Harry 'Mickey' Michael Moolick
He graduated from Beatrice High School in Nebraska in 1940, and joined the Nebraska National Guard in 1941. His Guard unit was activated in World War II and became a part of the American Division. The Division was sent to the Southwest Pacific Theatre in April 1942 and saw continuous action until May 1944.
During the Battle of Guadalcanal in 1943, Sgt. Moolick was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic action. He was rotated back to the United States after two years of combat and discharged in June 1945.
He returned to Perry, Iowa, and was hired as a fireman on the Milwaukee Railroad in June 1945. He was later promoted to engineer. He remained in that capacity until he retired in July 1986.
He married Lois Carter on Sept. 19, 1947. They lived in Perry until 1982, when the Milwaukee Railroad shut down its rail service through Perry. The Moolicks moved to Savannah, Ill., to complete his railroad employment, then retired in Bella Vista.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Moolick; a daughter, Jacque Ann Workman of Tigard, Ore.; a sister, Beverly Sterts of Fort Garland, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Sarah Workman, John Workman and Michele Workman of Tigard.
A memorial Mass was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. A later memorial service will be at St. Martins Episcopal Church in Perry.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
Memorials may be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, Ark. (72714).

Lisa E. Nelson
She grew up in Johnson County, Kan., and was a 1977 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. She was a self-employed legal assistant. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1989.
Survivors include a son, Wesley James Charles Nelson of the home; her father, Charles F. Nelson of Bella Vista; and numerous friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore, Okla.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 323, Oklahoma City, Okla. (73101).

Scott Roark
Scott Roark, 54, of Anderson, Mo., died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Freeman-Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Mo. He was born July 17, 1947, in Anderson to Melvin Raymond "Huck" and B. Jean Barnes Roark.
He was a lifelong resident of Anderson. He was a Baptist.
He had worked in transportation management for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for the past 16 years. Previously, he served as a deputy with the McDonald County Sheriff's Office for five years, and as an Anderson police officer for a year. He was a member of the Anderson Unit of the Missouri National Guard for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Debarah Oliver Roark; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jody and Connie Roark of Neosho, Jamie and Michelle Roark of Anderson and Steven Oliver of Denton, Texas; his mother, Jean Roark of Anderson; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Guy Cunningham of Anderson; his former wife, Mary Lou Roark of Neosho, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jocelyn Roark, Mary Kate Roark, Conner Roark, Aubrey Roark and Brandon Roark; a great-granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson with the Rev. Leroy Rued officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory of Bella Vista.
Burial will be at a later date at Anderson cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Ozark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 520, Anderson, Mo. (64831).

Eleanor Hunt Sutton
Eleanor Dorothy Hunt Sutton, 77, of Bella Vista, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Lohrville, Iowa, to Joseph and Margaret Carstens Hunt.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1991 from Omaha, Neb. She worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years and was a supervisor in the accounting department.
She was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church, the National Association of Railway Business Women and the Valparaiso University Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Sutton, in March 1994; two daughters, Susie and Mary; and a grandson, Jeffrey.
Survivors include three sons, Donald Sutton of Plattsmouth, Neb., Timothy Sutton of Omaha, Neb., and Robert Sutton of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three daughters, Diane Hage of Omaha, Carolyn Steimer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Kathleen S. Caniglia of Plattsmouth; two brothers, Eldon Hunt of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Doyle J. Hunt of Glidden, Iowa; two sisters, Marian Ptacek of Minneapolis, and Delores L. Rogers of Omaha; and 19 grandchildren.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Bella Vista Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ronald Pfluger presiding.
A second visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Pacific Hills Lutheran Church in Omaha, Neb. A second service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Pacific Hills Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. William G. Moorehead officiating.
Burial was at Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha.
Memorials may be made to Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. (72715).

