MENA — Juanita Page, 77, of Mena died Friday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Little Rock. She was born March 22, 1927, in Fort Myers, Fla. She was an auto store clerk and a member of the Eastern Stars and was of the Methodist faith. She was the widow of C.J. Page.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Mena with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
She is survived by a daughter, Carleta Martin of Mena; a brother, Junior Blair of Mena; and one grandchild.
The family will visit with friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Mena.
Pallbearers will be Bob Carver, George Stell Jr., Jeremy Thornton, Wingo Johnson and Steve and Keith Blair.
Myrtis Rowe
Mytis Marie Rowe, 86, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was a retried saleswoman for J.C. Penney, a member of Cavanaugh Freewill Baptist Church and the widow of Doyle Rowe.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel in Camden with burial at Chidester cemetery in Camden. Local arrangements are under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a son, Austin Rowe of Fort Smith; a sister, Lela Turner of West Memphis; and two grandchildren.
Georgia Hendrix
CLARKSVILLE — Georgia H. Hendrix, 82, of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in an area hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Baldwin. After her retirement from Quality Cleaners in alterations she did alterations in her home for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the widow of Wilburn Hendrix.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Hill cemetery in Hunt under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by a sister, Bonnie Pyron of Clarksville; and a brother, Johnny Little of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Charles, Gene, Darrell and Chad Over, Brian Covington and Steven Campbell.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Robert Shockley
GREENWOOD — Robert Shockley, 61, of Greenwood died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a salesman and a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson cemetery in Milltown.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynsey Shockley of Tulsa; his parents, Everett and Imogene Shockley of Greenwood; and a sister, Joyce Wilson of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Roe, Ed DeCroo, Winston Nichols, Stanly Trotter, Mike Cobb and Jim Meeks.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Flora Wood
Flora G. Wood, 77, of Fort Smith died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Smith and the widow of Haskel Wood.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with burial at Forest park cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Robyn Wood of Fort Smith; and two sisters, Joan Shelby and Zella Richards, both of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be David and Douglas Hardgrave, Aaron Mastropaolo and John and Connor Richards.
Bob Del Clark
Bob Del Clark, 68, of Fort Smith passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church and a salesman for Simple Simon’s Pizza. Bob Clark was a loving and supportive family man. His joy came from watching his children and then grandchildren in school and sport activities. He was the picture of optimism — never having anything but a smile on his face and saying, “Everything’s great.” He was loved dearly and will be missed very much. We are thankful our “Papa” is rejoicing in heaven with the Lord.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grand Avenue Baptist Church with burial at Oak cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; two sons, Stan Clark and his wife Mendy of Fort Smith, and Ken Clark and his wife Christy of Muldrow; six grandchildren, Lindsey Clark of Fayetteville, Jenna Clark of Chicago, Maegan and Tyler Clark, both of Fort Smith, and Kensey and Seth Clark, both of Muldrow; and close family friends Dale Hart and his wife Ireta.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hargrove, Bill Gordon, Danny Gardner, Allen Tate, James DuMont and Randy Lloyd.

Arval L. Barnett, 82, of Mountainburg died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a member of the Fern Assembly of God and was retired from the Burlington Railroad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brunette Lowe Barnett; a son, Kenneth Barnett; a sister, Nell Dyer; and two brothers, Lee and James Barnett.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Locke cemetery near Mountainburg.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Carol Knight of Lincoln and Shirley JoAnn Flanary of Mountainburg; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Barnett of Mountainburg; a sister, Zell Dyer of Alma; a brother, Winfred Barnett of Humbolt, Kan.; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Esther Marie Davenport, 87, of Fort Smith died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in a local hospital.
She was born April 25, 1917, in Rock Rapids, Iowa.
She was a retired employee of Rheem Manufacturing and was of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Davenport.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Brad and wife Kim Davenport of Greenwood and Brent Davenport and wife Robyn of Parker, Colo.; a sister, Frances Schuett of Rock Rapids, Iowa; and three grandchildren, Rachael Davenport of Greenwood and Wyatt and Jolie Davenport, both of Colorado.
