Laura Caraccia
Laura Bolin Caraccia, 30, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was an accountant for Beall Barclay, a board member of the Community Rescue Mission and a graduate of Lavaca High School and Arkansas State University.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Ericka Scoggins of the home; a son, Peter Caraccia of the home; her mother, Billie Bolin of Lavaca; a brother, Eric Bolin of Lavaca; and maternal grandparents, Irma and Connie McAlvery of Eufaula, Okla.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for her children at BancorpSouth Bank, 7000 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72903.

Judy O’Neal
Judy Clevenger O’Neal, 58, of Fort Smith died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, in her home. She was a member of Bluff Avenue Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Branch. A private family committal will be 10 a.m. Monday at Garden of Memories in Charleston under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff O’Neal of Fort Drum, N.Y., and Jason O’Neal of Charleston; two sisters, Candy Ware of Greenwood and Ann Clevenger of Baltimore; and three grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Nester Tejada
Nester Tejada, 27, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, in Fort Smith.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Edwards Funeral Home with burial in El Salvador.
He is survived by his mother, Vilma Martinez and father, Oscar Tejada; sisters, Rebecca Pacheco, Judith and Maria Tejada, and Wendy Monterroza.

Opal Lowe
GREENWOOD — Opal Marie Lowe, 92, of Greenwood died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, in Greenwood. She was retired from Ace Comb Co., a member of Washburn Methodist Church and the widow of Fred Lowe.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Washburn Methodist Church with burial at Washburn cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Glover, Danny Scharbor, Floyd and Ray Webb, Kenny Lewis and Dennis McCartney.

Renna Santacroe
Renna Santacroce, 90, of Van Buren died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was a retired restaurant owner, of the Catholic faith and the widow of Robert Santacroce.
Funeral will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Tanguay of Van Buren; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Briley, Larry and John Burgett, Dale and Vinson Wagnon and Paul Brown.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Suzanne Hill
ALMA — Suzanne Taylor Hill, 73, of Alma died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 8. 1931, in Riverside, Calif. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Alma, where she was a member of the choir, a former employee of Coleman Pharmacy and the Alma Public Library, a volunteer at Sparks Regional Medical Center and the widow of James Hill.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Alma United Methodist Church with burial at Pope cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorinda Stewart of Van Buren and Jennifer Mullins of Alma; four sons, Jim Hill of Pauls Valley, Okla., Chris Hill of Van Buren, Dana and Shawn Hill, both of Alma; her mother, Ruth Taylor of Fort Smith; a brother, Ted Taylor of Fort Smith; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim, Chris, Dana, Shawn and Miles Hill, Tom Wofford and Joe Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be the 3/4 India Company Marines in Fallujah, Iraq.

Pauline McCartney
OZARK — Pauline McCartney, 66, of Ozark died Friday, Feb. 25, 005, in Ozark. She was born June 24, 1938, in Ozark. She worked in sanitation at Cargill.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Oak Grove cemetery north of Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
She is survived by her husband, Cloe; two sons, Ray Cowan of Ozark and Ronald Cowan of Mulberry; six sisters, Lilla Keech of Van Buren, Lois Martin and Dean Davis, both of Ozark, Ollie Pledger of Kibler, Faye McGuire of Clarksville and MaryLea Whitehead of Kansas; two brothers, Ronnie Farmer of Scranton and Don Farmer of Ozark; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold Phillips, Wayne McCartney, Curtis Hillard, Bill Moore, Kirby Yates and Randy Markes.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Don Haaser
Don Haaser, 75, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in Branson, Mo. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith, a Navy veteran and a retired independent mail contractor for the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.O. and Mildred Haaser, and one sister, Patsy Jones.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at the U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Jackie; three daughters, Donna Smith and her husband Smitty of Barling, Karen Curnel and her husband Scott of St. Louis and Lisa Klingner and her husband Mike of Branson; two sons, Steve Haaser and his wife Terri of Fort Smith and David Haaser and his wife Regina of Fort Smith; four brothers, Dick Haaser of Little Rock, Jack Haaser of Barling, George Haaser of Montana and Jim Haaser of Fort Smith; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Perrenoud, Jeff Ledbetter, Joel Haaser, Alan Haaser, Tony Smith, Bobby Gray, Zack Curnel and Austin Klingner.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 22 N. 13th St., Fort Smith, AR 72901.

