Danny DaPron
Danny Kris DaPron, 45, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1956, in East St. Louis, Mo., and was of the Baptist faith.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. The body will be cremated.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; two daughters, Brandy Provencher of Auburn, Wash., and Savanna DaPron of St. Cloud, Minn.; two sons, Kristopher and Justin DaPron, both of St. Cloud, Minn.; his father, Paul DaPron of Rolla, Mo.; two sisters, Marilee DaPron of Marshall, Minn., and Joyce Kerber of Fort Smith; a brother, Jerry DaPron of Oregon; and a grandchild.

Joe Lynch
BARLING — Joe Lynch, 47, of Barling died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a former employee of Tyson Foods and attended First Baptist Church of Barling.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Bates under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Lynch of Heavener; two sisters, Lynda Hamlin of Howe and Ann Pottridge of Bates; two brothers, Glynn Lynch of Wister and James Lynch of Poteau.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes. Association, 212 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205.

Billy Womack
FORT SMITH — Billy Jack Womack, 43, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a truck driver and attended First Baptist Church in Arkoma.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jenny Lind cemetery in Jenny Lind under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Womack Jr. and Danny Womack, both of Charleston; his parents, Bill and Patsy Womack of Fort Smith; a sister, Debbie Mitchael of Fort Smith; and two brothers, Danny Womack of Arkoma and Doug Womack of Fort Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Arkoma.

Joe Humphrey
SALLISAW — W. Joe Humphrey, 58, of Sallisaw died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, in Tulsa. He was a 1962 graduate of Sallisaw High School, attended Connors State College in Wanrer, Okla., graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater with a doctorate in veterinary medicine, earned a baccalaureate degree in animal science with a minor in agriculture and received a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University. He was a former loan officer and senior vice president for Commercial Bank in Muskogee, Okla., owner and operator of Sequoyah Animal Clinic from 1970 to 1986 and administrator of Don Mentz Mental Health Facility. He was a Methodist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Akins cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his fiancee, Jeanine Marshall of Sallisaw; a daughter, Brooke Roberts of Roland; three sons, Chase Humphrey of Bartlesville, Okla., Shea Humphrey of Oklahoma City and Jeff Humphrey of Roland; his mother, Mabel Humphrey of Sallisaw; two sisters, Patti Gore of Durham, N.C., and Mary Cowling of Sallisaw; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Williams, Jim Smith, Joe Henry Humphrey, Bart Bates, Ted Fine and Larry Horn.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oklahoma City University, Meinders School of Business, 2501 N. Blackwelder, Oklahoma City, OK 73106.

Mary Davis
Mary A. Davis, 91, of Fort Smith, formerly of Ponca City, Okla., died Saturday in Fort Smith. Along with her husband, she was a rancher and farmer in Osage County, Okla. She was the widow of Kenneth Davis.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Community Christian Church in Ponca City with burial at Odd Fellows cemetery in Ponca City under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay Poulton of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jake Williams, Bob Lindsey, Mark Irvin, Lee Davis and Ed and Jim O’Neill.
The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

W.S. Allen
CHECOTAH, Okla. — W.S. “Bubby”Allen, 94, of Checotah died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Muskogee. He was a farmer and rancher and the widower of Rena Allen.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Keefton Assembly of God with burial at Memorial Park in Muskogee, Okla., under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by two daughters, Thelma Gilbert of Hulbert, Okla., and Helen Boyd of Checotah; five sons, Hugh Allen of Sperry, J.D. Allen of Orrick, Mo., Norman Allen of Oktaha, Okla., Alfred Allen of Haskell, Okla., and Tommy Allen of Wainwright, Okla.; a sister, Joann Caywood; 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Jack Rafalski
Jack L. Rafalski, 75, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was an advertising artist for Calavo Growers of California.
Cremation with no formal service will be under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; three daughters, Deborah Sanij of Van Buren, Marla Fuller of Tahlequah, Okla., and Carol Harragan of Whittier, Calif.; a sister, Loretta Schreiber of Las Vegas, Nev.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Velma Will
MULDROW — Velma Will, 89, of Muldrow died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Sallisaw. She was born Aug. 24, 1913, in Centerton. She was a member of Summers Baptist Church and the widow of Lee Will.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel of Prairie Grove with burial at Centerton cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Waugh of Muldrow.

