Johnny Harrison of Spiro; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny and James Cooper, Michael and Louie Ward, Barney Harrison and Harry Stanley.
Wake will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed starting at viewing 5 p.m.
Barbara Pendleton
COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — Barbara Jean Pendleton, 86, of Coffeyville, Kan., died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Coffeyville. She was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Van Buren. She graduated from Roosevelt Junior High and Field Kindley High School and Coffeyville Junior College. She graduated from University of Montana in 1946 with a degree in journalism. She taught at McKinley School in Coffeyville for 10 years. After the war, she taught returning veterans at Coffeyville Junior College and taught at Edgewod and Roosevelt Junior High where she was sponsor of the pep club and cheerleaders. She earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Trinity University in San Antonio in 1963 and spent 30 years as a classroom instructor and a honor society sponsor and director of alumni and public information. She was selected as National Phi Theta Kappa sponsor in 1989 and continued to teach night classes after her retirement. Her awards were induction into the NJCAA Hall of Fame, Red Raven Football Hall of Fame, the CCC Letterman’s Hall of Fame and the Coffeyville Community College Outstanding Alumni Award. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, past matron of Coffeyville Chapter No. 112, Order of the Eastern Star, past mother advisor of Coffeyville Assembly No. 67, Order of the Rainbow Girls, served on state advisory board, past president of Coffeyville Research Club, past president of the Kansas Federated Club’s Third District, past regent of the Jane Dean Coffey Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a lifetime member of PTA, the Delta Kappa Gamma and a 65-year member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church with burial at Fairview cemetery, both in Coffeyville under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Service of Coffeyville, Kan.
She is survived by two daughters, Emily Ann Biddler of Dallas and Marcy Callaway of Richardson, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennie Brown of Boise, Idaho, Courtney and Chad Callaway, both of Richardson, Texas and David Biddler of Dallas.

WISTER — Thomas Aire Bost, 71, of Wister died Monday, March 11, 2002, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1930. He was a mechanic and timber worker.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Fanshawe cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; four daughters, Joanna Means of Wister, Tommie Voyles of Mounds, Okla., Donna Jackson of Wagoner, Okla., and Sue McFerrin of Houston; two sons, Danny Bailey of Panama and Wesley Bost of Inola, Okla.; four sisters, Jean Rimer of Wister, Alice Carter of Ada, Okla., and Cord and Minne Wiley of Fanshawe; five brothers, Bill of California, Jess of Kansas, Dan of Wister, Don of Seminole, Okla., and Bob of Gilmore, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Leo Schlaf
Leo Emil Schlaf, 72, of Fort Smith died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Little Rock. He was born July 17, 1929, in Fort Smith. He was an Air Force veteran of the 
Korean War, a retired auto mechanic and of the Catholic faith.
Mass will be 1 p.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by a brother, Paul of Fort Smith.
Ruby Silvey
WALDRON — Ruby Silvey, 86, of Waldron died Monday, March 11, 2002, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Waldron Assembly of God and the widow of Oscar Silvey.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Waldron Assembly of God with burial at Duncan cemetery in Waldron under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise Kuykendall of Fort Smith and Linda Wimberly of Van Buren; four sons, Charles, Roy “Bub” and Robert Silvey, all of Waldron, and Ronnie Silvey of Boothe; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

MULDROW — Ella Mae Hogan, 82, of Muldrow died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Roland. She a member of Old Time Holiness Pentecostal Church and the widow of Grover Welch, Ernest McNatt, Lester Casey and George Hogan.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Jacobs of Gore, Betty Saffell of Eufaula, Okla. and Maxine Shepard of Hartman; two sons, Lester Casey Jr. of Muldrow and Ronnie Casey of Arkoma; and several grandchildren.

LEVASY, Mo. — Braedyn Rhodes, infant son of Dusty and Melanie Pritchett Rhodes of Levasy, Mo., died Friday, March 8, 2002.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kynlea Grace Rhodes of the home; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Kennedy Hale of Dardanelle; paternal grandparents, Mary Rhodes Hubbard of Roland and James Rhodes of Sallisaw; maternal great-grandmother, Erma Kennedy Reed of Greenwood; and paternal great-grandmother, Ruby Rhodes of Muldrow.
William Jones
OZARK — William “Bill” Donald Jones, 65, of Ozark died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in Ozark. He was born June 30, 1936, in Mulberry. He was an Air Force veteran and was a lineworker for Cloyes Gear Company in Subiaco and a member of American Legion and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Zion Regular Baptist Church with burial at Piney cemetery north of Mulberry under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
He is survived by a sister, Avanelle Carter of Brookhaven, Miss.; two brothers, Carl Jones of Ozark and Jimmy Jones of Overland Park, Kan.; several nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Sister Dominic Siebenmorgen
Sister Dominic Siebenmorgen, 83, of Fort Smith died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Scholastica Chapel with burial at St. Scholastica cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a sister, Hilda Siebenmorgen of Conway; a brother, Justin Siebenmorgen of Conway; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Nabholz of Conway and Carolyn Siebenmorgen of Little Rock.

