Arlen Dale Campbell Jr.

TRUMANN -- Mr. Arlen Dale "Junior" Campbell Jr., 33, of Trumann, died Jan. 29, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a forklift operator for Global Manufacturing in Trumann and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

He is survived by his wife, Pattie, of the home; one stepson, Jacque Tyler of the home; his mother, Carolyn Jean Mack Campbell of Trumann; his father and stepmother, Arlen Dale Campbell Sr. and Carol Campbell of Cherokee Village; two sisters, Carolyn Jeanette Campbell and Tammie Michelle Campbell, both of Trumann; two brothers, Jeremy Andrew Campbell of Cherokee Village, and William Sean Speakman of Bono; and his grandmother, Faye Mack of Trumann.

Funeral service will be Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann with the Rev. Carl Winkles officiating. Burial will follow in the Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Zapata, Danny Sowells, Danny Hoper, Dennis Eldridge, Derek Wilson, Gary Clayton, and Richard Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Campbell, Josh Campbell, Arron McCrory and John Armstrong Jr.

Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. until time of service at the Church of God of Prophecy on Christy Street in Trumann.

Martha Williams Chambers

PARAGOULD -- Martha Williams Chambers, 72, of Paragould, died Monday. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Edward Andrew Chambers; two daughters, Debra Chambers and Regeina Ruth Goodrich; one brother, Donald Williams of Rector; four sisters, Ellen Edwards and Viola Stephens, of Paragould, Flora Merchant, and Delorice Stewart; and one grandson.

Funeral service is Friday at 10 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m.

Betty A. Cottam

WEST MEMPHIS -- Betty A. Cottam, 73, of West Memphis, passed away Jan. 31, 2006, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with interment in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Mrs. Cottam was a member and communicate of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Cottam of West Memphis; one son, William Cottam of Jonesboro; four daughters, Caren Cottam of West Memphis, Gayle Maxwell of Ripley, Tenn., Amy Reed of Jonesboro and Julie Roeder of West Memphis; one sister, Carol Young of Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded by parents William and Stella Schnider; and a sister, Jane Schnider Franklin.

Memorials may be sent to St. Michael's School Scholarship Fund or Harwood Center of Memphis.

Arvilla Cotten

CORD -- Arvilla Cotten, 75, of Cord died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at White River Medical center in Batesville.

Arrangements will be announced by Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge.

Booker T. Lloyd

MARKED TREE -- Booker T. Lloyd, 79, of Marked Tree died on Feb. 1, 2006.

He was a crane operator and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Lloyd of the home; four sons, Lee T. Lloyd of Jonesboro, Orlando Lloyd of Columbia, Md., Russell Jones of Marked Tree and Edward Jones of Little Rock; a daughter, Beverly Tyler of Maywood, Ill.; a sister, Ester Butler of Jonesboro; and a brother, Matthew Lloyd Sr. of Jonesboro.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Burial will follow at Davis Spur Cemetery in Bay.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Woodard Funeral Service in Marked Tree.

Ada Brown Lorsbach

MARKED TREE -- Ada Brown Lorsbach, 93, of Marked Tree, formerly of Dalton, died Tuesday in Three Rivers Nursing Center. She is survived by one son, Joseph Lorsbach of Marked Tree; two daughters, Helen Davis of Dalton and Barbara Floyd of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Ronnie Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in King Cemetery.

Sgt. James Edward Rainbolt

AUSTIN -- Sgt. James Edward "Jim" Rainbolt, 58, of Austin, died Tuesday at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era, and was employed with the Arkansas State Police for 27 years. He attended the Beebe First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Clarissa "Chris" Rainbolt of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Brent McCullar of Paragould, and Leanna and Jeff Guillory of Columbia, Mo.; mother, Ruth Helen Rainbolt of Paragould; brother, Billy Rainbolt of Charlottesville, Va.; sister, Ruth Ann Mondy of Springfield, Mo.; and grandchildren, Gena and Tyner McCullar, and Lauren and Ben Guillory.

He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Rainbolt.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Heath Colonial Chapel with the Revs. Terry Parrish and Tracy Henson officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the Heath Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Henrietta Ware

JONESBORO -- Henrietta Ware, 81, of Jonesboro, died Jan. 28 at NEA Medical Center. Formerly of Forrest City, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and most recently, her daughter, Alice Washington.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Eunice Green of Jonesboro, three other grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are noon Saturday in Grace Chapel of Woodard Funeral Service in Jonesboro with the Rev. Elder Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Larry M. Ziegenhorn

JONESBORO -- Larry M. Ziegenhorn, 56, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the NEA Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.

Vane Leroy Bailey

BATESVILLE -- Vane Leroy Bailey, age 67, of Batesville died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

He was born July 2, 1938, at Fulton, Mo., to Vane Calvin and Florence L. Bailey. He was a retired self-employed truck-driver and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Batesville.

Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. today in Lee's Chapel Cemetery located on Highway 25 in Batesville, with Paul Maples officiating.

Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

No visitation is planned.

Louise Hunt Bowman

JONESBORO -- Mrs. Louise Hunt Bowman, 89, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at her home in Jonesboro.

Born in Wells, Texas, to William and Mary Hunt, she lived much of her adult life in Baytown, Texas, before moving to Jonesboro in 1979. She was a homemaker and retired from Sears where she worked in advertising. She attended Alto Missionary Baptist Church when living in Alto, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Maggie Sessions, Mary Andlauer and Annie Hunt; and two brothers, William Hunt and Wallace Hunt.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Clyde Bowman of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert and Lynda Bowman of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Sabrena Johnson of Ballwin, Mo, and April Bowman of New Orleans; and two great-granddaughters, Christy Porter and Susan Porter.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto, Texas, with the Rev. Odis Bryan officiating. O.T. Allen and Son Funeral Home of Alto is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Allen Funeral Home in Alto.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to St. Bernard's Hospice Program, 2813 Forrest Home Road, Jonesboro 72401.

There will be no local visitation.

Fred N. Campbell

CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- Fred N. Campbell, 74, of Cherokee Village, died Jan. 31, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.

Campbell was retired from the U.S. Army after more than 20 years and received the Purple Heart in Korea. He also worked for the Shelby County Sheriff's Department for more than 27 years before retiring and moving to Cherokee Village.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Campbell.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis with full military honors. Arrangements are being handled by Heath Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.
