Helenmary A. Bennington October 19, 1924 - June 15, 2003

Helenmary A. Bennington, 78, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas died Sunday, June 15, 2003. She was born October 19, 1924 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to William and Dorthy Pitz Albitz. She married Russell Bennington on November 21, 1941 in Kohoka, Missouri. A resident of Bull Shoals, since moving from Rochester, Michigan in February 1992, she was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Bull Shoals Friends of the Library.

Survivors: She is survived by: her husband, Russell Bennington of the home; five sons, Jerry Bennington of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Tim Bennington of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Randy Bennington of Perryville, Missouri, Todd Bennington of Cadillac, Michigan and Steve Bennington of North Wales, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Anne Mapes of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; grandson, John Bennington of Brighton, Michigan; 15 other grandchildren, 9 great - grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Russell Bennington, Jr. and Tom Bennington; and three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the service begins at 10:00 A.M.

Funeral: Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. in the Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals with the Revered James Fanrak officiating.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.

Russell Joseph Bennington September 1, 1923 - July 11, 2003

Russell Joseph Bennington was born September 1, 1923 at Williams, Minnesota the son of Russell J. Bennington and Mamie Newby Bennington. He married Helenmary A. Albitz at Kohoka, Missouri on November 21, 1941 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Rochester, Minnesota in 1992. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was an Engineer & Research Manager for Budd Company. He was a member of Hoevel - Barnett VFW Post #1341 and Catholic Church. He loved baseball and had played semi - pro. Russell Joseph Bennington entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2003 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Survivors: He is survived by five sons, Jerry Bennington of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Tim Bennington of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Randy Bennington of Perryville, Missouri, Todd Bennington of Cadallac, Michigan, Steve Bennington of North Wales, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Anne Mapes of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; 16 Grandchildren including, John Bennington of Brighton, Michigan, 9 Great Grandchildren and two sisters, Lilys Bantle and Mabel Helgerson.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Helenmary, and sons Russell Jr. and Tom.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 from 1:00 P.M. until service time

Funeral: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kirby - Boaz Bull Shoals Chapel

Mary Ann Benson December 15, 1936 - January 27, 2003

Mary Ann Halverson Benson, 66, died Monday, January 27, 2003 at her residence. She was born December 15, 1936 at Sioux Rapids, IA to Herman and Mildred Halverson. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Normangee, TX in 1988. She was a real estate agent for Century 21. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and the Poet Society.

Survivors: She is survived by 4 sons - Brian (Mary) James of LaHaina, HI, Rory James of Denver, CO, Gregory James of Austin, TX, and Patrick James of Pasadena, TX; Sister - Greta (John) Hall of Houston, TX; and 6 grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 10:00A.M. until service time.

Funeral: Funeral for Mary Ann Halverson Benson, 66, will be Friday, 1:30P.M., at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Charity of Choice.

Lynda Carol Bereczky February 12, 1950 - March 14, 2002

Lynda Carol Bereczky 52, of Norfork died March 14, 2002 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland to Clifton Rainey and Marie A. French Lawrence. She was married to Joseph Bereczky January 2, 1990. She was a Executive Chef, Bear Collector, and loved bingo and traveling. She was a member of the moose lodge and VFW Ladys Auxilary. she was a member of St. Peter's the Fisher of Men Catholic Church.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband Joseph Bereczky of Norfork, 1 daughter Kathryn Clayton of Delaware, 1 son Dennis Clayton JR. of Bethany, Delaware, Mother Marie Simpson of Baltimore, Maryland, 1 brother James Simpson JR. of Pineville Ar, 2 sisters Dinna Lawrence of Bethany Delaware and Marie Sligh of Baltimore Maryland, 2 Grandchildren and 1 step grandson.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her Father and a brother.

Funeral: Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. monday March 18, 2002 at Galatia Church.

Burial: Burial will be in Glatia Cemetery.

Mary A. Bergum November 1, 1908 - March 22, 2002

Mary A. Bergum 93, of Lakeview died March 22, 2002 at Auburn Hills Nursing Home. She was born November 11, 1908 in Columbia, MO. to Henry and Kathryn Steckdaub Merkel. She was a retired cook for Glenbard East High School.

Survivors: 2 sons Glenn and Judy Bergum of Lakeview and Russell A. and Carolyn Bergum of Virginia, 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by here parents, husband, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers, 2 sisters.

