POCOLA — Robert Lynn Clark, 49, of Pocola died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Pocola. He was born Oct. 12, 1954, in Ardmore, Okla. He was a member of the Pocola Christian Fellowship, where he served as head deacon for 11 years. He was a registered lab technician for 25 years.
Funerals will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pocola Christian Fellowship and 2 p.m. Tuesday at Province Assembly of God in Ardmore. Burial will be at Lone Cedar cemetery in Ardmore. Local arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn; two daughters, Alejandra Clark of Fort Smith and Angela Clark of Ardmore; his father, Robert Clark of Ardmore; and a sister, Shirley Box of Edmond.
The family will visit with friends until 9 p.m. today at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Pocola and from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home in Ardmore.

Theresa Harris
POTEAU — Theresa R. Harris, 40, of Poteau died Thursday March 11, 2004, in Poteau. She was born Feb. 14, 1964, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Graveside service was Saturday at Ellis Chapel cemetery in Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, Clint; a son, Wesley Harris of the home; a daughter, Heather Covey of Wister; her father, Wesley Wilkerson of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Glenda Jordan and Sherry McCurdy, both of Midland, and Rae Kirby of Texarkana; and two brothers, Tim Wilkerson of Midland and Steve Wilkerson of Texarkana.

Louannie Lowery
PARIS — Louannie Lowery, 85, of Paris died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Paris. She was a retired general laborer at the Pants Factory in Paris and a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. She was the widow of Ted Lowery.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at Baxley cemetery in Paris.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Barnett of Van Buren, Rita Grigsby of Danville and Velta Whitley of Paris; a son, A.B. Lowery of Subiaco; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Creager, Ronnie Mayfield, Eugene Felker, Nathan Berna, Troy Grigsby and Johnny McConnell.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Harold Carey
Harold Dennis Carey, 86, of Van Buren, formerly of Lawton, Okla., died Friday, March 12, 2004, in his home. He retired from civil service at the Department of the Army in Fort Sill, Okla. in 1973. After his retirement, he lived in Van Buren during the summer months and had a winter home at Siesta Retirement Village in Weslaco, Texas, where he published a monthly newsletter. He was a member of BPOE, Kiwanis, American Legion, 40 et 8, NARFFE and AARP. He joined the Lawton BPOE Lodge in 1950 and received a 50-year membership pin in 2000. He was Oklahoma Elks state president in 1964.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery in Lawton under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Toegel Carey; two daughters, Pat Gardner of Van Buren and Virginia Calise of Fort Smith; a son, Charles Carey of Bastrop, Texas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the Elks Lodge in Lawton.

James Wilkins
James Lee Wilkins, 70, of Van Buren died Saturday, March 13, 2004, in a local hospital. He was a self-employed mechanic and a lifelong resident of Crawford County.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; a daughter, Delinda Davis of Van Buren; a son Ricky Wilkins of Van Buren; a sister, Pam Wilson of Sallisaw; a brother G.W. Wilkins of Sallisaw; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Hatcher, Steve Johnson, Ferran McDowell, John Richards, David Turner and Jerry Wilkins.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Versa Johnston
SALLISAW — Versa Lee Johnston, 89, of Sallisaw died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 3, 1914, in the Akins community. She was a homemaker, a cook at Fig Tree Restaurant and a home child caretaker. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2004, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Akins cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by five daughters, Shirley Gewin and Mattie Hargett, both of Oklahoma City, Sally Odom of Baytown, Texas, Christine Ortiz of Clovis, N.M., and Michelle Hardbarger of Sallisaw; three sons, James Baldridge of Smithtown, N.Y., and Curtis and Robert Baldridge, both of Sallisaw; three sisters, Agnes Sasser of Sand Springs, Okla., Bernice Owen of Sallisaw and Norma Hill of Fort Smith; two foster brothers, Kenneth Whitworth of Muskogee, Okla., and George Whitworth of Colorado; 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Jamison, Sam McCawley, Josh and Ronnie Odom, David Dunn, Darrell Johnson, Jimmy Sanders and Raymond Hardbarger.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1101 N. Wheeler, Sallisaw, OK 74955, or Professional Home Hospice, Attn: Memorial Fund, 507 E. Redwood, Sallisaw, OK 74955.

Kendall Wilsey
MULDROW — Kendall Donald Wilsey, 43, of Muldrow died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in a local hospital. He was an Army veteran, an automotive engineer and a Lutheran.
The body was cremated under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; a daughter, Ashley Owens of Oklahoma City; a son, Blake Wilsey; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lisa Wilsey, 47 Saddleback Way, Muldrow, OK 74948.

