Ernest E. Bailey
BATESVILLE, Miss. -- Ernest E. Bailey, 81, formerly of Paragould, died Thursday in Batesville, Miss.
He was retired from Missouri-Pacific Railroad, where he worked as yardmaster and conductor in Memphis and was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jodi Bailey; granddaughter, Erin Bailey; stepgranddaughters, Kayla Helms, all of Batesville, Corri Helms of Gulfport, Miss.; and stepgrandson, Ronnie Helms Jr. of Starkville, Miss.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greene County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Scott Neathery officiating.
Heath Funeral Home of Paragould is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Reva Carter
MAYNARD -- Reva Carter, 85, of Maynard died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at the Randolph County Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, J.W. Carter of the home; one sister, Olive Wright of Maynard; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Cox-Waymon Funeral Home of Pocahontas.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery
at Pitman. Butler Smith will officiate.
Susan Drozdz
JONESBORO -- Mrs. Susan Malin Drozdz, 92, of Jonesboro passed away Dec. 31, 2005.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore Drozdz of the home.
She is also survived by four children, Karin Drozdz Ameika of Jonesboro, Theodore V. Drozdz of West Warwick, R.I., Dennis T. Drozdz of Houston and Susan N. Drozdz of Mansfield, Texas, and two grandchildren, Lily Leilani Ameika of Jonesboro and Victor D. Leonard of Mansfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of First United Methodist Church with Edward Pruett officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are James A. Ameika, M.D., Dennis T. Drozdz, Theodore V. Drozdz, Victor D. Leonard, Michael L. Issacson, M.D., Ray Hall, M.D., and Joe Clay Young IV.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time at First United Methodist Chapel.
Paul Gennings
PARKLAND, Fla. -- Paul "Eddie" Gennings, 50, of Parkland, formerly of Jonesboro, died at Coral Springs, Fla., on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
Eddie was born in Jonesboro and graduated in 1973 from Jonesboro High School, where he was a 3-sport athlete. He also attended Arkansas State University.
Survivors include his son, Paul Edward Gennings of Parkland; a daughter, Holly Gennings of Parkland; his parents, Marlin and Ardelle Gennings of Jonesboro; two brothers, Grady Gennings of Memphis and John Gennings of Pineville, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro with the Rev. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will be private. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
No visitation is planned.
John Glass
TILTON -- John Willis Glass of Tilton, 88, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Gilbert Glass and Maggie Isabell McCullough Glass, six brothers, two sisters, a grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Glass lived all of his adult life in Cross County. He was a welder and a machinist and was employed by Holleman Seed Farm, Howard Taylor of Hickory Ridge and Shaw and House. He was a member of the Tilton United Methodist Church at Hickory Ridge.
Survivors include his wife, Georgie A. White Glass of the home; sons, Charles A. Glass and Dallas F. Glass of Hillsboro, Mo.; daughters, Linda C. Raymer of Collinsville, Ill., Carmen R. Ford of Harrisburg, and Leah D. Baker of Tilden, Ill.; brother, George Glass of Tilton; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial at Lewis Cemetery
at Hickory Ridge.

TRUMANN -- Ellis Goff, 75, of Trumann died Saturday at the NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

JONESBORO -- Mrs. Joan Umfress Gregson, 52, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Dec. 31, at the NEA Medical Center.

POCAHONTAS -- Geraldine Grissom, 91, died Thursday, Dec. 29, in Randolph Home.
She is survived by a son, Doug Grissom of Warm Springs; two daughters, Lois Fluke and Glenna Lewis, both of Pocahontas; three brothers, Rector Williams of Pocahontas and Robert and Eugene Williams, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Lucille Phillips of St. Louis and Betty Kimery of Memphis; three grandchildren; and four geat-grandchildren.
Funeral services are will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with interment following in Siloam Cemetery.
Elvis Moore
BONO -- Elvis Andrew Moore, age 81, of Bono died Saturday, Dec. 31, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Debra Neighbors
NEWPORT -- Debra Sue Turner Neighbors, 40, of Newport died Saturday.
She was born Feb. 1, 1965, the daughter of Gerald and Brenda Sue Turner, who survive her.
Other survivors include one son, Jonathan Neighbors of Memphis; one daughter, Amanda Neighbors of Newport; two brothers, Steven Turner and William Michael Turner; one sister, Anita Willis; her grandfather and stepgrandmother, Billy and Evelyn Davis; four nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Church. Interment will be in Watson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday.

Mary Pugh
TUCKERMAN -- Mary Pugh, 80, of Tuckerman died Saturday at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolph and Sallie Chisam; one son, Geary Milligan; one daughter, Wilma June Milligan; and one sister, Dean LeMay.
She was a housewife and a member of the Tuckerman Church of Christ. She loved quilting and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pugh; three sons, Larry Milligan and wife Nancy of Troy, Texas, Doug Milligan and wife Sheree of Conway, and Bob Milligan and wife Mitzie of Tuckerman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