Roger Curry Jr.
Roger Keith Curry Jr., 15, of Van Buren died March 7, 2002, in Van Buren. He was a student at Coleman Junior High in Van Buren where he was in the school’s Drama Club. He wrote numerous short stories and poems and edited the school papers. At age 12, Young American published one of his works in the 2000 edition of the “Anthology of Poetry”.
Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. The body will be cremated and there will be no public viewing.
He is survived by his mother, Cheryl L. Curry of Faytetteville; three sisters, Brittany, Nicole and Karyssa Curry, all of Fayetteville; maternal grandparents, Nancy and Gerald Lewis of Fort Smith; paternal grandparents, David and Ollie Birkett of Mukilteo, Wash., and Joe McVey of Fort Smith.
Nellie Shelly
RUDY — Nellie Shelly 75, of Rudy died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in a local nursing home. She was a retired lineworker for O.K. Foods and a homemaker and a Free Will Baptist. She was the widow of Clarence B. Shelly.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Sarah Grove cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by four daughters, Judy Perryman, Janis Martin and Norma Chanmanivong, all of Rudy, and Cathy Mullis of Alma; three sons, John, Andy and David Shelly, all of Van Buren; a brother, Charley McKenzie of Hermiston, Ore.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Zimmerle, Ronald and Kenneth Westphal, Barney McNatt, Raymond Loyd and David Jarrard.
Zenobia Katherine Ellery
Zenobia Katherine Ellery, 88, of Fort Smith passed away Monday, March 11, 2002. She was born on March 11, 1914, in Winfield, La., to James Simms Mathis and Mary Mittie Bevill.
Zenobia was a retired homemaker and had lived in Fort Smith since 1988. She was married
for 57 years to the late William Channing Ellery of Fort Smith. Together they had one daughter, Mary Linda Stoddard of Conroe, Texas, and three sons, William Channing Ellery Jr. of Boerne, Texas, Charles Richard Ellery of Fort Smith and Dr. Jon Christopher Ellery of San Angelo, Texas. In addition to her four children, she is survived by her sister, Melba M. Glass of Dallas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Zenobia was a lifelong student of Christian Science. The family will hold a private service in the home. Arrangements under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Marie Gies North, 88, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 9, 2002, in her home. She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church and the Harvesters Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer C. North.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today in Goddard United Methodist Church with a family committal service at Oak cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn North Newlon of Claremore, Okla.; a son, John Paul North of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Heather North of Fort Smith, Anna and Aaron North, both of Fayetteville, Todd and Christen Newlon, both of Dallas, and two great-grandchildren, Korban and Kari.

Leona C. Taylor
Leona C. Taylor, 89, of Fort Smith died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, a retired retail shoe salesperson for Hunt’s Department Store and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Roppolo, a sister, Nadine Throckmorton and two brothers, Jim and Joe Roppolo.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at Calvary cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a son, Joe David Taylor of Fort Smith; one grandchild, Kenny Taylor of Fort Smith; and two nieces Sallie Hicks of Fort Smith and Peggy Martin of Mena.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy and Marion Ciulla, Jack Green, Pat Looper, John Bivens and Kenny Taylor.

A. Camp Bonds Sr.
A. Camp Bonds Sr. of Muskogee, Okla. an attorney and civic leader died Feb. 15, 2002, in Muskogee after a long illness. He was born in Indian Territory in 1906.
He attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta social fraternity and was on the university wrestling team. While at OU, he was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Upon receiving his LLB, he returned to Muskogee to begin his law practice, Bonds, Matthews, Bonds and Hays. During this time, he served two terms as County Attorney.
Camp Sr., served as president of the Muskogee School Board, president of the Chamber of Commerce, president of the Muskogee Country Club and president of the Sequoyah Outing Club. He was a Mason, a Shriner, a member of the Jesters, a Life Master in Duplicate Bridge and a member of the Boy Scouts of America where he received his Eagle Scout Award and Medal of Honor for saving another scout’s life in 1922.
He was president of the Muskogee Bar Association, a 35-year member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Committee. He also tried two cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
He is survived by his wife, Rubye of the home; his daughter, Francie Pool of Rogers; his son, Camp Jr. of Muskogee, Okla., Lynn Buford Dockery of Fort Smith and Dr. Margaret Buford Bernhard of San Francisco; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial celebration was held Wednesday, Feb. 20 at St. Paul’s United Methodist under the direction of Bradley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Justice Yvonne Kauger, James Kerr, Al Matthews, Robert Motter, Robert Snyder and Justice Hardy Summers.
Alvis Smith
ALTO, Mich. — Alvis M. Smith, 79, of Alto, Mich. died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002. He was a member of Evergreen Missionary Church, the American Legion Carl Johnson Post.
Funeral was held Feb. 19 in Evergreen Missionary Church in Lowell, Mich. under the direction of Roth-Gerst Funeral Home of Lowell, Mich.
He is survived by his wife, Nina; two daughters, Janice Marcell of California and Pamela Brummel of Alto, MIch.; two sons, Robert Smith of Kent City, Mich. and Kenneth Smith of New Hampshire; six grandchildren, Mike and Ron Marcell, Brett Smith, Shannon Crabtree, Jennifer and Jonathan Brummell and four great-grandchildren.