Pauline A. Bradley
Pauline A. Bradley, 76, of Alma died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in Fort Smith. She was born June 9, 1928, in Manus. Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her husband, F.L. Bradley; a daughter, Zona Lain; and her parents, Susie and Hilton Pinkerton.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Johnny Davis of Alma and Alice and Walley Brooks of Deer Park, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Janet Bradley of Pasadena, Texas; two sisters, Geneva Elmore of Huntington and Addie Myers of Van Buren; one brother, Harvie Pinkerton of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hoffman, Billy David Lain, Bradley Brooks, Joshua Bradley, Tim Elmore, Jamie Pinkerton and Dillon Lain.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.

Margie Moody
Margie Moody, 89, of Hackett died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in Oklahoma City. She was retired from Southland Manufacturing and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Moody; one son, Billy Gene Moody; and two brothers, Bud and James Gale.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rock Island Community Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Old Union cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by one son, Alvin Moody of Hackett; one daughter, Vera Holcombe of Bedford, Texas; two sisters, Faye Ivey and Lavanda Mills, both of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hampton, Richard Marks, Kaleb and Devin Kuhl and Roger and Phillip Hamby. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Hamby, Jerry Needham and Gary Shrun.

Anna Katharine Fuchs
Anna Katharine Fuchs, age 95, of Nuermberg, Germany, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, in Schwabach, Germany. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Johannes Wilhelm Fuchs and a member of the Lutheran faith.
Services were held Tuesday in Schwabach. She is survived by three sons, Walter and his wife Carolyn of Fort Smith, Werner and his wife Ingrid of Berkheim, Germany, and Helmut and his wife Marites of Germany and Spain; grandchildren, Walter of Springdale, John and his wife Anna Lee of Greenwood, Rainer of Berkheim, Gisela and her husband Markus Zwiesele of Esslingen, Germany, and Anna of Germany and Spain; and great-grandchildren, Michael and Justin Fuchs of Greenwood and Mathius and Nadine Zwiesele of Esslingen.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, 419 N. 12th St., Fort Smith, AR 72901, and designated for the Window Preservation Fund.

Della Mae Sammann
Della Mae Sammann of Booneville was born June 13, 1914, in Fayette County, Texas, and departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in Booneville.
Mrs. Sammann was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Booneville. She sold life insurance for Lutheran Mutual Life Insurance Co., following in her father’s footsteps. She also belonged to the Booneville Garden Club, the Home Demonstration Club and the Booneville Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Booneville with interment at Oak Hill cemetery in Booneville.
Mrs. Sammann is preceded in death by a son, Charles Frederick Sammann, who died in infancy; her parents, William Frederick Schuette and Adela Hagens Schuette; one sister, Anita Viola Schuette; and four brothers, H.G., Roland, Milton and Martin Schuette.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Walter Sammann of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and H.B. Griffey of Booneville, Carolyn and Gary James of Fort Smith and Valera and Fred Tate of Conway; five grandchildren, Randy Blythe, Brent and Bruce Griffey, Carla Norris and John Tate; 10 great-grandchildren, Walt and Drew Blythe, Jennifer, Bryson and Hannah Griffey, Wes and Shelby Norris, Austin and Michael Tate and Meredith James; and one sister-in-law, Annie Schuette of Slaton, Texas.
Pallbearers will be H.B., Brent, Bruce and Bryson Griffey, Cliff James, Fred and John Tate and Randy Blythe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary James and Jay and Wes Norris.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
