Flora E.W.F. Hunter
ARKADELPHIA - Flora Ellen West Francis Hunter, 85, of Arkadelphia died Sunday, May 21, 2000.

Born July 25, 1914, in Caddo Township, Clark County, to Dee and Grace Wingfield West, she was an Oberman Manufacturing employee, Well Shoe Store clerk and member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leo Elsworth Francis; one brother, Roy West; and three sisters, Eva Sossamon, Lois Cox and Nettie Callaway.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Hunter; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Ellen Francis of Arkadelphia; one stepdaughter, Peggy Hunter Chapman of Madison, Tenn.; two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Dr. John Small and the Rev. Bob Langley officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wallace Calloway, Ron Loy, Jerry Francis, Ronnie Riggle, Charles Orr and Vernie Langley.

Burial will be in Golden cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church Building Fund.

Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Marjorie S. McMullen
MALVERN - Marjorie Slaughter McMullen, 79, of Malvern died Monday, May 22, 2000, at home.

Born Sept. 3, 1920, in Hot Spring County to William E. and Florence Janetta Hughes Russell, she was a charter member, first secretary and Sunday Schl teacher at Emmanuel Baptist Church, president of the Ladies Auxiliary and past member of Hot Spring County Historical Society. She was predeceased by one stepson, Jerry McMullen.

Survivors include her husband, William E. “Mn” McMullen; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Bobby and Linda McMullen of Malvern; two stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Nelda and Louis Wingfield of Malvern and LaNelle Politis of Vidor, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Doyne and Polly Russell of Hot Springs; stepgrandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Regency Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Todd Bray and Bobby McMullen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Thornton, John Corley, Curt Henderson, Terry Littles, Olen Sims, Thomas Blackerby, Jack Butler, Aubrey Pennington and Clifford Green.

Honorary pallbearers are Emmanuel Baptist Church Adult Ladies Sunday Schl class.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.

The family will be at 510 E. Sullenberger.

Chastine V.L. Miller
MENA - Chastine Virginia Lively Miller, 74, of Mena, formerly of Mount Ida, died Saturday, May 20, 2000.

Born May 22, 1925, in Black Springs to Gaylon and Faye Crump Lively, she was a Department of Motor Vehicles accounting control supervisor. She was predeceased by her husband, Royce D. Miller; one brother, Otis Lively; and one nephew, Joe Lively.

Survivors include one sister, Maedean Hughbanks of Mount Ida; four nephews; and two nieces.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Brother Tony Busby officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Fred Vines, Ronnie Waggoner, Marty Waggoner and D.M. Beck.

Arrangements are by Beasley-Wd Funeral Home.

Wilma J. Sims
REYBURN COMMUNITY - Wilma Jane Sims, 75, of Reyburn Community died Friday, May 19, 2000, in Tulsa Okla.

Born June 12, 1924, at Alpine to Jesse James and Ella Jane Mauldin Langston, she was a homemaker and member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Lonard Herbert Sims; one son, Herbert Edward Sims; and three brothers, Jesse C. Langston, James Howard Langston and Sam W. Langston.

Survivors include one son, John Charles Sims of Conroe, Texas; four daughters, Betty Lou Gkin of Fort Smith, Shirley Ann Hall of Malvern, Shelia Diane Roby of Benton and Sandra Kay Litton of Tulsa; two sisters, Gladys Mackey of Searcy and Jewell Hardin of Hernando, Miss.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers Todd Bray and Don McCutcheon officiating.

Pallbearers will be Todd Gkin, Wade Hall, Heath Hall, Kevin Sims, Blake Litton and James Pearson,

Honorary pallbearers are James Hardin, Tom Hardin, Danny Hardin, Victor Langston and Sammy Langston.

Burial will be in Fairplay cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Atkinson Funeral Home.

Grady H. Tidwell
Grady Harris Tidwell, 81, of Hot Springs died Sunday, May 21, 2000.

