Blytheville -- James Kenneth Hedge, 71, retired farmer, died Sunday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home with burial in Dogwood cemetery. He was a member of Pathway Church of God. Mr. Hedge, the husband of Dorothy Marie Hedge, also leaves two daughters, Gwen Crocker of Bradenton, Fla., and Kathy Allen of Blytheville; three sisters, Novella Carroll of Leachville, Edna Mae Morton of Blytheville and Gladys Morgan of Plantersville, Miss., two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

West Memphis -- Sarah F. Miller, 66, of Rogers, formerly of West Memphis, retired from Wal-Mart tax department, died Saturday at her home. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Miller, the wife of Carl Miller, also leaves a daughter, Tara Johnson of Cordova, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Stacey Konecny of Houston and Andra Hines of Bella Vista; a stepson, Carl Miller Jr. of Houston, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Mary's Hospice in Rogers or Barbara K. Lipman School.

Osceola -- Charles William Turner, 59, truck driver, died Monday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Eastside Baptist Church, where he was a member and youth leader, with burial in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. Roller-Swift Funeral Home has charge. He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran and a member of New Beginnings Gospel Group. Mr. Turner, the husband of Patricia Scott Turner for 38 years, also leaves a daughter, Sherry Moody of Blytheville; a son, Chris Scott of Rogersville; a sister, Joan Crafton of Nappanee, Ind.; two brothers, George Turner of Manila and Jimmy Turner of Floral, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Eastside Baptist Church.

West Memphis -- James Robbins, 52, of Winston-Salem, N.C., formerly of West Memphis, construction worker, died Aug. 2, 2004, in Winston-Salem. She was a member of Living Water Pentecostal Church of God in Tyronza. Mrs. Shuburte, the wife of Hardin Shuburte, also leaves a daughter, Myrtle Markham of Gilmore; two sons, Larry Shuburte of Gilmore and Tony Shuburte of Proctor; four sisters, Leota Brown of Summerville, Ga., Molly Jones of Lafayette, Ga., Naomi Ray of Chatsworth, Ga., and Dorothy Davis of Calhoun, Ga.; a brother, Joe Hill of Summerville, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Earle - Sarah Alene Butt, 88, formerly of Earle AR, passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2005, in Pleasanton, Texas. Visitation 11-Noon Friday, July 15, 2005 at First Methodist Church in Earle AR with the Funeral Service beginning Noon at church. The interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park cemetery. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. Alene was born Sarah Alene Vance on August 23, 1916 to Velma Vance and James Burris Vance in Slate Spring, MS. She moved with her family to LePanto, AR in 1933. After graduation from Lepanto High School she attended Palmer Beauty College in Little Rock and subsequently moved to Earle Arkansas. Alene was a member of the First Methodist Church in Earle. She was active in the Earle Garden Club and Order of the Eastern Star for many years. Alene is survived by her children Benjamin M. Butt Jr. his wife Ginny, of Phoenix AZ, Elbert Stuart Butt II his wife Nanette, of Pleasanton TX, and Caroline Vance Seaton of Grapevine TX. Alene is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Alene was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Benjamin Munford Butt, her parents, her 5 brothers, and her sister.
