LOUISE JACOBS
Louise Jacobs, 95, of Van Buren died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren and a member and secretary-treasurer of Gladys Rebekah Lodge 56 of Van Buren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by one daughter, Lois Stock of Hement, Calif.; one son, Mastin Jacobs of Houston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren.

ROBERT SYFERT
CLARKSVILLE — Robert E. Syfert, 58, of Clarksville died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, in a Little Rock hospital. He was retired from the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Department, where he served for 26 years. He was also retired from Syfert Oil Co., which he owned and operated for 16 years. He was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge 9 and the Fort Smith Consistory Club, was a 32nd degree Mason and had served on the Boys Club Board of Directors.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Oakland cemetery in Clarksville, under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shepherd Syfert; one daughter, Robin Young of Clarksville; one son, Brian of Clarksville; one sister, Linda Lawrence of Melbourne; one brother, Gary of Van Buren; and four grandchildren, Tara and Blake Young and Saylor and Hunter Syfert, all of Clarksville.
Honorary pallbearers will be members and retired members of the Clarksville Fire Department.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial conributions may be made to First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 1400 W. Cherry St., Clarksville, AR 72830.

DORIS BROWN
Doris Jeanette Brown, 66, of Fort Smith died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a retired employee of Medi-Homes on Rogers and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lewis Funeral Chapel with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter, Jan Molnar of Van Buren; one son, Mike Brown of Brookings, S.D.; and eight grandchildren, Logan, Lacy and Markie Garner, Whitney and Hunter Brown, Todd Cross and Cody and Ashley Pratt.
Pallbearers will be Irvin Pratt, Miki Molnar, Todd Cross, Jim Davis, Gary Brown and Logan Garner. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HAZEL DUNCAN
MONROE — Hazel Duncan, 80, of Monroe died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a member of the Monroe Assembly of God Church. She was the widow of Riley Duncan.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Howe with burial at Howe cemetery, under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Dill of Monroe; one son, Allen Dwight Duncan of Howe; four sisters, Imogene Jones and Irene Stacy, both of Howe, Virginia Leeper of Spiro and Leona Dolf of McAlester, Okla.; three brothers, Harlen Faulkenberry and Marvin “Joe” Faulkenberry, both of McAlester, and Dude Faulkenberry of Coweta, Okla.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

EMILY FUELL
Emily Kay Fuell, infant daughter of Leon and Sunday Kaye Ringer Fuell of Van Buren, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in a Little Rock hospital.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Brearley cemetery in Dardanelle, under the direction of Dardanelle Funeral Service.
She is survived by her parents; one brother, William Patrick Fuell of the home; her grandparents, Howard and Dinah Ringer of Dardanelle and Frank and Mary Jo Fuell of Booneville; and her great-grandparents, Lorene Butler of Dardanelle, David Berger of Creighton, Mo., and Ada Bea Ramsey of Booneville.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel.

BEE JONES
POTEAU — Bee Ruth Jones, 93, of Poteau died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in her home. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was the widow of Richard M. Jones.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Oakland cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Elsie M. Denton of Fort Smith.

SYLVIA DURHAM
BOONEVILLE — Sylvia Irene Durham, 89, of Booneville died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Booneville School District for 36 years. She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and Kappa Kappa Iota Teachers Sorority and a charter member of the Logan County Teacher Association and the Marcella Garden Club. She was the widow of Ralph Durham.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Roberts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with burial at Oak Hill cemetery in Booneville.
She is survived by one sister, Mima Dunn of Charleston.

MAGDALENE DAVIS
WARSAW, Mo. — Magdalene K. Davis, 80, of Warsaw, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in Clinton, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Club of Benton County (Warsaw) and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus.
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus with burial at Nichols Chapel cemetery in Altus under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel F. Davis; one sister, Sally Jenderson of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

BEATRICE PARKER
RUDY — Beatrice P. Parker, 56, of Rudy died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of Earnest Parker Sr.
Funeral was Friday at Central Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Mayberry cemetery in Central under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Brewer of Van Buren and Rita Nowotny of Natural Dam; one son, Earnest Parker Jr. of Rudy; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas Brewer, Matthew and Jermey Nowotny and Ashton, Kaitlyn, Kirsten and Mason Parker.
Pallbearers were Matthew and Jeremy Nowotny, Nicholas Brewer, Kyle Fairfield, Brad Baggett and Brandon Shumard.

