Woodrow Floyd
STIGLER — Woodrow Franklin Floyd, 84, of Stigler died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004. He graduated from Gans High School in 1946, received his bachelor’s degree from NSU and bachelor’s from OU in education, served as a sergeant in the Air Force, was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, taught school at Stigler and Bartlesville.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Main Street Baptist Church with burial at Antioch cemetery in Stigler under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife Mary; two daughters, Gail Green of Talihina and Anita Eden of Oklahoma City; a sister, Velma Story of Muskogee, Okla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Pat Clement, Larry Godfrey, Bobby Cariker, Jack Morgan, Jack Nash and Chuck Forrester.
The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to noon today.
Shirley Dugan
POCOLA — Shirley A. Dugan, 62, of Pocola, formerly of Charleston, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born May 18, 1941, in Charleston. She was a housekeeper at St. Edward hospital.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial at Morris cemetery in Bloomer.
She is survived by her husband, Glen; two daughters, Janette Fuqua of Greenbrier and Beverly Hayes of Conway; three sons, Billy Powell of Charleston, Dakota and Jackson Dugan, both of the home; her mother, Wilma Berry of Bloomer; two sisters, Geneva Owens and Linda Irvin, both of Bloomer; three brothers, Billy Berry of Barling, Sidney and Buster Berry, both of Bloomer; and 16 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Howard, Larry Burris, Eldon and Robert Dugan, David Tucker and Joel Pierce.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Euna Hamilton
BOONEVILLE — Euna Marie Hamilton, 76, of Booneville, formerly of Camden, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Magazine.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today at Pentecostal Church of God in Magazine and services at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God in El Dorado with burial at Beuna Vista cemetery in Camden under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.
She is survived by her husband, Garland; a daughter, Judith Spears of Camden; two sons, Jimmy Hamilton of Norphlet and Christopher Hamilton of Smackover; three sisters, Betty Elmore of Magazine, Nellie Millwood of Cimarron, Kan., and Mary Frost of Greenwood; a brother, Marcel Hamilton of Story; and two grandchildren.
Truman Smith
SALLISAW — Truman E. Smith, 54, of Sallisaw died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in Sallisaw. He was born Jan. 30, 1949, east of Sallisaw. He was a longtime mechanic in Sallisaw area and for Hastings Motor Co., McDonald Bros. Chevrolet and was employed by Roberts Salvage and a Protestant.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Brent cemetery south of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son, Brandon Smith of Lexington, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Shari Huffman of Sallisaw; a stepson, Christopher Huffman of Van Buren; five sisters, Juanita Stuart of Muldrow, Gracie Stoll of Denair, Calif., Shirley Mauldin and Hazel Long, both of Sallisaw, and Georgia Robison of Liberty; five brothers, Bert Smith of Oakdale, Calif., Robert, Don, Buster and E.W. Smith, all of Sallisaw; and two grandchildren.

Alton Speaks
OZONE — Alton Earnest Speaks. 64, of Ozone died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in his home. He was born Feb. 25, 1939, in Mount Herman, Okla. He was an Army veteran of the Vietname War, a graduate of Van-Cove High School and a former instructor with Army Security Agency.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Minnow Creek cemetery in Lamar under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie; two daughters, Venita Kee of Kilgore, Texas, and Yvonne Speaks of Ozone; three sisters, Bonnie Baker of Dardanelle, Mattie Jones of Longview, Texas, and Ruby Barton of Arp, Texas; a brother, Carl Speaks of Arp, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

SPIRO — George Junior Moody, 69, of Spiro died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, in Fort Smith.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; four daughters, Gail Harris, Kathy Taylor and Darlean Hutchins, all of Spiro, and Waynell Kellogg of Paris, Texas; five sons, David, Kenneth, George and Gary Moody, all of Spiro, and Allen Moody of Cameron; six sisters, Ruby Pendergrass of Cameron, Gay Lamberson of Shady Point, Pearl Sullivan of Oregon, Uela Shaftwell of California, Mae Claunts of Waldron and Eula Pool of California; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Gwethlyn McCray of Santa Maria, Calif., and Kelly Grant of Van Buren; two sons, Jerry Radley of Mulberry and Marvin Radley of Stinnett, Texas; a sister, Patricia Stewart of Fort Smith; a brother, George Ball of Cottage Grove, Wis.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

