Louise Kathleen Peoples DeRossett, 83 of Fayetteville died Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Fayetteville. She was born March 1, 1927 in Hackett, Arkansas the daughter of Offie Peoples and Cora Rook Peoples.
She was an Assembly of God member and was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mildred and Bernice.
Survivors include a son, Frank DeRossett, Jr. of Auxier, Kentucky; a sister, Nancy Sharon Baskin of Fort Myers, FL; brother, Buddy Peoples of Fayetteville, AR; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10AM, Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Beard's Chapel with Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View cemetery at 1:00PM, Tuesday near Hackett, Arkansas under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
The family will receive friends at Beard's Chapel from 5 to 7PM on Monday.

Snowden W. Disney

Snowden W. Disney, 75 of Elkins died Monday, October 4, 2010 in Kansas City, MO. He was born May 7, 1935 in Lincoln, Arkansas the son of Rolandis Disney and Ida Iley Disney.
He was co-owner of White River Telephone Company and was preceded in death by a son Snowden Richard Disney.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Disney of Elkins; son, Randall C. Disney of Prairie Grove; daughter, Robyn M. Disney of Kansas City, MO; brother, Herb Disney of Elkins; three sisters, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Mt. Olive cemetery with Reverend Jasper Hankins officiating under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
No visitation is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers and food, the family requests that memorials in his name be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.

Miriam Duncan née Brady
May 13, 1944 - November 1, 2010

FUNERAL SERVICE: Mass 1PM, Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church
INTERMENT: back home in Ireland
Miriam Duncan née Brady, 66, of Fayetteville, died Monday, November 1, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born May 13, 1944, in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland, daughter of James and Josephine Brady. Dedicated service as staff sergeant (retired) in the United States Air Force Intelligence Operations and later served the Washington County Catholic community as an Extraordinary Minster of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Seamus and Hilary Brady. She is survived by sons Michael Reilly and James Brady Morris and his partner Ben Roller, daughter Hilary Brady Morris, brothers Mark and Richard Brady, her sister-in-law Gay Brady, and nieces and nephews Rory, Fiona, Aisling, Niall, Brian, and Aideen Brady.
Funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 4, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville, followed immediately by a reception at 2:00 pm.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3 from 6-8 pm, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Mayo Clinic of Rochester, Minnesota, for cancer research, in memory of Miriam Olivia Brady Duncan.

Mildred "Louise" Dunn
September 23, 1909 - September 5, 2010

INTERMENT: Mount Comfort cemetery
Mildred 'Louise' Dunn, 100 of Fayetteville died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale after a short illness. She was born in Fayetteville on September 23, 1909 the daughter of Hayden and Maude Evans Cooper.
She was a long time member of the Eastern Stars, Amaranth and Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dunn and daughter, Emma Sue Hanna.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Dunn and his wife, Mary Lou and Burnie Joe Dunn and his wife, Shirlene; and a son-in-law, Bob Hanna all of the Fayetteville area; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10AM, Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Mount Comfort cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Tuesday at Beard's Chapel.
The family requests that memorials be made in her name to Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church, P O Box 1145 Fayetteville, Arkansas 72702 or to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.

Linda Jean Estep

Linda Jean Estep, 66 of Fayetteville died Friday, August 20, 2010 at her home. She was born October 5, 1943 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of C.B. McGowan and Pearl Bryant McGowan.
She loved to garden and sing to grandchildren and was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Leland and Wayne McGowan.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Lean King of Fayetteville, Janice King of Springdale; 2 sons, David King of California, Mickey King of Fayetteville; sister, Anita Bearden of Huntsville; 2 brothers, Ronnie McGowan and Cecil McGowan both of Dallas, TX; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Beard's Chapel.

Gary James Harris, 52 of Fayetteville died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. He was born April 30, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Bennie Harris and Thelma Oxford Harris.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Nicole Harris.
Survivors include his parents, Bennie and Thelma Harris of Fayetteville; sister, Sherry Carroll of Springdale; 2 nieces, Stephanie and her husband, Jeremy Mounce, Katy Carroll both of Springdale; and a great-nephew, Cooper Allen Mounce of Springdale.
Funeral service will be 11AM, Monday, September 27, 2010 at Beard's Chapel with Pastor Don Warford officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4PM Sunday at Beard's Chapel.

John Vernon Henson

John Vernon Henson, 54, of Winslow died Wednesday November 10, 2010 in Winslow. He was born December 7, 1955 in Fayetteville the son of Jess and Flora Hall Henson.
He had worked in the Timber Work and life long resident of Winslow.
He is survived by his sister, Lena Weldon of Brentwood, AR; 2-brothers, Jesse Henson of Chester, AR and Landan Henson of Winslow, AR
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Coyle cemetery at Winslow with Rev. Roy Biswell officiating.

INTERMENT: Walnut Grove cemetery at Crosses, AR
Leonard Franklin Jordan, 80, of Fayetteville died Monday November 15, 2010 in Fayetteville. He was born February 17, 1930 in Lincoln, AR the son of Oscar and Maggie Mustin Jordan.
He worked as a licensed Boiler Operator, served in Korean Conflict from 1950 - 1952; had served as deacon in the Hindsville Baptist Church several years ago; He will be remembered for his generosity, smile and quick sense of humor.
Survivors include his caring family, Lenora Jordan of Combs; 2-sons, Bobby Frank Jordan and Terry Wayne Jordan and wife, Deanna all of Fayetteville; 2-granddaughters; 1-sister, Ida Perkins of Farmington and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Reverend Danny Beard officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Durham Free Will Baptist Church P.O. Box 373 Elkins, AR 72727.

Jonathon Lee Warford
January 11, 1987 - September 18, 2010

Jonathon Lee Warford, 23, of Elkins died Saturday September 18, 2010 in Elkins.
He was born January 11, 1987 in Madison County, the son of Johnny and Edith Reynolds Warford.
He worked for Provence Saw Mill and was of the Baptist Faith.
He also loved to play music.
Survivors include his parents both of Elkins; 6-sisters, Jeannie Shepherd of Bidville AR, Joann Lewis of Durhan, Jennifer Littrell of Hindsville, Kendal Warford of Elkins, Sidney Warford of Huntsville and Brittni Bynum of Farmington; his partner in life, Jennifer Broyle and children, Lexi Broyle and Kaden Broyle of the home; 3-nephews, 2-nieces and one great-nephew.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Reverends Eugene Provence and Ray Shackleford officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Allen Ray Walker, 59 of Fayetteville died Monday, October 18, 2010 in Fayetteville.
He was born March 18, 1951 in Fayetteville, Arkansas the son of James Logan and Elva Thompson.
He was employed by Scurlock Industries for several years most spent as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Theresa Walker of the home; 2 sons, Co’Tray Malik Walker, Jordan Alexander Walker both of Fayetteville; daughter, Jana Marie Lorntson of Fayetteville; 2 sisters, Edna Walker, Dora Richardson both of Fayetteville; and a brother, Roger Walker of Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be 2PM, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Beard's Chapel with burial to follow in Oak cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Beard's Chapel from 4 to 6PM on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund in his name at any Arvest Bank