KON CREES
MENA — Kon Von Crees, 43, of Mena died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in Dallas. He was a truck driver, an Arkansas certified boiler and a Lutheran.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Board Camp cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Services of Mena.
He is survived by three sisters, Koya Lisa Hatfield and Karen Medford, both of Mena and Karen Warren of Black Springs; one brother, Sam Crees of Mena; and several nieces and nephews.

REBA STOREY
GRANNIS — Reba Mae Storey, 77, of Grannis died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in DeQueen. She was an employee of Pangburn Candy Factory in Fort Worth, Texas, and of the Assembly of God faith.
Funeral was Friday in Baker Rock Church in Wickes with burial at Baker cemetery under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers were John Roberts, Don, Jimmy and L.C. Richardson, Burl Hedge, Bill Stewart and Leon Loyd.

CLYDE LANCASTER
CHARLESTON — Clyde Lancaster, 82, of Charleston died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in his home. He was a retired electrician with the Civil Service. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Salt Lake City during World War II. He was a member of V.F.W., a semi-pro baseball player and a Navy boxer. He was a member of the USS Salt Lake City Survivors Association.
The body was donated to medical science. Local arrangements under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
He is survived by one daughter, Jan Simmons of Douglas, Texas; two sons, Dennis Clyde Lancaster of Rockport, Texas, and Ronald Lancaster of Cedar Hill, Texas; one sister, Arlene Loyd of Fort Smith; two brothers, Clarence of Booneville and Clifford of Palestine, Texas; four grandchildren, Edward Allen Green, Joseph Clyde Lancaster, Jeffrey Scott Lancaster and Nikki Rae Gerhart; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House, 3324 S. M St., Fort Smith, AR 72903.

NORMAN LEACH
Norman Leach, 78, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in a local nursing home. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church .
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Van Buren with burial at the U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; two daughters, Linda Bryant and Denice Leach, both of Alisa Viejo, Calif.; one son, Jim of Tulsa; two sisters, Loretta Lucas of Dunnillon, Fla., and Betty Bailey of Culpepper, Va.; and three grandchildren, Lisa Sipan and Shawn and Nick Leach.
Pallbearers will be Jim and Shawn Leach, Nathen Sipan, Bill Swindle, Paul Lehnen and Arnold Bogner.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

JESSIE McKINNEY
STIGLER — Jessie McKinney, 85, of Stigler died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in Stigler. She was a member of Stigler Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of Jene Harrell McKinney.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler with burial at Stigler cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Goff and Mary Ladd; three sons, Floyd, Glen and William; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony Keifer, Billy and Eric Ladd, Clay Mason, Joe Smith and Lance McKinney.
Viewing will be at the funeral home.

MISANNI LEWIS
Misanni Lewis, 83, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a member of Sparks Auxiliary and Central Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of Paul Lewis.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. today at Central Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith with a private family burial at Forest Park cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula Kay Sizemore of Dallas; and two grandchildren, Charles Lewis Sizemore and Lindsay Anne Sizemore, both of Dallas.
Viewing will be from noon until 9 p.m. today and all day Sunday.

Margaret “Peggy” Werley, 69, of Fort Smith died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
Rosary will be 6 p.m. Sunday at Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at Holy Cross cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Shannon Houston of Fort Smith, Katy Morris of Conway and Molly Anderson of Rudy; three sons, Steve of Fort Smith, Jim of Burleson, Texas, and Dan of Fort Worth, Texas; four sisters, Mary Lily Cole of Westland, Mich., Pat Hodo and June Smith, both of Garland, Texas, and Joyce Bower of Gilmer, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Gene, Pete and Nicholas Anderson, Matt Houston, Thomas and Jacob Erbach and Victor, Zac and Michael Werley.
