Rev. Harold Eugene Wagner
The Rev. Harold Eugene Wagner, 85, of Britt, Iowa, and formerly of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa. He was born May 24, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Howard and Myrtle Smith Wagner.
He graduated from Marion High School in 1937. He was a draftsman apprentice at LaPlante Choats Co. in Cedar Rapids.
He married Betty Louise Scott on Oct. 14, 1944, in Midland, Texas. He was a Methodist minister, serving in Morley, Central City, Ackley, Parkersburg, Conrad, Geneseo, Garrison, Clinton and Camanche, Iowa; and in West Falmouth, Mass.
While living in Grundy Center, Iowa, he served as a 4-H and youth director for Grundy and Butler counties. He then served churches in Vinton and Nevada, Iowa.
He and his wife, Betty, retired to Bella Vista in 1983. In 2000, the couple moved to Manchester, Iowa. Since June 2003 they have resided in Garner and Britt, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Wagner.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Wagner; two sons and a daughter-in-law, the Rev. David and Candace Wagner of Garner, Iowa, and Robert Wagner of Greenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ron Engstrom of Reynolds, Ill.; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory of Manchester, Iowa. Inurnment was at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Prairie Chapel cemetery near Marion, Iowa. A second visitation was held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Geneseo United Methodist Church near Buckingham, Iowa. A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Geneseo United Methodist Church.
Cremation arrangements are by Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory.

Charles H. 'Chuck' Waters
He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in 1936. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 30 years, retiring in 1966.
He married Betty Mae Rains in 1966, and they moved to Bella Vista in 1993. He enjoyed playing golf and tennis, as well as bowling and skeet shooting.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Betty; two sons, Charles H. Waters Jr. of Houston and Kevin S. Waters of Cary, N.C.; two daughters, Barbara Brooke Ballantyne of Cary, N.C., and Mary Hilleary Waters of Denver; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Carroll Montegue Price of Dallas; and two sisters, Mary M. Waters Chambless of Harrodsburg, Ky., and Anita Kinnucan of Auburn, Ala.
Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Charles Murry officiating. Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 5, at Jefferson Barracks National cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials may be made to Highlands United Methodist Church, 371 Glasgow Road, Bella Vista, Ark. (72715).
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Paul Stevens Wennerstrom
Paul Stevens Wennerstrom, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. He was born in Davenport, Iowa, to David Alexander and Lois Etta Stevens Wennerstrom.
At the age of 4, he moved with his family to Denver, where he was raised and educated. He married Dorothy Stockmar on Aug. 4, 1943.
He received his Naval Aviator Wings and Naval Commission on Aug. 4, 1943. He served in the British West Indies and later in the Pacific.
He graduated from Colorado State University in 1949. He retired from the Naval Reserve in 1965.
He flew for Pipeline, and later had a helicopter service for 10 years. He live in Denver, where he worked for Kelly Morey Investments and Coldwell Banker Real Estate.
He moved to Bella Vista in 1989, where he worked for Coldwell Banker for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wennerstrom; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven Mark and Lynne Wennerstrom of Denver; three grandchildren, Sean Eric Wennerstrom, Lori Kay Wennerstrom and Lynnette Wennerstrom; and two great-grandchildren, Allie Shae Wennerstrom and Amber Wennerstrom.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Judson American Baptist Church of Bella Vista with the Rev. Dr. Ed Baxter officiating.
Arrangements were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to Judson American Baptist Church, 1702 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. (72715).

Barbara Evelyn Williams
Barbara Evelyn Williams, 38, of Bella Vista, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. She was born March 1, 1965, in Little Rock, to Billy O. and Sheila M. Browne Hurt.
She married John R. Williams Jr. on Sept. 28, 1991, in Little Rock. She had lived in the area for five years, moving from Little Rock. She was a pharmacist at Harps Food Store in Bentonville.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Rogers. She enjoyed working puzzles, playing bridge, cross-stitching and other crafts.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peggy and Herbert Browne, and Minnie and Willmet Hurt.
Survivors include her husband, John R. "Jackie" Williams Jr.; her parents, Billy and Sheila Hurt of Little Rock; a sister, Susan King of Bryant; a niece, Brittany King; and two nephews, Ryan Simpson and Jordan Simpson.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Callison-Lough Funeral Service chapel in Bentonville. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at First United Methodist Church of Rogers with the Rev. Davis Thomas officiating. Burial was Thursday, Sept. 4, at Roselawn cemetery in Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Rogers, or to the Pulaski County Humane Society.