HOT SPRINGS — Kimberly Jean Plymale, 27, of Hot Springs died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Little Rock. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; a son, Mohammed Plymale of the home; her mother, Brenda Parrish of Fort Smith; two sisters, Haley Johnson of Fort Smith and Michelle West of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Eric Johnson, David and Michael Fines, all of Fort Smith; and her maternal grandmother, Annie Howard of Dallas.
Elgie Watson
OARK — Elgie May Watson, 77, of Oark died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and the widow of Clay Watson.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mossville Church with burial at Mossville cemetery in Mossville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Wood of Oark and Lorene Clark of Winslow; a brother, Olen Young of Deer; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; six daughters, Kim Casey of Cove, Jennifer Hopper, Misty Harwood, Jody and Katie Oglesby, all of Wickes, and Jamie Copelin of Mena; two sons, Michael Oglesby of Wickes and Chris Pierce of Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister, Minnie Littell of Wickes; a brother, Dale Oglesby of Gillham; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

DANVILLE — Larene Linn Kennedy, 79, of Danville died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, in a Little Rock hospital. She was a retired teacher, a member of Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and Danville United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Danville United Methodist Church with burial at Earl Ladd cemetery in Danville under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville.
She is survived by her husband, Al; a daughter, Joan Jones of Magazine; two sons, Jim Kennedy of Russellville and Tom Kennedy of Little Rock; a sister, Hazel Wood of Morganton; and six grandchildren.

Glen Adamson, 57, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in his home. He was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Joplin, Mo.

Majel Harris
HARTFORD — Majel L. Harris, 90, of Hartford died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, in Greenwood. He was an industrial electrician, a 50-year member of the IBEW, a 33rd degree Mason, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 609 in Hartford, the Western Arkansas Consistory, the Scottish Rite Bodies and Hartford First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hartford First Baptist Church with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Hartford.
He is survived by his wife, Margie; a daughter, Patricia Robinson of Hartford; a son, Dr. Tom Harris of Hartford; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carl Hoopengarner, Johnny Harp, Steve White, Kennith Carter, Jim Gossett and Tommy Burns.

Jimmy Reves
HATFIELD — Jimmy Douglas Reves, 68, of Hatfield died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, in a Little Rock hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1935, in McCurtain County. He served in the Army, was a policeman and a logger.
The body was sent for cremation under the direction of Hall Funeral Service of Mena.
He is survived by three sisters, Doris Miller of Fort Worth, Texas, Juanita Bartell of Idaho and Gale Parks of Gillham; three brothers, David Reves of Talihina, Dale Reves of Wickes and Joe Reves of Reno, Nev.
Martha McQuain
Martha “Marty” Mackey McQuain, 84, of Fort Smith passed away, Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. She received the Spirit of the Frontier Award in December of 1997 from the City of Fort Smith. She was a member of the American Legion Ellig-Stouffer Post No. 31. She was the first woman post commander in 1985, past state commander of the American Legion, life member of the American Legion and VFW and the International Women Veteran’s Association, ANIVICUS. She served on the Governor’s task force for Veterans Affairs and was a member of the National cemetery Land acquisition committee. She was a charter member of the Arkansas State Women’s Senior Golf Association and past president of the Lady’s Golf Association at Ben Geren, Van Buren, Fort Chaffee and Fianna Hills. She was an Army veteran of World War II with a rank of captain. Her assignments included duty in Africa, Italy, France, Belgium, England, and Switzerland. She saw duty as a Drill Team Commander, winning the Atlantic Seaboard Competition, Company Commander of two different companies and as a battalion adjutant. She was in the Signal Corps and commanded the only all WAC Signal Center in the world in Caserta, Italy. Moving on to France, she commanded the Signal Center in Dijion, France, for the Southern Line of Communications (SOLOC) which included both male and females troops, she received the Bronze Star, she also earned two Battle Stars, one for the Rome-Amo Campaign and one for the Rhineland Campaign. She was the only female in World War II to receive the French Signal Corps Decoration. She served as a Top Secret Cryptographic Security Officer in both Italy and France. She was the widow of Col. Gordon E. McQuain Sr.
Funeral will be noon today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Bruce McQuain of Dacula, Ga., Douglas McQuain of St. Louis and Gordon McQuain Jr. of Fort Smith; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the American Post No. 31.
