Essie Lavern Holler
September 20, 1936 - December 17, 2011
Essie Lavern Holler, 75, of Cabot died Saturday, December 17, 2011. She was born September 20, 1936 in Little Rock to the late Glenn and Modine Stanley Pinkerton. Mrs. Holler was a member of Old Austin Methodist Church and attended Victory Baptist Church. She worked as a computer technician for McDonald Douglas for over 20 years and was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holler was preceded in death by her husband Richard George Holler, a brother, Richard Pinkerton and a grandson Brucie Brooker.
Mrs. Holler is survived by five children, Lynn Ingle (Janice) of Prague, Oklahoma, Sheryl Brooker (Bruce) of Dayton, Ohio, Justin Ingle (Dianne) of Ward, Brett Ingle (Ronda) of Rogers and Trish Stiles (Gary) of Cabot as well as her brothers and sisters, Bobby Pinkerton, Wayne Pinkerton, Pat Collins, Betty Branson and Dennis Pinkerton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Alicia Collins, Jamie Ingle, Sarah Brooker, Jonathan Brooker, Eric Brooker, Joey Ingle, Tiffany Diederich, Jason Ingle and Steven Ingle; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Victory Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Old Austin cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501)843-5816.

Larry Love
CLARKSVILLE — Larry Dee Love, 60, of Clarksville died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 3, 1948, at Russellville, son of the late D.L. and Virginia Sue Brewer Love, a 1967 graduate of Russellville High School and a Christian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife, Luraine Hamilton Love; a son, Larry Love and wife, Tammy, of Dardanelle; two daughters, Laura Love of Russellville and April Fales and husband, Todd, of Clarksville; two brothers, Roger Love and wife, Kim, of Pottsville and Robert Love and wife, Sammye, of Dardanelle; a sister, Susan Kemp of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be cremated. Arrangements are by Hardwicke Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Gary Boyce
ATKINS — Gary Lee Boyce, 54, of Atkins died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Lemley Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Elizabeth Pierce
DARDANELLE — Georgia Elizabeth (Webb) Pierce, 90, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008.
She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Casa to Jeanie Mignon (Hundley) Webb and Jacob Kirkendall Webb. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Central Baptist Church in Little Rock. She graduated from Lake Village High School. She was employed as a billing clerk and later became the only female rate clerk in the state of Arkansas with Superior Forwarding Truck Line for 25 years. Her hobbies included reading, needlework and watching John Wayne movies. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dr. Pearl Shoudel; and an infant brother.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Lynn Robertson of Bryant; a son, Theo David Pierce and wife, Candy, of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Cheryl Clark and husband, Cary, of Sheridan and Christy Snell of Maumelle; two grandsons, Darren Hooker of Portales, N.M., and Ben Pierce of Little Rock; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at Cornwell Chapel with John McCourt officiating. Burial will be in Bryant Cove cemetery at Casa. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
An open visitation will be until 7 p.m. today.
Pallbearers:
Active — A.B. Hundley, Ben Pierce, Bob Snell, David Snell, Aaron Gray, Duke Baldwin and John Jacobson.
Honorary — John Jacobson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by UAMS Alzheimer’s research, 4301 W. Markham, Little Rock, AR.
“Our mother will be remembered for devoting her life to her children and grandchildren.”

David Daniels
ATKINS — David Daniels, 59, of Atkins, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born April 26, 1949, in Gallatin, Tenn., and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Barbara Daniels; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Ronald Maynaro, Stephanie and Steve McDaniel, and Patricia Obrien; and two grandchildren, Dustin Kemp and Brittany Magers both of Atkins.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.

Loria Ann Thompson
(September 19, 1968 - July 20, 2013)
Loria Ann Thompson, 44, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 in her home in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born September 19, 1968 in Booneville, Arkansas.
She enjoyed watching wrestling, working crossword puzzles and crafts.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Lick Creek cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Haley Jones McGrath (Mark) of Booneville, Arkansas; one son, James Riley (Kayla) of Booneville, Arkansas; parents, Charles and Gloria Walker of Booneville, Arkansas; one brother, Charles Alan Walker of Booneville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Peyton, Riley, Zoey, and Biella; two nieces and nephews.