Billy Ellison
Billy Ellison, 41, of Pineville, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at his home. He was born March 3, 1962, in Bentonville, to William Edward and Geraldine Hudson Ellison.
He lived in this area most of his life, and was employed by Master Electric in Bella Vista. He attended Whittenburg Full Gospel Church.
He enjoyed team roping, camping, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Ellison; and an infant daughter, Melissa Dianne Ellison, in 1986.
Survivors are his wife, Dianne Jordan Ellison, whom he married April 17, 1982; one son, Clint Ellison of Pineville; his mother, Geraldine Adams of Pineville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Mike Test, Lisa and Kevin Crawford, Ronda and Murray Young, all of Pineville.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Pea Ridge Church of Christ with Jamey Cope and Jackie Chestnutt officiating. Burial will be at Pea Ridge cemetery.

Don Knoll
Don Knoll, 72, of McKinney, Texas, and formerly of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003. He was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Brady, Texas, to Luther and Frances Wilkins Knoll.
He married Pat Langford on Feb. 28, 1954, in Longview, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He was a zone manager for AGCO, formerly the Hesston Corp., where he retired after 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Winnie Knoll and Nina Joyner; and two brothers, Bert Knoll and Artie Knoll.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1615 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas (75207).

Agnes L. McMurtry
Agnes L. McMurtry, 95, of Bella Vista, died Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Bentonville Manor in Bentonville. She was born Nov. 9, 1907, in Portland, Ore., to George C. and Sarah Elizabeth Patterson Lemcke.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Murray V. Heminger Sr., on June 14, 1983; and Randolph McMurtry, in August 1997; and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, Murray V. Heminger Jr. of Avon, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Richard Widen of Bella Vista; two stepsons, Randy McMurtry of Denver, and Larry McMurtry of Albuquerque, N.M.; a stepdaughter, Ginger Titel of Chevy Chase, Md.; six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Robert Kern 'Mike' Michael
Robert Kern "Mike" Michael, 79, of Bella Vista, died Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Concordia Care Center. He was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Centralia, Ill., to Earl and Mae Michael.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia May Michael; three sons, Terry Michael of Pittsburgh, Randy Michael and Patrick Michael, both of Dallas; and nine grandchildren, Carolyn, Allison, Bob, Bria, Lindsay, Kaylie, David, Kylan and Kamryn.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Camille Myers Mitchell
Camille Myers Mitchell, 93, of Bella Vista, died Friday, July 25, 2003, at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1909, in Sikeston, Mo., to Thomas Allen and Carrie Collins Myers.
She attended Sikeston schools and Cape Girardeau (Mo.) Business College. She was employed by Miles Packing Co. and Midwest Dairy Co. in Cape Girardeau, and by the National Youth Administration and the Kansas City Southern Railroad in Kansas City, Mo.
She married Stewart S. Mitchell on July 12, 1946, in Millmont, Pa. The couple lived in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where her husband served in the U.S. Navy and she worked for the U.S. Navy and the American Red Cross.
She then worked for physicians in Kansas City and Harrisonville, Mo.
She and her husband moved from Archie, Mo., to Bella Vista in 1973. She was a caregiver for many years, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Shoebox Ministries, Helping Hands, Bella Vista Care Center Guild and Bentonville American Legion Auxiliary 0077.
She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Archie, and was a member of Bella Vista First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Mitchell; a brother, Chester Myers; and two sisters, Dorothy Myers and Virginia Myers Holmes.
Survivors include a first cousin, Bernice Collins Phillips of Ozona, Texas; and several other cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 W. Walnut St. Suite 3, Rogers, Ark. (72756); or to Shoebox Ministries, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, Ark. (72714).
Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Janet Mae Paasch
Janet Mae Paasch, 70, of Bella Vista, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at her home. She was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Milwaukee, to Thomas and Evelyn Williams Gallaway.
She was raised and educated in Milwaukee. She was employed by the Allen Bradley Co. for 25 years.
She married Harold "Harry" Paasch on Sept. 17, 1953, in Milwaukee. They retired and moved to Bella Vista in 1991 from Franklin, Wis.
She was employed at Highlands Proshop for 11 years. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and golf.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Paasch.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Paasch; one son, Lee Paasch of Bella Vista; and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sallie Gallaway of Fisher, Ind.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista with the Rev. Tracy Evans officiated.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