Funeral: Services will be Private.

Burial: Burial will be at Mount Emblem Cemetery Mausoleum in Elmhurst,IL.

Mary C. Bettfereund 1907 - 2003

Mary C. Bettfreund was born February 19, 1907 at Grove, OK to Jesse and Nancy George Beam. She married George Bettfruend on July 16, 1927 at Westwood, CA. and was an LPN. She moved to Mountain Home, AR. in 1996 from Ft. Bragg, CA. where she passed away on May 19, 2003 at the age of 96 years and 3 months.

Survivors: 2 Daughters - Helen Cirincione, (Frank) of Elizabeth, AR and Rosemarie Nelson, (Don) of Ft. Bragg, CA. 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 1 Brother - Jesse Beam (Betty) of Galt, CA and 1 Sister - Iva Schlenker of Carmichael, CA.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, 2 Daughters, 2 Brothers, and 2 sisters.

Funeral: Graveside servies will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at Inglenook Cemetery in Ft. Bragg, CA.

Julia "Sweetie" Bianco April 27, 1905 - July 11, 2003

Julia “Sweetie” Bianco was born April 27, 1905 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Frank Szeszol and Mary Jarzab. She married Jasper Bianco in Chicago in 1955 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Naperville, Illinois in July 2002. She was a former seamstress at Hart, Schaffner, Marx for 47 years and loved to crochet. She was a caregiver for many years for her 84 year old sister. Julia “Sweetie” Bianco entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2003 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 98 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Survivors: She is survived by one niece: Mary Jo Jacobsen of Mountain Home, AR; two nephews: James Szeszol of Aurora, Illinois and John Pulka of Naperville, Illinois

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation: Mountain Home visitation will be at the Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Illinois visitation will be at St. Bruno Catholic Church from 8:00 A.M. until service time.

Funeral: Funeral service will be Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Justice, Illinois.

Burial: Interment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois on Saturday, July 19, 2003

Mary O. Biggerstaff March 13, 1921 - August 20, 2003

Mary O. Biggerstaff 82, of Cotter died August 20, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center.Mrs. Biggerstaff was born May 13, 1921 the daughter of Cy and Marguarite Ramsey Boothby. She married Cecil Roy Biggerstaff on October 1, 1940 at Yuma, Arizona. Mrs. Biggerstaff was a homemaker, a volunteer Pink Lady, a member of the organ guild, and a Navy Reserve Auxiliary member. She enjoyed bowling, birds, animals, plants and crafts. She had lived in Mountain Home since moving from Malvern, Iowa in 1981.

Survivors: Mrs. Biggerstaff is survived by three daughters, Carol Ann White, Farmington, Missouri, Sharon McGonigal (Clifford) High Ridge, Missouri, and Linda McAlpin (John) of Lake Ann, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, 18 great - grandchildren and 7 great - great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and three brothers.

Visitation: Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2003 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral services for Mary O. Biggerstaff of Cotter, Arkansas will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Louis Stephens officiating.

Burial: Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Rosabelle Bingaman February 22, 1920 - November 13, 2002

She was born February 22, 1920 at McVeytown, PA to William Clarence and Margaret Jane Gearhart Gill. She was married to Carl H. Bingaman. She was a resident of Cotter, AR since moving from Bucks County, PA in 1989. She was a researcher for Princeton University. She enjoyed compiling and producing children's learning tools for youth groups and enjoyed reading. She was a member of the Universalist Church.

Survivors: She is survived by her 2 daughters - Oriann Delany of Trenton, NJ and Rhonda Bingaman of Cotter, AR; Sister - Clara Coonbe of Nampa, ID; 2 Grandchildren - Robert J. Delaney, Jr of Bucks County, PA and Kelly Stingel of Trenton NJ; 4 Great Grandchildren - Crystal Records/Delany, Joshua Records/Delany, Ryan Stingel and Kaitlyn Stingel; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in Death by: . She is preceded in death by her parents, and a Granddaughter - Deborah Ann Delaney.

Funeral: Memorial Service for Rosabelle Bingaman 82, will be Tuesday, 4:00 PM at Big Spring at Bull Shoals State Park. Rosabelle Bingaman died Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Gassville Nursing Center.
