Delford Everett Hatch
Delford Everett Hatch, 86, of Bella Vista, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. He was born March 16, 1916, in Morgan Hills, Calif., to Roy L. and Alma Rebecca Kenworthy Hatch.
He was a 1934 graduate of Live Oak Union High School in Morgan Hills. He and his wife moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Hutchinson, Kan.
He retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft (now Boeing Co.) in Long Beach, Calif., in 1976. He was a lifetime member of the National Council of Senior Citizens, and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bentonville, the Arkansas Seniors Organized for Progress 1074, UAW 148, the AARP since 1973, and the BPO Elks 3453 in Hutchinson.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Heape Hatch; and three friends, Ervine Xavier of Yountville, Calif., Ron and Dixie Cox of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and their families.
Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.
Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2520 S.E. 14th St., Bentonville, Ark. (72712).

Wilbur 'Bud' Warren Manire
Wilbur "Bud" Warren Manire, 87, of Bella Vista, died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Rogers. He was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Green Forest, to Henry Wilbur and Ida Warren Manire.
He married Patricia Price on Oct. 21, 1939, in Chicago. He moved to Bella Vista two months ago from Bemidji, Minn.
He lived in the Chicago area before retiring to Bemidji, where he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He worked for the Brach Candy Co. in Chicago for 43 years. He was active with Boy Scouts, baseball, Little League and the Senior Center.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Manire; two sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Wanda Manire of Ozark, Ala., Dennis and Cindy Manire of Titusville, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Lee Davis of Bella Vista, and Sandra Manire of Bentonville; a sister, Nadine Cory of Roswell, N.M.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Jebsen officiating. A second service will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji.
Burial will be in Villa Park, Ill.
Cremation arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Bradley 'Brad' Mason Osmundson
He moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Webster City, Iowa. He was the owner of a third generation family business.
He was a member of Bella Vista United Methodist Church, a past master of the Masonic Lodge, president of the Rotary Club, and served on the board of the Congregational Church in Webster City. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lavonne Osmundson; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mary Osmundson of Crested Butte, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Gjoa and John Kuberry of Houston, Texas; a sister, Georgia Mollenhoff of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Christa Kuberry, Sarah Kuberry, Mick Osmundson and Marissa Osmundson.
Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in Webster City, Iowa.
Local arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, Ark. (72714); or to Hospice in Webster City.

Mary Helen Porch
Mary Helen Porch, 75, of Bentonville, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Green Forest, Ark., to Jewel I. and Ina Watkins Braswell.
She was the wife of an Air Force sergeant, and the couple lived in Texas before retiring to Arkansas in 1962. She was a longtime resident of Bentonville, where her husband worked in law enforcement. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill N. Porch; and a brother, Jack Braswell of Noel, Mo.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Bella Vista Funeral Home of Bella Vista. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, in the Bella Vista Funeral Home chapel.
Memorials may be made to the National Pancreas Foundation, P.O. Box 935, Wexford, Pa. (15090-0935).

Albert Ernest Pounder
Albert Ernest Pounder, 87, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at his home. He was born May 9, 1915, in Kansas to Albert and Rosenia Pounder.
He married Ruby Spraybeary on Jan. 9, 1960, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was an operating engineer in California and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of Local Union 12 and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Pounder; a daughter, Vickie Shadrick of Fayetteville; two sons, George Ricky Pounder of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Albert Pounder Jr. of Mountainburg; a stepson, William Warren of Dallas, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Benton County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Rogers, with the Rev. Lester Shadrick officiating. Military rites were provided by Bella Vista Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9063 Honor Guard.
Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.

Luie Robinson
Luie Robinson, 76, of Rogers, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at his home. He was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Rogers to Ruby and Della Taylor Robinson.
He was a longtime resident of Garfield, and was a farmer. After retiring from farming, he moved to Rogers.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Robinson, Bob Robinson and Alf Robinson.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Martha Robinson; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kim Robinson of Rogers; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Randy Snoderly of Garfield; four sisters, Lillian King of Harrison, Viola Guinn of Kansas City, Mo., Betty Smith of Springfield, Mo., and Joan Nowlin of Bella Vista; five grandchildren, Tyler Robinson, Chelsea Robinson, Whitney Robinson, Nancee Snoderly and Ellen Snoderly; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home chapel with Craig Villines officiating. Burial was at Walnut Hill cemetery in Avoca.
Memorials may be made to Freedom Freewill Baptist Church Youth Group, care of Donnie Maness, 15047 Woodslodge Road, Garfield, Ark.; or to St. Mary's Hospice, 1200 W. Walnut St., Rogers. Ark. (72756).

Pat Rochette
Pat Rochette, 84, of Rogers, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Brighton House Care Center in Rogers. She was born March 7, 1918, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Charles Henry and Nelly Turner Williams.
She married Roland W. Rochette in July 1938 in Buenos Aires.
She enjoyed sports and gardening, especially planting flowers. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, and moved to Rogers from Argentina in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland W. Williams; two sisters; and four brothers.
Inurnment was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers with Andrew Carrington officiating.
Cremation arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.
Memorials may be made to Brighton House Care Center of Rogers.

Eloise Herring Weatherby
Eloise Herring Weatherby, 88, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at her home. She was born Feb. 8, 1914, in Tahoka, Texas, to Millard and Mabel Shook Herring.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1978 from St. Louis.
She married James Lee Weatherby on Oct. 15, 1936, in Dallas, Texas. She was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Bella Vista Women's Club and Bella Vista Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James Weatherby; a daughter, Gail Allen of Houston; a son and daughter-in-law, James Lee Jr. and Alice Weatherby of Austin, Texas; a sister, Beth Herring Singleton of Houston; four grandchildren, Austin Weatherby and Alison Ward, both of Houston, Clark Weatherby and Beth Weatherby McHorse, both of Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Emily Allen and Lael Weatherby.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Bella Vista Baptist Church.
Cremation arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Bentonville.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association; or to Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice in Fayetteville.

Alice Mae Whitlock
Alice Mae Whitlock, 87, of Bella Vista, died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1914, in Fillmore County, Minn., to Olaf and Minnie Nesbit Thoreson.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1985 from Minnesota, and attended Fellowship Bible Church and, more recently, Village Baptist Church.
She worked the family farm for many years. She then operated a lake resort, and later worked at the Minnesota State Hospital as a psychiatric aide.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Whitlock, in 1993.
Survivors include a son, James R. Whitlock of Alexandra, Minn.; four daughters, Pat Blackburn of Bella Vista, Sharon Stilwell of Rogers, Joan Milic of Surprise, Ariz., and Charlotte Affeldt of Medical Lake, Wash.; one brother, Arthur Thoreson of Franklin, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Fayetteville National cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bowen officiating. No visitation is planned.
Funeral arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1200 W. Walnut St., Rogers, Ark. (72756); Village Baptist Church, 380 Glasgow Road, Bella Vista, Ark. (72715); or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Ray Wolford Wilkerson Jr.
Ray Wolford Wilkerson Jr., 54, of Garfield, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Bentonville, to Ray Sr. and Josephine Tiddle Wilkerson.
He was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a cattleman and attended Brightwater United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Ray Wilkerson Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilkerson; and a sister, Leah Whitehead of Bella Vista.
There was no visitation. Graveside funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Buttram Chapel cemetery in Pea Ridge, with the Rev. Lowell Sartin.
