Marcine Hamilton
Marcine Hamilton, 54, of Fort Smith died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mountain View cemetery in Hackett.
She is survived by a daughter, Becky Vail of Henryetta, Okla.; two sons, Mark and Arley Sly, both of Fort Smith; a brother, Jack Gossett of Bartlesville, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark and Arley Sly and Jeff and Kenny Gossett.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Ocie Eubanks
PARIS — Ocie Eubanks, 92, of Paris died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Paris First Assembly of God. She was the widow of Dewey Eubanks.
Funeral will be 4:30 p.m. today at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial at Eubanks cemetery west of Cecil.
She is survived by two daughters, Naomi Kisner of Camarillo, Calif., and Mary Bell of Hot Springs; three sisters, Marie Rollans of Alma, Dollie Rice of Charleston and Helen Cook of Springfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Luther Parham, Russell Bell, Joe Rollans, Paul Upchurch and Chad Laws.

William Boyd
TILLY COMMUNITY — William S. Boyd, 80, of Tilly Community in Pope County died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, in Russellville. He was born May 23, 1922, in Nogo. He was a retired owner and operator of a tree service in Los Angeles and worked as a masonry worker, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Tilly Pentecostal Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Tilly Pentecostal Church with burial at Zion Hill cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell; a daughter, Betty Robinson of Fort Smith; two sisters, Edith Brown of Tilly and Wilma Jean Oakes of Searcy; a brother, Odell Boyd of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, Scott Thomlison and Stacy Greenfield, both of Fort Smith, and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Buckner, Steve Smith, Darrell McDonald, Jerry Brown, Gene and David Boyd.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.. today at the funeral home.

Sam Ramey
Sam Ramey, 79, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, in a local hospital. He was a retired ship-yard machinist in Hunters Point, Calif., an Army veteran of World War II, a Purple Heart recipient, a staff sergeant, a D.A.V. life member, of the Christian Science faith and attended Faith United Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Faith United Methodist Church with burial of cremains at Barling cemetery in Barling under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; two daughters, Sammie Elizabeth Kaiser of Stockton, Calif. and Lillian A. Silverstone of Fort Smith; one sister, Mary Helen Blaylock of Rabun Gap, Ga.; four grandchildren, Sam, Jon and Mary Beth Silverstone and Nicholas Kaiser; and one stepgrandchild, Robert Silverstone.
Pallbearers will be Bill Cross, Norman and Paul Norvell, Jack Cleavenger, Tim Chapman and Scotter Wakefield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 2901 Massard Road, Fort Smith, AR 72903.

Wilma Lackey
PLACENTIA, Calif. — Wilma Lackey, 89, of Placentia, Calif., formerly of Fort Smith, died Monday, March 29, 1999, in Placentia. She was affiliated with First Lutheran Church.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. today at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Worden of Placentia; two nieces, Wilma Harvey of Ventura, Calif. and Patti Menefee of Brandonburg, Ky.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, 419 N. 12th, Fort Smith, AR. 72901.

Jessie Foster
RUSSELLVILLE — Jessie Lee Foster, 91, of Russellville died Friday, March 26, 1999, in Clarksville. She was a Methodist, homemaker and the widow of Clyde Foster.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Exxium Tabernacle CME Church in Russellville with burial at Reed cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by one daughter, Pearlene Odom of Hawthorne, Nev.; five granddaughters, Cecilia James of Russellville, Marilyn Austin and Faye Holmes of Fort Smith and Shirley Trowell and Toni McNell of Sparks, Nev.; and four grandsons, Cecil Foster Jr. of Russellville and Darrell Odom, Ray Odom and James Ruel Odom, all of Hawthorne, Nev.
Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
The body may be viewed from11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

J.C. Polk
J.C. Kenneth Polk, 67, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, in a local hospital. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a Baptist and retired Captain of the Fort Smith Fire Department after 24 years of service.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Polk; one son, Kenneth of Van Buren; three sisters, Lauren Salakar and Vera Jean Hutchins, both of Fort Smith and Charlette Johnson of Shady Point, Okla.; one uncle, Willis Goldsmith of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Michael Polk and Carrie Wagnon, both of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be members of the Fort Smith Fire Department.

