HOPE Wayne Steve Kesterson, 72, of Hope, formerly of Cove, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Hope. He was born Oct. 29, 1932, in Plunkettville, Okla. He was a truck driver, served in the Navy as a Seebee during the Korean War, was a member of Disabled American Veterans Association and the First Baptist Church in Cove.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove Church of the Nazarene with burial at Pleasant Grove cemetery under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie; a daughter, Carolyn Lawrence of Hot Springs; two sons, Bobby Kesterson of Hope and Keith Kesterson of Mena; three brothers, Hollis Kesterson of Longview, Texas, Vaughn Kesterson of Mount Ida and Steve Kesterson of Cove; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Frederick Clegg
Frederick Chef Rick Clegg, 76, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was a chef at the Tradewinds Inn, Ramada Inn and Hardscrabble County Club and was in the Air Force.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Forest Park cemetery with burial at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Patrice; a daughter, Felicianne Burrell of Fort Smith; two sons, Daniel Clegg of Spiro and Dale Frazier of Fort Smith; a sister, Margaret Kolb of Pocola; a brother, Daniel Clegg of Florida; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Donna Jones
PARKS Donna Jean Jones, 69, of Parks died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker, an artist, a member of the Garden Club and attended Waldron Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Waldron Church of the Nazarene with burial at Cedar Creek cemetery in Cedar Creek under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
She is survived by her husband, Eloyd; four daughters, Trish Deer of Fort Smith, Debora Moreno of Houston, Christina Dyer of Norman, Okla., and Ginger Rose of Waldron; three sons, Larry and David Jones, both of Fort Smith, and Steve Jones of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Vera Emery of Waldron and Bonnie Evans of Phoenix; a half sister, Cathy Baker of Phoenix; a brother, Mike Castner of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Hunt, Danny Rhyne, Eldred Tinder, Benny Newberry, Charlie Watkins and Lyndy Holland.

Claudia LaNere Arney, 60, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in a local hospital. She was a Baptist and a tutor.
Memorial service was held Friday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. The body will be cremated.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; a daughter, Crissy Leach of Greenwood; a son, Gerald Arney Jr. of Fort Smith; a stepdaughter, Pam Strickland of Joplin, Mo.; three sisters, Louise Mulberry of Glendora, Calif., Charlotte Brassfield of Texas and Carrean Klungle of West Virginia; a brother, Steve Gutierrez of Kellyville, Okla.; and nine grandchildren.

GERMANY Nguyen Thi Tuyet, 61, of Germany died Monday, March 7, 2005, in Germany. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Thai Hoang of Germany; a daughter, Thai Thao of Detroit; two sons, Thai Hung of Germany and Thai Hai of Detroit; her mother, Hoang Lan of Vietnam; six sisters, Suong Nguyen of Fort Smith, Nguyen Hoang, Nguyen Thu, Nguyen Minh Ha, Nguyen Thuy and Nguyen Van, all of Vietnam; and a brother, Nguyen Son of Vietnam.

WALDRON Shorty Brown, 57, of Waldron died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in his home. He was a mechanic.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Yandell and Kim Edwards, both of Waldron; two sisters, Loretta Brown of Charleston and ONeida Wilkins of Sugar Grove; a brother, Ellis Brown of Sugar Grove; and seven grandchildren.

MURFREESBORO James William Jones, 55, of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Murfreesboro. He was born July 4, 1949, in Charleston.

He is survived by three brothers, Sterling and Jimmy Jones, both of Paris, and Mike Jones of Charleston.

Bounnam Khounnasenh, 49, of Fort Smith died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was born Nov. 20, 1955, in Vientiane, Laos. He worked for O.K. Foods, was of the Buddhist faith and the widower of Bounhom Khounnasenh.
Funeral will be noon today at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
He is survived by two daughters, Sovanna Sayvongsa and Samantha Khounnasenh, both of Fort Smith; two sisters, Kham Phimvongsa of Fort Smith and Khampoune Keomanyvong of Iowa; two brothers, Bounnam Khounnasenh of Iowa and Bounlang Khounnasenh of Pennsylvania; and one grandchild.

CLARKSVILLE Kenneth Roderick Carter, 60, of Clarksville died Friday, March 11, 2005, in his home. He was retired from the Navy, where he received the Fifth Good Conduct Award, Navy Achievement Medal, Battle E Ribbon with star, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Houston cemetery in Alex with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Joann; a daughter, Sandra Kremers of Clarksville; a son, Kenneth J. Carter of Clarksville; a sister, Helen Burch of Clarksville; a brother, Wayne Carter of Clarksville; and 10 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

LAVACA Ronnie Lee Potter, 41, of Lavaca died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in his home. He was born June 8, 1963, in Cameron. He worked for Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith, coached little league baseball in Lavaca, was a member of United Steel Workers of American Union at Rheem and Lavaca First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lavaca First Baptist Church with burial at Oak Valley cemetery south of Lavaca under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Gena; a daughter, Emily Potter of the home; a son, Justin Potter of the home; his mother, Ruby Potter of Cameron; four sisters, Joyce Harris of Fort Smith, Linda Martin and Lovenia Heisler, both of Cameron, and Barbara Freeman of Mena; and seven brothers, Jimmy Potter of Bokoshe, Johnny Potter of Poteau, Randy and Harold Potter, both of Wister, Donnie and Darrell Potter, both of Cameron, and Kenny Potter of Shady Point.

HEMET, Calif. Mark Edward Mo Workman, 41, of Hemet, Calif., formerly of Muldrow, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in California. He was a carpenter, of the Christian faith and attended Muldrow High School.
Funeral was held Feb. 18 at Arlington Mortuary in Riverside, Calif., with burial at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, Calif.
He is survived by two daughters, Ashley and Kayla Workman, both of the home; his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Larry Hanes of Bar Nunn, Wyo.; two sisters, Carrie Workman of California and Stacy Clucas of Casper, Wyo.; and three brothers, Cliff and Rich Workman, both of California, and Larry Hanes of Muldrow.
Pallbearers were his brothers, cousins and a uncle.

MENA Geneva E. Hiler Bills, 100, of Mena died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Mena. She was born March 14, 1904, in Elmsdale, Kan. She was a member of the Christian Church, a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and Farm Bureau Home Demonstration, and the widow of Arthur Bills.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hall Memorial Funeral Service Chapel in Mena. The body will be cremated; a memorial service is planned for a future date at Mapleton cemetery in Mapleton, Kan.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Wood of Cove; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Jim Breedlove
Jim Breedlove, 61, beloved brother, died Friday, March 18, 2005, in Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 28, 1943, in Muldrow, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by three sisters, Donna Russell, Carolyn Walker and Louise Williams, all of Muldrow; four brothers, John Breedlove of Fort Smith, Charles and Bill Breedlove, both of Muldrow, and Owen Breedlove of Grove, Okla.; along with numerous nieces and nephews who were the highlight of his life, and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie and Bud Breedlove of Muldrow.
Graveside services will be today at 2 p.m. at Muldrow cemetery. The body will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