Born May 10, 1919, in Mount Tabor Community to Ed and Delia Long Tidwell, he was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was predeceased by three brothers, Granville Tidwell, Grover Tidwell and Garland Tidwell; one sister, Grace Carter; and three nephews, Huey Tidwell, Ronnie Tidwell and Don Tidwell.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Forga Tidwell of Hot Springs; one daughter, Judy Nutt of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Tippi McCullough of Little Rock and Brett McCullough; and one great-grandson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Tabor Community Church with the Rev. J.B. Evans officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are John Carter, Dewitt Forga, Charles Forga, Danny Forga, Dr. P.K. Reddy and St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center nursing home.

Burial will be in Mount Tabor cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Robert L. Trinkle
WILMINGTON, Calif. - Robert Lee Trinkle, 80, of Wilmington, Calif., died Thursday, May 17, 2000.

Born Dec. 14, 1919, in Marengo, Ind., he was a life member, past president and on the Broad of Directors of the Lions Club, member of Elks Club, VFW and Salvation Army Advisory Board, U.S. Navy World War II veteran and plant general manager retired from Long Beach Quaker Oats.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Margie Keith Trinkle; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Keith and JoAnne Trinkle of Cypress, Calif.; one sister, Ada Agan of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Trinkle of Long Beach and Curtis Trinkle of Springfield, Ohio; five sisters-in-law, Mary Keith Kinnaird, Ruby Keith and June Keith, all of Hot Springs, Hazel Keith Littleton of Pasadena, Texas, and Billie Marie Keith Story of Dothan, Ala.; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

Arrangements are by Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes.

Elias E. Williams
Elias E. Williams, 60, of Hot Springs died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at home.

Born April 23, 1940, to Osby Mernivie and Aldophus Williams, he was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church. He was predeceased by one son, Kerry Williams.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Collier of Pine Bluff and Kyle Jones Williams of Hot Springs; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Ellis Marshall of Memphis, Tenn., Dellyn Osby Sundae of Oakland, Calif., and Monique and DeShon Stokes of Detroit; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, the Rev. Columbus and Gwenell Osby and Thaddious and Helen Osby, all of Hot Springs, Billy Joe and Donna Burtrain and Brienson Osby, all of Stuggart, Donald and Gloria Williams of Fontana, Calif., and John Carnell Osby of San Diego; eight sisters and four brothers-in-law, Mable Hart, Gwendolyn Smith, Raynell Williams and Antoinette and Danny Boykins, all of Chicago, and Shirley and Johnny Warren, Gloria and George Broady, Gratha and Kenneth Butler and Verdia Mae Talbert, all of Stuggart; his stepmother, Helen Williams of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at Brandon’s Mortuary. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church, Stuttgart, with the Rev. Columbus Osby officiating.

Burial will be in Gum Wd cemetery, Humnoke.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family will be at 414 Auduban St.

Felicia J. Bacanskas
Felicia J. Bacanskas, 85, of Hot Springs died Friday, May 26, 2000, in a local nursing home.

Arrangements will be announced by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

John L. Barnett Jr.
John Lawrence Barnett Jr., 77, of Hot Springs died Thursday, June 2, 2000, at home.

Born Feb. 15, 1923, at Louisville, Ky., he was a U.S. Army veteran.

The body will be cremated.

Arrangements are by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Willie V. Bradshaw
Willie Vernist Bradshaw, 84, of El Dorado died Thursday, June 1, 2000.

Born Nov. 9, 1915, at Ouachita County to Charles R. 'Sonny' and Hattie Mae Crowell Bradshaw, he was a supervisor for the Union County Highway Department and member of Hillsboro Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Charles Parker of El Dorado; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Melba Bradshaw of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Richard Bradshaw Jr. of St. Louis and Jennifer Anderson of New York; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Morris Bradshaw of Fayetteville, Charles Bradshaw of Los Angeles and James Bradshaw of Locust Bayou; three sisters, Irene Mitchell and Dorris Morrison, both of Locust Bayou, and Vera Fielder of Longview, Texas; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Proctor Funeral Home chapel, Camden.

Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery, near Camden.