Petra Delcour
PARIS — Petra G. Delcour, 42, of Paris died Saturday, March 22, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was a baker in the deli department of CV’s Grocery in Paris and a secretary of North Logan Archers.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at First Assembly of God in Paris with burial at Oakwood cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky; two sons, Patrick and Ricky Delcour Jr., both of Paris; her parents, Rudolf and Gerlinde Pecher of Frankfort, Germany; two brothers, Frank and Peter Pecher, both of Frankfort, Germany.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Delcour, Josh Brooks, Joel Smith, Ricky White, Ronnie Shelton and Dain Downs.

Maxie Boggs
SALLISAW — Maxie M. Boggs, 100, of Sallisaw died Monday, March 24, 2003, in Sallisaw. She was the widow of James Boggs.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Zelda Dodd of Enid, Okla.; a son, James Boggs of Tulsa; a brother, Bud White of Tulsa; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy and J.T. McClendon, David Boggs, Jaafar Gassid, Bob Horn and Vernon Edwards.

ASTORIA, 0re. — Robert Lee Shadd, 40, of Astoria, Ore., formerly of Waldron, died Thursday, March 20, 2003, in Astoria. He was a seaside law enforcement officer and an Air Force veteran.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Seaside Christian Church in Warrenton, Ore., under the direction of Hughes-Ransom Mortuary of Astoria, Ore.
A memorial service to be announced in Waldron.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; a daughter, Sierra Shadd of Astoria, Ore.; a son, Dawson Shadd of Astoria, Ore.; his parents, Lee and Joann Shadd of Waldron; a sister, LeeAnn Brannon of Burke, Va.; a brother, Scott Shadd of Tulsa.

Jessie Smith
WALDRON — Jessie Lee Smith, 72, of Waldron died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in a local nursing home. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial at Freedom cemetery near Waldron.
He is survived by four sisters, Dovie Williams and Frances Judy, both of Mansfield, Dora Harrison and Margaret McCafferty, both of Waldron; two brothers, Lester and Melvin Smith, both of Waldron.
The body may be viewed 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Toni King
CLARKSVILLE — Toni B. King, 79, of Clarksville died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Little Rock hospital. She was born July 19, 1932, in Arkansas. She was a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cherry Street Baptist Church with burial at Stillwell cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by her husband, Mel; a son, Timothy King of Cass City, Mich.; two sisters, Ruby Allen and Mary Owen, both of Houston; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Myrtle Gilliam
Myrtle Velia Gilliam, 91, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 22, 2003, in a nursing home. She was born March 22, 2003, in Alma. She was a homemaker, a member of Love’s Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Smith, the A.A.R.P. and R.S.V.P.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Love’s Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church with burial at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Frazier of Fort Smith and Alpha Edmundson of Palmdale, Calif.; a son, Edward Gilliam of Los Angeles; two brothers, Damon Willis of Clarksville and Virgil Owens of Tulsa; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carl Johnson, Robert Marsh, Darryl Page, Sam Scott, John West and Thirl Willis Jr.

Leroy Thompson
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — Leroy Thompson, 64, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Oklahoma City. He was born March 1, 1939, in Paris. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of God’s Lighthouse Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mac Henry cemetery north of Subiaco under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Lee; three daughters, Jennifer Hay of West Siloam Springs, Okla., Joni Rodriguez of Las Vegas and Ann Thompson of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; three sisters, Helen Sowell of Modesto, Calif., Cora Funderburg of Gilbert, Ariz., and Barbara Thompson of Los Angeles; four brothers, B.J. Thompson of Phoenix, Paul Thompson of Russellville, Ray and Bill Thompson, both of Paris; and six grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Judith Martin
TULSA — Judith Ann “Judy” Martin, 50, of Tulsa died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Tulsa.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by a sister, Sandra Milner of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three brothers, Turner and Hugh Martin, both of Tulsa, and Richard Martin of Taipei, Taiwan.