Arthur Nelson
Arthur Raymond Nelson, 92 of Van Buren died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 26, 1911, in Fort Smith. He was a retired furniture designer for Haywood Wakefield Furniture in Los Angeles.
Burial will be Monday at Tollwood cemetery in Eldon, Mo., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; and a brother, Carl Nelson of Hemet, Calif.
The family will visit with friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Cal Ewing
BELLA VISTA — Cal Ewing, 90, of Bella Vista died Friday, March 12, 2004, in a hospital. He was a member of Oak Grove Masonic Lodge in California and a member of the Musician Association.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Alma City cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a son, Kae Ewing of New Port Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Marcella Sebo
SPIRO — Marcella Phillips Sebo, 78, of Spiro died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Spiro. She was a homemaker.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spiro First Assembly of God with burial at New Hope cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew; two daughters, Andrea Eaton and Nellie Carlson of Long Beach, Calif.; a son, James Sebo of Spiro; four brothers, Hiram Phillips of Livermore, Calif., Ralph Phillips of Austin, Texas, and George and Marvin Phillips, both of Visalia, Calif.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby, Brian and Nicholas Eaton, Michael and Kenneth Sebo and Richard Phillips.
The body may be viewed from noon to 6 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home.

Hattie Otwell
GREENWOOD — Hattie Canada Otwell, 84, of Greenwood died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in her home. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the widow of James William Otwell Sr.
A private service was held Saturday at Mount Harmony cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by four daughters, Charlotte Boyster of Hartford, Gloria Boyster of Bonanza and Patricia Smith and Negretta Dye, both of Greenwood; two sons, James Otwell Jr. of Booneville and John Otwell of Fort Smith; two sisters, Margie Garner of Van Buren and Edith Bobbitt of Greenwood; two brothers, George and Bobby King, both of Fort Smith; 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayland Hurd, Daniel and William Dye, Henry Boyster Jr., Thomas Boyster and Haven Gillooley.

Coye Lorraine Pearce Schirmer
Coye Lorraine Pearce Schirmer, born to Grover Cleveland and Audie Catherine McCoy Pearce in Little Rock on Feb. 7, 1916, passed away March 11, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Roy Edmund Schirmer. She was an alumna of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas Medical School of Medical Technology. She was an alumna of Delta Gamma sorority, a Presbyterian and member of the Sebastian County Medical Alliance.
She is survived by her son, Roy Edmund Schirmer Jr. and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Gregg Schirmer of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Richard Edmund Schirmer and Sarah Caitlin Schirmer, both of Fort Smith.
Graveside services will held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Katie Kern
Katie Kern, 93, of Morrison Bluff, formerly of Fort Smith, died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Paris of natural causes. She was a retired nanny and member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Caietan and Elizabeth (Bramble) Kern; two sisters, Frances Kern and Angeline Schmitz; and two brothers, Matt and John Kern.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2004, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Morrison Bluff. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Morrison Bluff with burial at the St. Peter and Paul cemetery in Morrison Bluff under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and George Tencleve of Morrison Bluff; nieces, nephews and their spouses and children; and the children of her longtime employers, Rudd and Ann Ross, who are Randall Viguet, Ann Pestel, Mary Jule Crouse, Sue Cross and Rudd Ross Jr.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Mary Bohn
OZARK — Mary Juanita Lindsey Bohn, 64, of Ozark died Thursday, March 11, 2004. She was born Aug. 11, 1939, in Mountain Top. She was retired from the food service industry, a Protestant and the widow of William Bohn.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Highland cemetery in Ozark.
She is survived by three daughters, Ann Clark of Lenexa, Kan., Donna Davis of Tanganoxie, Kan., and Susan Wood of Lecompton, Kan.; a son, David Nichols of Lawrence, Kan.; four sisters, Jewell Woolsey of Russellville, Alice Hiner of Red Bluff, Calif., Ruby Wyers of Stockport, Ohio, and Linda Ryan of Mulberry; a brother, Floyd Lindsey of Springdale; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold and Darrell Lindsey, Robert Woolsey, Dennis Pender, Glen Warren and Joey Ruston.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Margaret Eskridge
POTEAU — Margaret Dale Eskridge, 72, of Poteau died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in a Tulsa hospital. She was born June 10, 1931, in Ross. She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Poteau and a retired Wal-Mart associate.
Graveside service was 4 p.m. Friday at Oakland cemetery in Poteau with burial under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Eskridge; a daughter, Laura Johnson of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sons, Robert Eskridge of Carrollton, Texas, and Lynn Eskridge of Dallas; a brother, Noel Dale of Russellville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity or FDCA of choice.