Elsie Dortch
DARDANELLE — Elsie Dortch, 95, of Dardanelle died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Mitchell’s Nursing Home in Danville.
An open visitation will be all day today at Cornwell Funeral Home.
A private burial will be Thursday, Dec. 18, at Brearley cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.

Charles Lee Goff
(June 1, 1967 - July 30, 2013)
Charles Lee Goff, 46, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in his home in Booneville. He was born June 1, 1967 in Booneville, Arkansas.
He was a roughneck and a was a member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church.
He enjoyed collecting coins, die-cast trucks, and playing wii, and fishing, but his favorite thing to do was barbequing and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Luther Goff, sister, Cressia McIntyre, Brother, Samuel Glenn Goff, and stepfather, Denver Perkins.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church near Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela of the home; two sons, John Goff of Tennessee and David Goff of Booneville, Arkansas; mother, Ann Perkins of Booneville, Arkansas; three sisters, Lela Simons of Houston, Texas, Sheila Campman of Booneville, and Shirley Stover of Magazine; seven brothers, Dale, Roy, David, Alford, Marlin, and Ray Goff all of Booneville, Arkansas and Monroe Goff of Branch; two stepsisters, Barbara Lile and Shirley Yates both of Paris, Arkansas; three stepbrothers, Allen and Tommy Perkins of Magazine, Arkansas and Ronnie Perkins of Booneville.

Ellis Whitted
Ellis Whitted, 60, of Pottsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at his home.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Shinn Chapel, with a time of visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jessie Edward Phelps
(January 18, 1939 - June 26, 2013)
Jessie Edward Phelps, 74, of Havana, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born January 18, 1939 in Delaware, Arkansas to Earl Jessie and Goldia Faulkinbury Phelps.
He enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening and sharing it with family and friends. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He is preceded in death by Karen Phelps Ickenroth; brothers, Billy and Roy Phelps; and a sister, Pam Cotner.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Diane of Havana, Arkansas; one son, Jessie Edward Phelps Jr. of Ola, Arkansas; two sisters, Earlene Hope of Greenwood, Arkansas and Vivian Phillips of Blue Mountain, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Wanza Vinson
Wanza Vinson, 72, of Russellville, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at East Point cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service.
A time of visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Richard Cooper
DARDANELLE — Richard Melvin Cooper of Dardanelle departed this life Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home in Russellville.
He was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Shamrock, Texas, to Gethmer Charles and Georgia Ann Cooper. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Faith Church and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Corrine Cooper of Dardanelle; two daughters, Mary and Walter Wallace and Judy Sehorn of Dardanelle; three sons and their spouses, Gary and Rita Cooper and Rick and Debbie Cooper of Van Buren, and Terry and Patsy Cooper of Lawrenceville, Ga.; six grandchildren, Joy Cain and husband, Greg, of Russellville, Eric Cooper of Casper, Wyo., Dina Cooper and Todd Campbell of Chandler, Ariz., Lucas and Kristen Cooper of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Emilee Cooper of Van Buren; five great-grandchildren, Brennon and Maya Coper of Casper, Wyo., and Taylor Cooper, and Skylar and Ian Campbell of Chandler, Ariz.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Faith Church with Brother David Jay and Bob Dowling officiating. Burial will be at Brearley cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
Pallbarers will be his sons and grandsons, Walter Wallace, Gary Cooper, Terry Cooper, Rick Cooper, Eric Cooper, Lucas Cooper and Greg Cain.
Honorary pallbearers will be men of Faith Church and his friends of First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to the nursing staff of Legacy Lodge for the care and genuine concern they showed our loved one during his three years there, but especially during his final days.
