Elbia Coffman
TOMBSTONE, Ariz. -- Elbia Coffman, 76, of Tombstone died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at TMC Hospice Unit in Tucson.
He moved to Bono from St. Louis, and to Arizona in 2002. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include one daughter, Jean Jones of Tombstone; two grandsons, Steve Moore and John Moore; one granddaughter, Stacy Fradett; two brothers, Les Coffman of Bono, and Ray Coffman of Jonesboro; one sister, Maxine McKnight of Bradford; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cozetta Coffman; his parents, Jess and Lorenia Coffman; and one brother, James Coffman.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel, with the Rev. Kathryn Coffman officiating.
Arvilla Morgan Cotten
CORD -- Arvilla Morgan Cotten, age 76, of Cord died Feb. 1, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Sherman, Ky., the daughter of Frank Walter and Dorothy Lee Horton Morgan.
She was united in marriage to Clyde Cotten. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cotten, in 1982; one brother, Lee Walter Morgan of Arkansas, Edna Davis of California, Arlene Paarman of Arkansas and Helen Bransecum of Arkansas.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Sue Timbs of Cord; one brother, Donald Morgan of Dexter, Mo; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Hope Well Cemetery
in Cord.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. today at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Arrangements are under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. of Walnut Ridge.
Raymond Phillips
CHERRY VALLEY -- Raymond Phillips, 83, of Cherry Valley, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006.
Born March 4, 1922, at Hickory Ridge, he was the son of Ellis "Doc" and Gay Pettit Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Cleveland and Willis Phillips; and sister, Dorothy Stubor.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; a son, Leeman Ray Phillips; one brother; one sister; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Wynne Chapel.
Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Harry L. Ponder
WALNUT RIDGE -- Harry L. Ponder, 95, died Thursday at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.

POCAHONTAS -- Carl David Smithey, 85, died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Curtis of Jonesboro; stepsons, Tony Hullar of Pocahontas, John Rohrbach Sr. of McDougal, and Tad Smithey of Jefferson City, Mo.; stepdaughters, Wanda Jean Ray of Pocahontas, and Helen Marie Rogers of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; brothers, Lonnie of Missouri, J.B. of Arkansas, and Roy Smithey of Mississippi; and sisters, Loretta Sherman of Louisiana, Polly Hoffman of Pennsylvania, and Ruby Feldbaumer of Illinois.
Visitation is from 11 a.m.-noon today at McNabb's, with graveside services at noon in Masonic Cemetery.
William Duel Stokes
FESTUS, Mo. -- William Duel Stokes, 79, died Wednesday.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Stokes of Supply; two sisters, Nadine Burgess of Imperial, Mo., and Freda Akins of Pocahontas; a half-brother, Jerry Don Grissom of Cherokee Village; three stepbrothers, Duel Grissom of Pocahontas, Verlon Grissom of Arizona, and Elmore Grissom of Montana; a stepsister, Velma Sanders of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Cody and Travis Alphin; and a great-granddaughter, Abby Alphin.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. today at McNabb Funeral Home.
Doyle Ralph Ward
JONESBORO -- Doyle Ralph Ward, 81, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Living most of his life in Jonesboro, he retired from Craighead Electric and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Carter Ward of the home, and a brother, Johnny Ward of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mickel and Millie Ward.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel, with Craig Stull officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Archie Carter, Brian Easton and Michael Easton.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Larry M. Ziegenhorn
JONESBORO -- Larry M. Ziegenhorn, 56, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at the NEA Medical Center.
Larry was born in Jonesboro to Louis and Mary Wymer Ziegenhorn on Sept. 20, 1949. He was a photographer and of the Church of Christ belief.
Larry is survived by his mother, Mary Ziegenhorn of Jonesboro, and a brother, Ronald Ziegenhorn of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Ziegenhorn; and two brothers, Terry Ziegenhorn and Dennis Ziegenhorn.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Langford-Bookout Funeral Chapel, with Quill Fuchs officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Davison, Matthew Ziegenhorn, Stephen Ziegenhorn, Eli Nouri, Bill Hannah, Mike Tuseth and Eric Tuseth.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Kathelyn Adams
PARAGOULD -- Kathelyn Adams, 77, of Paragould, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born May 8, 1928, in Paragould, the daughter of the late Leslie and Esther McDaniel Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Adams.
She and her husband were the owners and operators of Johnny's Restaurant, and she was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Ann and Dean Rollings of Lafe, and Penny Adams of Newport; a sister, Pat Hall of California; two brothers, Sherman Johnson of Paragould, and Bob Johnson of Hardy; grandchildren, Leslie Stallcup, Michelle and Bruce Smith, and Christopher and Jennifer Rollings; and great-grandchildren, Braden Smith and Carleigh Rae Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 tonight at Heath Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Heath Colonial Chapel, with Jon Brinkley and Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Major McDaniel, Gary Cremeens, Kenneth Pugh, Danny McDaniel, Sammy McDaniel and Jay McDaniel.