Tammy Yancy
BARLING — Tammy Gail Yancy, 41, of Barling, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in Duluth, Ga. She was the national distribution manager for Data National in Fort Smith and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Barling City cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Jody; one daughter, Causha Van Ness of Barling; one son, Royce Van Ness of Springdale; three sisters, Jeri Gilliam of Van Buren, Shawnee Duplichan of Kinder, La., and Jackie Matney of Barling; three brothers, Danny Gilliam of Kinder, La., Randy Gilliam of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Micky Gilliam of Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Woody and Brian Matney, Mike and Cory Duplichan, Jeremy DeLeon and Toby Gilliam.
The family visited with friends Sunday.

Henry Cagle
OZARK — Henry Edgar Cagle, 71, of Ozark, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Ozark. He was a retired farmer and plumber.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Full Gospel Temple Church, with burial at Mount View cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie; three sons, Charles, Henry and Harmon, all of Ozark; four sisters, Gladys Barham of Tulsa, Lula McKinney, Delphia McKinney and Betty Wood, all of Ozark; one brother, Thurman Cagle of Ozark; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Willie and Archie Don Davis, James Aich, Floyd Arnold, Rickey McKinney and Junior Cagle.
Family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Joyce Moore
ALMA — Joyce Ann Ashby Moore, 42, of Alma died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in a local hospital. She was a former waitress at Ed Walker’s Drive-In and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma, with burial at Locke cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherri Long of Pueblo, Colo.; her mother and stepfather, Mary A. and Tony Williams of Alma; one brother, Wayne Ashby of Alma; and one grandchild, Kiya Ann Long of Pueblo, Colo.
Pallbearers will be Paul Bruce Jr., David and Donald Bruce, Mark Wakefield, Rickey Williams and Eric McDonald.
The family will visit with friends 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Dorothy Atkinson
CARLSBAD, N.M. — Dorothy Mae “Granny” Atkinson, 78, of Carlsbad, N.M., died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, in Lubbock, Texas. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Guadalupe Medical Center in Carlsbad and various home health care agencies. She was a member of Standpipe Road Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bokoshe Methodist Church in Bokoshe, Okla., with burial at Miner’s cemetery in McCurtain, Okla., under the direction of Denton-Funchess Funeral Home of Carlsbad, N.M.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Barbara Clark of Bueno Park, Calif., and Raye Miller of Concord, N.C.; one son, Kennith of Burke, Va.; two brothers, William G. Sprouse and Horace Sprouse, both of Sallisaw; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bartley, Samuel Clark, Matthew Atkinson, Shawn B. Miller, Cody Miller and Joe Jordan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Standpipe Road Baptist Church in memory of Granny Atkinson.

Nolas Wilson
DANVILLE — Nolas Exton Wilson, 77, of Danville died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999 in Baptist Medical Center. He was a retired minister and World War II Navy veteran.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 1999 in Danville with burial at Earl Ladd cemetery in Danville under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville.
He is survived by one daughter, Sue Neeley of Ola; two sons, Larry of Belleville and Rick of Alma; one sister, Beatrice Millerof of Danville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Louis Spangler
MULBERRY — Louis Edward Spangler, 63, of Mulberry died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fayetteville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a truck driver for 40 years and drove for Circle C Trucking. He was a Baptist and a resident of Crawford County for 16 years.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 in Ocker of Alma Chapel with burial under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma of Alma.
He is survived by his wive Sharon; four daughters, Debra Lee and Cheryl, Melissa Sue Moss of West Virgina, Heather Orth of Ohio; one son, James Edward; his mother, Vera of Missouri; one brother, Roy of Missouri; and nine grandchildren.

Duman Wilson
ALMA — Duman Wilson, 92, of Alma died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in a nursing home. He was a member of the Dean Springs Church of Christ of Alma and life member of Fine Springs Masonic Lodge No. 439. He was a veteran of World War II in the 52nd Naval Construction Battalion (Seabees).
Graveside service will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at the U.S. National cemetery of Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by one sister, Anna Lee Wilson Singleton of El Cajan, Calif.; one grandchild, Cyrise Burger of Pinole, Calif.; one great-grandson, Ryan Burger of Pinole; and several nieces and nephews.
