MAYNARD -- Sandra Marie Long, 33, of Maynard died Friday, Nov. 4, in Ripley County, Mo.
Born at Batesville, she was a machine operator for Vitronic in Doniphan, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Long of the home; a son, Matthew Wayne Hutchi; a stepdaughter, Deltrina Long of Maynard; a stepson, David Long of Maynard; her parents, Jerry Clinton Page and Susan Lewis Reeves, both of Batesville; and a brother, Johnny Lee Midkiff.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Pleasant Valley Cemetery
at Batesville. McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Emogene L. Moody
TRUMANN -- Emogene L. Moody, 71, of Trumann died Friday at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro.
Arrangements will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Bessie Townsend
AUGUSTA -- Bessie Townsend, 79, of Augusta died Thursday, Nov. 3.
Survivors include seven sons, Marvin Townsend, Leodis Townsend, Gene Townsend, Jimmy Townsend, Elbert Townsend, William Townsend and John Townsend; five daughters, Erma Ward, Vergann Murray, Brenda Brown, Zelma Ward and Helen Heard; two brothers; a sister; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Holly Grove Missionary Baptist in Augusta, with the Rev. C.L. Gilmore officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Kimbrough Funeral Home in Newport.
Thomas "Tommie" Ray Cureton
CASH -- Thomas "Tommie" Ray Cureton, 72, of Cash died Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Skilcare Nursing Center in Jonesboro.
He lived in Cash all of his life and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Stone Street Church of Christ, served on the Riceland Foods board, Craighead County Quorum Court, and the Craighead County Farm Bureau Board. He was also a
Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Crisler Cureton of the home; a son, Michael Thomas Cureton and his wife, Terri Jo of Cash; a daughter, Sandra Stubblefield and her husband, Scott of Brookland; four grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Cureton, Meghan Cureton, Jonathan Stubblefield and Jordan Stubblefield; and two great-grandchildren, Gracye Mae Cureton and Cole Thomas Cureton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elza and Letty Lankford Cureton; two brothers, Blake and Bill Cureton; and a sister, Betty Ramsey.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Dennis Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery
near Cash.
Pallbearers will include Jerry Bishop, Earnest Sellers, Mario Limones, Gary Dunman, Adon Chavez, Mario Garcia and David Wooldridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Womack, Jessie Dunivan, Judge Roy Bearden, John Farmer, James Priest, Tommy Jackson, Sam Cossey, Phil Cullison, Wilson Crisler, Billy Crisler, Bobby Crisler and Donald Crisler.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, N.Y., 10018.
Kattie Goddard Hogan
JONESBORO -- Kattie Goddard Hogan, 93, of Jonesboro, formerly of Monette, died Monday, Nov. 21, at NEA Medical Center.
Born in Tahlequah, Okla., she lived in Jonesboro her lifetime. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Monette.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Hogan of Jonesboro; two daughters, Christean Haley of Maumelle and Virginia Wells of Redding, Calif.; four grandchildren, Scott Hogan of Jonesboro, Mary Garrett of Maumelle, Jimmy Wells of Banning, Calif., and Shirley Baker of Redding; four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stanford Hogan; parents, Lewis and Effie St. John Hogan; two brothers, Jack Goddard and Flem Goddard; and two sisters, Babe Golden and Nellie Gordon.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Monette Cemetery
with Rodney Shanner officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerry Haley, Harold Munn, Jimmy Scott, Terry Scott, James Garrett and Joe France.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
Lavern E. Jones
JONESBORO -- Lavern E. Jones of Jonesboro died Tuesday.
Born in Vandale, she lived her lifetime in Jonesboro. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she worked in children's church and did missionary work.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Kimble and Eli Lloyd; one brother, Louis C. Bumper; one grandson; one great-grandson; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Luevene Hill.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery
under the direction of Woodard Funeral Service.
Visitation will be at the church from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Ada Marie Kennett
LEACHVILLE -- Ada Marie Kennett, 89, of Leachville died Wednesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born at Smithville, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ada Smith Moore and had been a Leachville resident for most of her life. She was the widow of Mr. Norman Kennett.
She was a 1933 graduate of Leachville High School and a longtime member of the Leachville First United Methodist Church, where she served in many capacities, including church organist and UMYF director. She was the former editor of the Leachville Star, the first female member of the Leachville School Board and was a retired sales representative for Florafax of Leachville. She was well known for her volunteer work in the community, including her involvement in the activities at Melody Theatre.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy and Donnie Kennett; a son-in-law, Danny Sain; and a granddaughter, Jackie Sain. She was also preceded in death by four sisters; Irene Mitchell, Lucille Pickens, Wilma Jean Thompson and Betty Simmons; and a brother, Alvia Moore.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Sandra Kennett of Leachville; a daughter, Doris Sain of Grand Blanc, Mich.; a sister, Dorothy Brynjolfson of California; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Leachville with the Revs. Donnie Hudson and Earl Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery
under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church. The family will also receive at the church's fellowship hall following the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Bill Khouri, Tommy John Kennett, Ron Kennett, Danny Sain Jr., Rick Sain, Paul Steinborn, Tommy Kennett, Chris Kennett, Dr. Jason Scofield and Dain McDonald.
Martha Virginia Lynch
WILSON -- Martha Virginia Lynch, 92, of Wilson died Tuesday.
She was a homemaker, lifelong area resident and member of Wilson First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Joe Lynch of San Antonio; daughter, Carolyn Garrett of Slayden, Miss.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m., Saturday at Roller-Swift Chapel with burial in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
Roller-Swift Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Larry Dean Ricker
CORNING -- Larry Dean Ricker, 56, of Corning, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was a former truck driver.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel of Paragould, with burial in Pyrtle Cemetery
at Peach Orchard.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
