Theodore Woosley Jr.
ALMA — Theodore J. Woosley Jr., 70, of Alma, formerly of Conrad, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in his home. He was a graduate of Conrad High School class of 1952 and was employed as a plant manager at Pfizer Genetics in Beman, Iowa. He was a member of Conrad United Methodist Church, a former member of Conrad Lions Club and was a Boy Scout leader for many years.
Funeral was held Saturday at Conrad United Methodist Church with burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltwon, Iowa, under the direction of Johnston Funeral Home of Conrad, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, LaRue; three sons, Martin Woosley of Alma, Michael Woosley of Conrad, Iowa, and Mitchell Woosley of Marshalltown, Iowa; his mother, Irene Woosley of Conrad, Iowa; a sister, Patricia Fisher of Garwin, Iowa; a brother, Calvin Woosley of Beaman, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were B.J., Chad and Tony Woosley, Greg and Lee VanCleave and Jeff Hanson.

Michael Casanova
NORWAY, Mich. — Michael J. Casanova, 97, of Norway, Mich., died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Iron Mountain, Mich. He was retired from Construction and General Laborers Union No. 1329 AFL-CIO of Iron Mountain. He also had worked for Ford Motor Company in Kingsford, Mich., the local iron mines and in steel construction. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church of Norway and the widower of Victoria Casanova.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Church of Norway with burial at Norway Township cemetery under the direction of Miner Funeral Home of Norway.
He is survived by three sons, Wallace Casanova of Fort Smith and Donald Casanova and Roger Casanova, both of Norway; a sister, Rose Paquette of Norway; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home. Prayers will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church Memorial Fund, 401 Main St., Norway, MI 49870.

James Nelson
James Nelson, 26, of Fort Smith died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a student.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Washington cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by a sister, Aletha Faye Nelson of Chattanooga, Tenn., two brothers, Ernest James Nelson and Evis Dan Nelson, both of Fort Smith, and a grandmother, Oletha Clark of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Pallbearers will be family members.

Agnes Blanchette
Agnes Blanchette, 81, of Van Buren died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Fairview cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral home of Van Buren.

Zachary Willis
Zachary Tyler Ackles Willis, 3 months, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in his home.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at New cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
He is survived by his parents, Lisa Ackles of Mulberry and Muriel Willis Jr. of Van Buren; a brother, Muriel Willis III of Mulberry; maternal grandparents, Ron and Rita Pendergrass of Mulberry, paternal grandparents, Muriel and Mary Francis Willis Sr. of Van Buren; maternal great-grandparents, Herman and Mattie Kimes of Mulberry, maternal great-grandfather, Bonner Pendergrass of Ozark, maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Gragg of Mulberry.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Patricia Lomax
FAYETTEVILLE — Patricia Moore Lomax, 69, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in her home. She was born April 23, 1932, in Fort Smith. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the Springdale Public schools, and for 20 years in the Dade County, Fla., public schools. She was a graduate of Fort Smith High School and the University of Arkansas and received a master’s degree from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore’s Chapel of Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene W. “Pete” Lomax; a daughter, Sarah Ann Lomax of Fayetteville; two stepdaughters, Peggy Malnar of Geneva, Ill., and Marilyn Wagner of Chicago; a son, Adam Landis Lomax of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Whillock of Little Rock; a brother, Rudy Moore Jr. of Fayetteville.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Georgia Edwards
MENA — Georgia L. Edwards, 70, of Mena died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in a local nursing home. She was born Nov. 30, 1930, in Board Camp. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Big Fork under the direction of Hall Funeral Service of Mena.
She is survived by her husband, Toy; four daughters, Kathy Cook of Acorn, Oleta Lance and Frances Bennett, both of Mena and Ozella Cross of Van Buren; a sister, Josephine Stricklin of Mena; a brother, DeeFee Farley of Mena; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Beverley Helton
WALDRON — Beverley Ann Kastl Helton, 53, of Waldron died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired clerical worker.
The body was cremated under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
She is survived by her husband, George; a daughter, Tracy Lynn Brixey of Casa, Ark.; a son, Dustin Carter of Waldron; her mother, Juanita Kastl of Waldron; two brothers, Nubbin Kastl of Waldron and George J. Kastl of Albany, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

Kenneth Blaylock
MCCURTAIN — Kenneth R. “Bigun” Blaylock, 66, of McCurtain died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Poteau. He was a member of McCurtain Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in McCurtain Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Old Panther cemetery in McCurtain under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; four sons, Roy and Ricky Johnson, Kevin and Kenneth Dale Blaylock, all of McCurtain; a sister, Minnie Henson of Modesto, Calif.; a brother, Howard Blaylock of McCurtain; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alvin, Kenny, Melvin and Doug Blaylock, Leroy Glenn and Floyd Coffey.

Mike Billings
ROGERS — Mike Billings, 43, of Rogers died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in a Rogers hospital.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. today in Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers. A graveside service will be in Sparta, N.C. under the direction of Grandview Funeral Home in Sparta, N.C. at a later date.
He is survived by two daughters, Christina and Hope Billings of the home; his father and stepmother, Thomas and Erma Billings of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Renee Lawing of Indian Trail, N.C., Kimberly White of Charlotte, N.C., and Debbie Todd of Charleston, S.C.; and a brother, Marty Billings of Charlotte, N.C.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Michael Thompson
BOONEVILLE — Michael Edward Thompson, 29, of Booneville died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a employee of Arkansas Glass and Mirror.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Garden of Memories in Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; two sons, Johnathan Thompson and Dillon Mehelich, both of the home; two sisters, Tammie Koenigseder of Barling and Jennifer Barker of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn and Jason Hicks, Stephan Copeland, Adam Pullium, Charles Carter and Chris Price.

Lorene Trusty
SUBIACO — Lorene Trusty, 74, of Subiaco died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway Assembly of God.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Midway Assembly of God with burial at Horne cemetery in Midway under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by four daughters, Beverly McClure of Subiaco, Brenda Knoles and Sandra Tritt, both of Paris and Kathleen Lattin of New Blaine; a son, Roger Trusty of Delaware; a sister, Willene Garcia of Paris; a brother, Arlis Fay Horne of Subiaco; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Stephen McClure, Chris and Mike Knoles, Cory Weeks, Cody Lattin, Jamie and Josh Tritt.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Claud Murphy
OZARK — Claud Dennis Murphy, 79, of Ozark died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in his home. He was born May 2, 1922, in Hope. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a builder and construction worker. He was a member of Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rankin cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. The body will be cremated.
He is survived by two daughters, Nina Middleton of Altadena, Calif., and Lila Cook of Yreka, Calif.; a son, Donald Murphy of Ozark; two brothers, Glenn Murphy of Fern Community and Doyle Murphy of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