Josie Villanueva
Josie Villanueva, 53, of Fort Smith died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in a local hospital.
She was born Nov. 4, 1951, in McAllen, Texas.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. today at Ione Baptist Church in Ione under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. The body was cremated.
She is survived by her husband, Urbano of the home; three sons, Albert, Tony and Carlos Urbano Villanueva, all of Fort Smith; her mother, Noemi Woodard of Ione; three sisters, Janie Ramirez of Greenville, Texas, Delia Turner of Ione and Noemi Ferreiro of San Antonio; three brothers, David Ramirez of Fort Smith, Ernest Amar of Ione and Robert Ferreiro of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
Evelyn Marie Breeden Shibley
Evelyn Marie Breeden Shibley, 86, of Van Buren died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1918, to Calvin and Della Breeden. She spent most of her life as a restaurateur. She began as owner and operator of Shibley’s Cafe in Wittier, Calif., then Dixie Cafe in downtown Van Buren. In retirement, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, quilting, cooking and crafts. Preceded in death was her first husband, Jesse “Arkie” Shibley (who was a recording artist) and second husband, Tom Yerby; her son, Calvin Shibley; and daughter, Dixie Shibley.
Survivors include son, Fred Shibley and his wife, Shirley, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho; a daughter, Bonnie Pacello of Van Buren; a sister, Winnie Wentz of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, with graveside service to follow at Macedonia cemetery.
Betty J. Rankin
Betty J. Rankin, 75, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Van Buren, attended Independence Freewill Baptist Church in Natural Dam. She was a former employee of Whirlpool. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Rankin; and a son, David Lynn Rankin.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by five daughters, Joyce Charline Coomer, Catherine Jean Walker and Nancy Carroll Cooper, all of Van Buren, Charlotte Diane Reason of Rudy and Patricia Ellen Workman of Cedarville; five sons, Glenn Everett Rankin and Kenneth Ray Rankin, both of Van Buren, Calvin McDaniel Rankin of Rudy, Ricky Dale Rankin of Kibler and Charles Wayne Rankin of Barling; a brother, Charles Logan Beals of Cedarville; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be David Symonds, Ron Smith, Dennis Motes, Ronnie Isam, Danny Spears, Mike Williams and Gary Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Thell Ellison, Ronnie Sparkman and Harlen Wagnon.
Elizabeth A. Quick
Elizabeth A. Quick passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in San Pedro, Calif. Elizabeth, lovingly known as Skip, was a 50-year resident of San Pedro and was born in Hartford on June 20, 1918. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Garrett Quick; and her brothers, Bob and Johnny Patterson.
She is survived by two sons, John and Garrett “Ernie” Quick; one brother, Hugh Lowrimore of Huntington; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Lowrimore of Huntington and Ruth Patterson of San Padro, Calif.; one niece, Delores Contreras; four nephews, Fred and John D. Quick, Walter and Timmy Lowrimore; many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Faith Chapel in Hartford with interment at Hartford Memorial cemetery.
J.T. Young
J.T. Young, 80, lifelong resident of Rudy, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, in his home. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and a Pentecost.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mount McCurry cemetery in Rudy.
He is survived by his wife, Isabelle of the home; three sons, Johnny Ray Young and Darrell Young of Alma, and Terry Young of Fort Smith; two sisters, Billie Smith of Alma and Goldie Burkhart of Rudy; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

PARIS — David Hice, 50, of Paris died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, in Paris. He was an auto mechanic and attended First Assembly of God in Paris.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at McVay cemetery in Paris.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Hice of Kansas City, Mo., and Amanda Hice of Sikeston, Mo.; a son, Raymond Hice of Hinesville, Ga.; a sister, Mary Ames of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Thomas Hice of Watts, Okla., and Jimmy Hice of Sikeston, Mo.; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Wilkerson, Jamie Wells, David Corley Jr., Allen Jackson, Joe Kelso and Rob Grigsby.
