Jewell D. Everett

DALLAS - Jewell Darlene Everett, 83, of Dallas, formerly of Fulton, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000.

Born Feb. 10, 1917, at Orange County, Ind., to George and Maude Dinklocker, she was a member of California Lane Church of Christ. She was predeceased by her husband, John Everett.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gale and Mary Everett and Mickey Everett, all of Dallas and Glen and Mable Everett of Cedar Hill; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue Everett of Dallas and Sharon and Tim Wright of Arkadelphia; a brother, Paul Dinklocker of Marengo, Ind.; three sisters, Marion Wilkins of Peoria, Ind., Ruth Walton of New Albany, Ind., and Mary M. Chapman of Charlestown, S.C.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Gardens at Hope.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Jewel M. Patterson

Services for Jewel M. Patterson, 94, of Hot Springs, who died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Ketcher officiating.

Pallbearers will be Clovis Edwards, R.J. Dunn, Lance Dunn, David Parks, Ronnie Edwards and Ricky Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers are Drs.. Elton Stecker and Rheeta Stecker and St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center Second Flr staff.

Burial will be in Greenwd cemetery

Vera Roberts
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Vera Roberts, 77, of Hot Springs Village, formerly of Hoffman Estates, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at a Hot Springs nursing home.

Born June 24, 1923, at Dunn, N.C., to Paul Brock and Margaret Geneva Barnes Kelly, she was collection supervisor for First Bank of Chicago and a member of DeSoto Women’s club, Village Bridge Club, Duplicate Bridge Club, Better Bridger and Village United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James M. “Joe” Roberts Sr. of the Hot Springs Village; a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Debra Roberts of Papillion, Neb.; a daughter, Rita Ann Black of Rochester, Minn.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary and John Williams of Charlottesville, Va., and Margaret Weaver of Concord, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Todd Roberts, Jeff Roberts and Michelle Black; and a great-grandchild.

The body will be cremated .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 8032, Hot Springs Village, AR 71910.

Larry Rogers
The Rev. Larry Rogers, 61, of Hot Springs died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, in Knoxville, Tenn.

Born Nov. 23, 1938, at Hope, he was a member of Pentecostal Church of God. He was predeceased by Milton Walker and Dorothy Harley Vines Rogers.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Rogers of Hot Springs; two brothers, Michael P. Rogers of Mesquite, Texas, and David Milton Rogers of Red Oak, Texas; and a sister, Donna Gail Mau of Lancaster, Texas.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church of God with the Revs. Myrna Marble, Wayne Morrow, B.J. Denton, Darren Bolt, Agustin Tena and Windel Magar officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Lehmann, Rodney “Rocky” James, Mark Morrow, Jeffrey Ford, Timothy Ford, Gregory Ford, Perry Helton and Raymond Morrow.

Honorary pallbearers are George Rp, the Revs. Roy Hardin, Phil Vaughn, Howard Vines and F.L. Richardson, Pastor Josephine Bell, Robert Staley and all the brothers in the ministry.

Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Arrangements are by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Annie M. White
Annie M. White of Hot Springs died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at a local hospital.

Born in Winona, Miss., she was a Presbyterian and member of the Presbyterian Emblem Club.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gross Funeral Home chapel with Monsignor Leo Reidmueller officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwd cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Arlis Young
MALVERN - Arlis Young, 79, of Malvern died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at his home.

Born Dec. 31, 1920, at Willow to Horace Greely and Mary Ethel Childers Young, he was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, retired as a self-employed building contractor and was a member of the Locust Hill Hunt Club. He was predeceased by two sisters, Vanetia Foils and Betty Sue Young.

Survivors include his wife, Eulah Bea Young; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn and Tom Poston, Paulette and Tommy Overton and Connie Tidwell, all of Malvern; four sisters, Gene Pettit, Inez Hays and Dorothy Bolliers, all of Malvern and Ida Mae Voss of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three brothers, Nolen Young of Canon City, Colo., Craig Young of Camden and Reece Young of Traskwd; six granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Regency Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Diane Brown and Lee Walker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert Young, Richard Thomas, David Orr, Alfred Fite, Doug Young and Scott Wright.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Locust Hill Hunting Club.

Burial will be in Rockport Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Marshall B. Campbell
Services for Marshall Burk Campbell, 77, of Hot Springs who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Brothers Roy McLeod and Charles Mays officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jim Ward, Bill Smith, Jessie Cogburn, Jody Ballard, George Huggins and Mike Scarber.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. I. David Rogers and staff, Hospice Home Care staff, Johnny Robbins and his nephews and grandsons.

Burial will be in Mount Tabor cemetery, Glenwd.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care.

The family will be at 119 Douglas Drive.

Abigail E. Casement
BENTON -– Abigail Eileen Casement, 66, of Benton died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, in a Benton hospital.

Born May 5, 1934, in Chicago to Robert and Roberta Casement, she was Baptist.

Survivors include two brothers, William Casement of Hot Springs and John Casement of Hesperia, Calif.; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

Private memorial services will be held at Benton Services Center chapel with Dewayne Stone officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Clyde H. Johnson
Clyde Haven Johnson, 89, of Hot Springs died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at home.

Born April 7, 1911, near Conway, Mo., to Walter H. and Delilah Gdson Johnson, she was Presbyterian, a member of Masonic Lodge, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and owned and operated a motel and other businesses. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joel Johnson and Lavaughn Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Florence Johnson of Hot Springs; one sister, Jeanette Sheldon of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon, Mo., with the Rev. Darren Myers officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lebanon.

Elizabeth A. Oliver
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -– Elizabeth Ann Oliver, 76, of Hot Springs Village died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, in a local hospital.

Born June 10, 1924, in Lake Forrest, Ill., to Paul T. and Rose C. Condon Price, she was a Shepard Chevrolet parts department cashier in Lake Bluff, Ill., and member of First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post 264 Auxiliary of Lake Forrest. She was predeceased by one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Robert G. Oliver of Hot Springs Village; two sons, David R. Oliver of Sugar Mill Wds, Homosassa, Fla., and Paul G. Oliver of Hot Springs Village; one uncle, Jim Condon of Bourbonnais, Ill.; two grandchildren; and four nephews.

No local services are planned.

Burial will be in Lake Forrest city cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Lake Forrest Hospital, Oncology Department, 660 North Westmoreland Road, Lake Forrest, IL 60045.

Arrangements are by CedarVale Funeral Home.

Claude C. Robertson
HOUSTON –- Claude C. Robertson, 83, of Houston, formerly of Malvern, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Neva Josephine Siratt Robertson; two sons and daughters-in-law, C. Milton and Debbie Robertson and J. Alton and Dorothy Robertson; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Joseph Cole; four grandchildren, Dawn Hunter, Cody Swan, Shane Robertson and Dawn Fennell; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Florence Hall, Mildred and Lloyd Smith and Ruth and Ed Coston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clark and Ruby Robertson and Bob and Betty Robertson; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Atkinson Funeral Home chapel, Malvern.

Burial will be in Prairie Bayou cemetery, Malvern.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 9101 Airline, Houston, TX 77037.