Richard Lawrence Bolain
Richard Lawrence Bolain, 68, of Bartlesville, Okla., died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. He was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Bella Vista to Merit Z. Bolain and Lula Jane Moore Bolain.
He was raised in Arkansas and graduated from Bentonville High School. He married Betty Darlene Russell on Aug. 20, 1957, in Miami, Okla. The couple moved to Dewey, Okla., and later moved to Bartlesville. He worked for the United Linen Co. as a salesman for 39 years, retiring in April 2001. He was a member of the Bluestem Baptist Church in Dewey; Bartlesville Masonic Lodge 284; the Tulsa Scottish Rite; and the Bartlesville Sportsman's Club, and was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Bolain; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Terri Lynn Hollingsworth of Tulsa, Okla., Vicki Ann Murphree and Arlin Murphree of Copan, Okla., and Leslie Jean Donnell and Doug Donnell of Bartlesville; a sister, Letha Jean Worsley of Parsons, Kan.; six grandchildren, Jessica Chancellor, Laura Hollingsworth, D.J. Hollingsworth, Brandon Murphree, April Donnell and Spencer Donnell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 13, at the Bluestem Baptist Church in Dewey, Okla., with Pastor John White and Pastor Mat Saddoris.
Burial was at the Dewey cemetery.
Arrangements were by Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
Memorials may be made to the Bluestem Baptist Church, 327 E. Durham, Dewey, Okla. 74029; or to the Washington County Nutrition Project, 300 E. Angus, Dewey, OK 74029.

David Eugene Campbell
David Euegene Campbell, 56, of Bella Vista, died Dec. 17, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County.
He was born April, 8, 1948, in Lexington, Neb., to David Garfield Campbell and Nadine Bernice Hughes Campbell.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War, and he enjoyed motorcycles, boating and woodworking.
He was an outside sales representative for Alpine Wood Products.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Garfield Campbell and Nadine Bernice Hughes Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Campbell of the home; one son, Tory Bee Campbell of Fayetteville; one daughter, Delana Dee Bowers and her husband, George, of Bella Vista; two brothers, Bill Campbell of Texas and Steve Campbell of Kansas; four grandchildren, Corbin Campbell, Annie Campbell, Bradley David Campbell and Blake Bowers.
A funeral service was held Dec. 20 at First United Methodist Church of Bentonville. Burial will be at the Bentonville City cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Center, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kan. 66601-1653.

Michael Ray 'Mike' White
Michael Ray "Mike" White, 48, of Bentonville, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at his home. He was born Jan. 2, 1956, in Rogers, to Robert Edward White and Mosell Twilleger White.
He was a native of Benton County. He graduated from Bentonville High School in 1974 and was a graduate of Wichita Automotives in Wichita, Kan. He owned Mike White's Auto Clinic in Bentonville. He was a member of the Wesleyan Church of Rogers. He enjoyed fishing, camping on the beach, attending auctions and flea markets, woodworking and mechanics.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah White; his parents, Robert and Mosell White of Wheaton, Mo.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Amy Loveall and Jeremy Loveall of Bentonville, and Lisha White and Tia White, both of Bella Vista, a stepdaughter, Madison Dezurik of Bentonville; a stepson, Gunter Dezurik of Gentry; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bob White and Martha White of Rogers, and Brad White of Gentry; a grandson; two nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Dec. 15 at the Wesleyan Church of Rogers with Pastor Dave Hadsell.
Burial was at the Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice, 34 Colt Square, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701.

Charles Henderson Dietrich
Charles Henderson Dietrich, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Jan. 12, 2005, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., to Earle Dietrich and Carman Dietrich.
He graduated from Kansas University with a degree in civil engineering, and from the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a masters degree in business administration.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, including at Chosin Reservoir. He worked for Colgate Company for 37 years, retiring to Bella Vista where he lived for 17 years. He was a member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church and was on many committees, including Vestry and Columbarium. He enjoyed playing golf and shot 72 this summer. He also enjoyed working on his computer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Yolanda Dietrich.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Bonnie Dietrich; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg Dietrich and Paul Dietrich, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Charles A. Dietrich and his wife Laura Dietrich of Akron, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Janine Dixler and her husband Keith Dixler of Peoria, Ill.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for friends and family was held Jan. 17 at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road in Bella Vista, with Father Edwin K. Sisk.
Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, AR 72714.

Jack "Smilin' Jack" Edward Goldstein
Jack "Smilin' Jack" Edward Goldstein, 57, of Cave Springs, Ark., died Jan. 15, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born July 28, 1947, in Boston, Mass., the son of Sidney and Laurel Harrison Goldstein.
He moved to the northwest Arkansas area in the summer of 1988 from Jacksonville, Fla.
He enjoyed antique watches and trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors included his wife of 12 years, Vickie Lynn Goldstein, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Adam Goldstein and Tammy Goldstein of Bella Vista, Ark., and Randy Reedy and Jennifer Reedy of Springdale, Ark.; three daughters, Shannon Feathers of Bentonville, Ark., Vandi Goldstein of Rogers, Ark., and Amanda Reedy-Bacon and her husband Chris Bacon of Springdale; one brother, Frank Goldstein of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Anne Goldstein of Miami, Fla., and Randi Goldstein of New Hampshire; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Jan. 18 at Stockdale Funeral Services. Cremation followed the service.
Honorary pallbearers were Eric Stanek, Cole-Pan, Jacob Leach and Adam Goldstein.

Helen Congrove Green
Helen Congrove Green, 88, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Jan. 14, 2005. Services are pending with Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville, Ark.
