Arvin J. Honey
NEWPORT -- Arvin J. Honey, 91, of Newport died Saturday.
He was born Oct. 3, 1914, in Jackson County, the son of Thomas and Mary Anderson Honey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Echo Honey; two daughters, Ivy Ray Zebio and Inia May Gorney; and his parents.
Mr. Honey is survived by a son, Thomas C. Honey of Florida; five grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home, with Charles Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Hillis Lonnie Johnson
PORTIA -- Hillis Lonnie Johnson, 64, of Portia died Saturday, Dec. 24, at Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
He was a truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Elvis Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda G. Moore Johonson of the home; sons Michael Johnson of Boise, Idaho, and Jon Johnson of Crestview, Fla.; sisters Charlene Johnson and Pam Stoner, both of Fayetteville; brother Willis Johnson of Farmington, Mo.; and grandchild Shelby Lynn Johnson.
Pallbearers are Vaughn Johnson, Shane Stayton, Benny Stayton, Tommy Dunlap, Jr., Jerry Moore Jr. and Jeff Rickey.
Honorary pallbearers include Aaron Richey, Seth Dunlap, Tyler Rickey, Trey Moore and Phillip Dunlap.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with burial in Stranger's Home Cemetery
near Alicia. Robert Davis will officiate. Burial is under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Emmett Lawrence Massey
POCAHONTAS -- Emmett Lawrence Massey passed away Sunday at the age of 78 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Stella Marshall Massey; two sisters; and his wife, June Massey.
He is survived by two daughters, Rheta Enfinger of Janesville, Wis. and Tonya Walton of Freeport, Ill.; a son, Kerry Massey of Pocahontas; a brother, Delmar Massey of Walcott; two sisters, Etta Stone of Bono and Bonnie Fender of Walnut Ridge; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McNabb Funeral Home, with Larry Owen and Sam Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, with VFW Promberger Traw Post 4556, performing military honors.
Jack Stormes
PARAGOULD -- Jack Stormes, 78, of Paragould, formerly of Knobel, died Dec. 26, 2005, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.
He was a retired farmer and member of Knobel Pentecostal Church. He was united in marriage to Liddie Humphrey Stormes on Feb. 12, 1948.
Survivors include his wife, Liddie Stormes of Paragould; three sons, Danny Stormes of Walnut Ridge and Edward Stormes and Roger Stormes, both of Paragould; two daughters, Carolyn Venson of Pocahontas and Karen Arnold of Walnut Ridge; a sister, Mary Jane Riley of Paragould; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Hosea Cemetery
at Knobel.
Christine Tims
TUCKERMAN -- Christine Tims of Tuckerman died Saturday at Newport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Julia McAbee Elkins; three brothers, Richard, Ben and Fred Elkins; and two sisters, Rose Morrison and Fannie Clausen.
She is survived by a brother, Gene Elkins of Tuckerman, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dillinger Funeral Home. Interment will be in Gracelawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today. Arrangements are by Dillinger Funeral Home.
Lamarion Daquain Trice
JONESBORO -- Lamarion Daquain Trice, infant son of Mary Elizabeth Lunnie and Chris Lamont Trice of Jonesboro, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Private services will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery
with Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
James Lee 'Red' Vanhoozer
MARKED TREE -- James Lee "Red" Vanhoozer, 55, of Marked Tree died Saturday, Dec. 24, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born May 20, 1950, at Tyronza, he was a farmer, an Army veteran and of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include three sisters, Sandra Kirkland of Cleveland, Miss., and Kay Delong and Robin Hoke, both of Jonesboro; and two brothers, Corley "Skip" Vanhoozer of Tyronza and Charles Vanhoozer of Monteagle, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vollie Vanhoozer and Dorothy Davis.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza, with Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Tyronza Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to members of the Church of Christ faith, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the DAV.
Charles 'David' Weaver
WYNNE -- Charles 'David' Weaver, 59, of Wynne died Sunday, Dec. 25.
He was born at Deere, the son of Abraham Lincoln and Nellie Cordelia Cullum Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Darlene Weaver; two sons, David Allen and Chucky; a daughter, Laynett Morgan; four stepsons; two brothers; three sisters; 22 grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne. Interment will be in Farm Hill Cemetery
at Harrisburg.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Kenneth Leroy Webster
ROGERS -- Kenneth Leroy "Ken" Webster of Rogers passed away Dec. 24, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County.
Born in Rogers on July 3, 1957, to Harold L. and Irene Guss Webster of Rogers, he was a 1975 graduate of Jonesboro High School.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Evelyn Webster and Kenneth and Maude Guss, formerly of Rogers.
He is survived by his parents, Harold and Irene Webster of Rogers; a brother, Shawn A. Webster of Senecaville, Ohio; a sister, Belynda N. Helton and her husband James and daughter Cheyenne Nelson; his companion, Kenneth Boyle of the home; nephews Micah and Andrew Gammill Webster; two aunts, Wilma Mayfield and husband James and Janie Webster, all of Rogers; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Church of the Nazarene of Rogers.

MARMADUKE -- Funeral services for Ellen White, 47, of Marmaduke, who died Dec. 24, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Marmaduke First Baptist Church, with Kim Bridges officiating. Internment will be in Hartsoe Cemetery, with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Slick" White, in 2003; and her father, Johnnie Damon Sr.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Amy Wyatt Shelly Renee White and Jeremy White; her mother, Levonia Farmer Damon; her sisters, Sue and Terry Burgess and Lee Sharp; a brother, Johnnie Damon Jr.; and three grandchildren, Eliana Wyatt, Chandler Wyatt and Hunter Walker.
